I have been in to buy coins about 8 or 10 times over the last year. I have spent over 1000 dollars total and never made a purchase if less than 50. Every time I have went in the owner has given me the impression I was bothering him or was a burden. Everytime I asked to see there coins I was told he was busy and didnt really want to but did anyway. Today I went in, hand 70 dollars worth of coin supplies in my hands to purchase and asked to see the nickels. The owner flat out refused saying he was too busy. I was the only customer and there were two helpers in the back. The owner offered no apology and no explanation and dismissed me before we were done talking by staring back down at his paperwork.Even if I was one of 10 customers and he was the only one there would be zero excuse for refusing to show a customer your product. Do not buy coins here. What happened to me is customer service 101 and basic respect 101. The owner has neither and you will feel like a dollar sign and not a human. I will never go back.

Talked to Mike on the phone and he gave me some information about some of the items in the store. Went into the store and Mike was very knowledgeable and honest. Had a good time looking around at the various interesting items. I will definitely be going back.

Bad service in general! Owner kicked out my great grandmother who is 90 yr old out for making a remark about her happiness from the result of the election. For god sake why would you turn into such a political crybaby in front of someone who has been a loyal customer of yours for years? It makes no sense! She was even in the middle of buying coins for Christmas presents! I hope your happy about losing that sale along with any other sale you may have profited from us. Will never return and recommend the same, or give them a try and see if their in a political mood.

Used to go here a lot but lately they have been very inconsistent. Not only with their information but also in customer service. I left and went straight to Coin Exchange in Boise and they were amazing. Much more knowledge and much better costumer service than this one for sure!

Mike is more than fair with current market prices and will actually correct your mistakes for you if youre asking to little for what something is worth. A guy with eyeglasses wont give me a minute to pick and choose the coins I was interested. He was very pushy and aggressive. His remark was I dont have time for you to pick the coins, I dont make money on these. He had a very bad behavior perhaps he was having a bad day.

Mike is one of the most outgoing people I know. When he wants to get down to business he is very fair and tells you things the way they are in an appropriate manner with a good attitude. His coins are very fair market value and not over priced like the pawn shops in the surrounding area. Whatever coins or coin supplies you need, Mike will have it 99% of the time and if he doesnt, he will get it for you. I literally have spent days worth of time in the shop just browsing the display cases and even engaging in conversation with Mike, and his son Michael as well.I recommend Canyon County Coin over any coin shop or pawn shop in the area, hands down!

I went in to buy some silver not to long ago. I got into a conversation and they miscounted the cash i had brought. I was so into talking with them that i missed it as well.
