My car had a check engine light on for faulty transmission, they scanned and diagnosed that the TCM was bad and needed to be replaced, they replaced it and cherged me $330, guess what...now i need to go to the dealer wich i should done in the first place, $300 bucks for nothing...do your self a favor pay more to the dealer and have it done right.

Worst Pl., I’ve ever been to had to bring my car back there five times and the problem was still not fixed and now I have to jump the car because I couldn’t even drive it after I got it fixed $4000 later. If you want an honest job go to your dealer this place has kids running it and working on your car that don’t even know what is wrong with the car and then they tell you to pick it up when it’s still not fixed and you have to drive 25 miles an hour down the highway to get it home after paying $4000 for your car to be fixed

This was my first time using S&S Transmission and I had a great experience.Last night my 96 Tahoe started making a squealing sound while in gear. I called them at 10 AM, dropped off the truck at 11 AM, by 4 PM the truck was done. It ended up that my two rear u-joints were bad. $140 which is very reasonable and my mind is now at ease.I would definitely recommend this shop.

I read reviews of these guys before I went there and they live up to their reputation. They are an outstanding shop to work with and they go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. They are an asset to the community of Naugatuck and I would say that anyone should stop here first for your repair needs.

I was traveling up in Naugatuck from Georgia, and had mechanical issues with my 2006 Magnum. S & S Transmission was recommended to me, so I brought it to them. Steve was very helpful and understanding of my quick timeframe for repairs. He fortunately found out that it was not the transmission, but the muffler, so I was very relieved at this. He completed the work on schedule and I was back on the road. Many thanks, and well recommended.

S & S transmission are the best in the valley the owner Steve is very honest,he did work on all three of my vehicles,and a job well done. I would recommend him to anybody.

This guy correct on issue in my son transmission car, after he did that the car activate a transmission sensor and he say was another issue, but the car running fine, but now to only repair the light he say have to repair the transmission. the transmission is not failing, He was not capable to find the issue with the light.
