Rude employees, discussing me behind my back thinking I left the store. No manners, cursing, hopefully they read this or at least their boss. Not shopping their anymore. If you dont like people should work on the farm and if you are misarable in life should have stayed in school. Wouldnt have to work at the store for minimum wage. If you want good service use Autozone 2 miles away.

Easy ordering online. On their website they also keep a record of your past orders which makes reordering easy. Once you place your order online its usually ready within an hour. Pick up in store was fast & easy. Prices are decent but no bargain.

Great, speedy service. They came out to my car and used the diagnostic tool (in the rain) Results were bad thermostat. The part was in stock and i was on my way home so my husband could install! Thanks

Ordered a car battery online to pick up here. The online compatibility matrix sold me the wrong battery for the car. I did not realize this until I already gave my core back and the terminals were in the wrong spot. The clerk (also claiming to be the manager) wouldnt refund me as the order was an online order and there system wouldnt allow same day returns. The system wont let him. I have to return the next day. Its not my fault the system sold me the wrong battery! The person claiming to be manager would not make an attempt to try to make it right. He told me to come back tomorrow. How am I supposed to get home when I just gave them the battery from the car that got me there and he new one they sold me doesnt fit! Finally he gave me the old battery to get back home. The person had no common sense. This was terrible service. We are supposed to minimize contact with people during this COVID situation and he wants me to return tomorrow for a refund. I went to a competitor down the street and got the right battery and better service. Avoid this place. The employees dont care and hide behind Store policy. What a bunch of BS. There are 2 other competitors down the road.

The later hours of the store was so helpful. I needed a tap (M10 x 1.25) they had in stock I had no luck finding elsewhere. The local Advanced said this location had 3 in stock, which they did. I purchased two of the three. The one used so far worked fine and helped me get my exhaust manifold back on. Not having to wait another day came in clutch for an uncommon thread pitch size. Employee on the floor greeted me and made sure I was okay. Knew pretty much where to go, using layout of local store. Found what I needed and paid and left. Transaction was quick and they had the part I needed for my current job

Its refreshing to go into an Advanced auto parts store and deal with knowledgeable people. Ive had excellent experiences in all their stores. I dont know how they train their people but it works. Love the shopping experience with them.

Lazy employees! I went to the store twice asking for a battery installation, the first time they said it was too dark outside although I was there before sunset and there was enough light at 4 pm for a 30 minutes battery replacement. so I came back in few days day at around 11 AM and they said that they dont replace batteries on Toyotas!! You could have told me that before!!! So I went to Auto Zone and got the battery replaced in no time, and the employees at Auto Zone are friendly and helpful. Advanced Auto Parts you just lost a recurring customer!

I tried to return a small electrical part today, a $17.00 A/C compressor relay. when I bought the part there were several exact fit parts but not all of them looked the same. I bought the one that looked correct but realized as soon as I opened the relay box on my truck that it was too big. I took the part back to the Naugatuck store ( a place where I have spent over $900 this year) and was told flatly that they would not refund or even exchange the part. The person who helped me initially and the store manager just pointed to the sign on the door (the one Im sure everyone reads). Well, Advance, your policy just lost you a valuable customer because I wont buy anything there again. I get policies but it was just the cold and matter of fact way I got treated that really rubbed me the wrong way. First time Ive ever had a bad experience there in the three years Ive been going. Ive never been to Autozone but I just looked up their return policy and they dont exclude electronics. OReilly auto parts doesnt exclude electronics either and they are opening up a store in town soon. Guess whos getting my nine Franklins a year from now on.

If you are not 100% sure what part you need. Dont go here. They almost always get it wrong. Some people are good to deal with but, overall not the greatest experiences. I only go there because it is 1 mile from my home.

Stopped at the Naugatuck store for a free diagnostic code reader. The store advertises as a free service. Two men at the counter claimed they were to busy, one handed me the reader and said I could do it myself. There were two customers in the store at the time and it looked like one of the guys was on their phone. Pure laziness and poor customer skills.

My husband who is a senior, with arthritis in both hands needed a battery in a car replaced. He went to this store because they say they will remove and install the battery. He walked in and there were two people behind the counter with no one else in the store. When he told them what he needed they just kind of looked at him without response. When asked if they could do this they said they could not do it because it was too cold to go outside. There was no rain or snow, and it was sunny with blue skies. Granted it was single digits at 6:00 AM but at 3:30-ish it was about 25 degrees in the shade and warmer in the sun. He was incredulous to say the least and said, its not that effing cold out. Yes he used effing and not the other word. They said it was the managers decision. He asked to speak to the manager, he said he wasnt going to have his people outside in this bad weather. So he went to NAPA bought the battery and installed it himself. It took about 10 minutes. Oh by the way he did not suffer from frostbite or other cold related illnesses. Needless to say when he needs to go the parts store he will go Auto Zone, Napa, or any other parts store around and will definitely tell everyone he knows in Naugatuck to do the the same.

Advanced Auto tends to not have what Im looking for half the time but at least they offer to order it. I just go down the road to Autozone and they always have what I need. This weekend Advance auto had none, Autozone down the road didnt have it either but called their stores and I went to Seymour and got it rather than wait 2 days for Advance to order it. Autozone is one up on you Advance Auto. Need to step up the customer service.
