This is a place thats been around for years but I just tried it today, and Im sadly disappointed. Im big on BBQ and was excited to try it because Ive heard good things about them. I got a 2 meat plate with brisket and chicken, the sides being beans and Mac n cheese(the highlight of the meal). The chicken was properly cooked but lacking in flavor, in my opinion. The brisket was the biggest upset though. Not tender enough at all. Didnt even finish it. Id like to believe this is just a fluke but hard to think about coming back. Dickeys is hands down better

Stopped here for lunch and got a whole chicken to bring to work for dinner. We did the brisket and ribs with some dirty rice for lunch. All of it was tasty and the service was really polite. I didnt get to get any of their prepackaged stuff but they have loads of it and well definitely be back for more. Definitely a hidden gem in nederland. I snapped a pic of their menu too since I couldnt find an updated one.

Always a great place to go. Food tastes good, staff is friendly, and uts always clean. Ive been going there for many years.

I love visiting BBQ joints all across the US. This establishment was a great place for a well made meal. The environment was comforting and open. The staff seemed friendly and genuine. The chopped beef was a tad salty but was good overall. The link was excellent. Baked beans were excellent. Potato salad was above average. I will be returning if I am in the area. The main negative is I feel like the portions could be increased for the price. They are not small but I eat a lot!

Dropped off some duck/goose meat to the guys here at Butchers Korner and had them make it into several varieties of sausage. Exceptional customer service from all of the employees, and wont be hesitant to use them again in the future. Cant wait to throw some on the grill and try it!!

Cool looking old timey restaurant. The Double cheese burger was pretty good, Id recommend requesting extra seasoning on the beef patties though. The potato salad tasted like it came straight from walmart. The staff was friendly . The wait was not bad. A decent place for a meal. Itll cost you about $30 dollars to feed two people .

The Ribeye Sandwich is awesome! We are new to the area and just noticed the place. My Wife went by there and picked us up a couple of sandwiches Friday. She said they cut the Ribeye fresh and then cooked it to order. You can tell the quality and the seasoning was great too. They have definitely gained 2 new customers!

Butchers Korner is a Nederland treasure. This is the only place I get my steaks. Great food and great people. Their BBQ is the best in the area.

The best smoked pork sausage with jalapeno cheese in the area.

The smoked turkeys at the holidays are the best ever! And the lunch menu - well, I havent had anything I havent enjoyed yet!

The brisket, cajun sausage, and dirty rice was fantastic. It was so good, I will be ordering for the 4th of July

Chopped beef, beans, potatoe salad and Cole slaw all tasted like it came from Walmart Deli.

Local favorite, selection is always fresh! Lunch is a must here.
