Was trying to get a price for a pair of used tires and when he told me the price I asked if that was out the door without mounting. He simply repeated the price without confirming if it did or didnt include mounting, I asked again and he hung up. Sorry youre having a bad day, cheer up, its a Friday. Excellent service everytime. Honest, fast, well priced all around for tires or service. Just had suspension work and an alignment done on my truck that ended up being almost $400 less than another local shop had quoted for. I recommend their shop every chance I get.

The new tires I bought here and had mounted seem fine. However, several things were off about my visit. I got home (not more than a mile down the road) and I felt like the truck was accelerating hard/laboring a little. I got out and looked at the tires and could see right away they were low. All four of them were at 25psi. Now my door tag states 35 pounds all around. So after initially setting the bead they must have never checked the air pressure. I aired them up myself and also found 3 loose lugnuts on two tires. The even more enjoyable part happend next. After about an hour at home I decided to head early to work. I got on 41 northbound and within less than a half mile my rear u joint blew out on my driveshaft. No noise. No vibration. No warning. Ive never had a truck do that before including all the commercial trucks Ive driven. Theres always a warning sign. I had to get it towed into a shop in Appleton and paid $400 to have my aluminum driveshaft reworked and have new joints installed. Am I saying used treads did something to it? No. Just very uncanny that it happend so suddenly with no warnings after it was in their shop. Those joints were less than 6 months old too.

Usually great, fast service. My only complaint is their suggested repairs tend reach if they cant find anything else. Today I literally drove from getting an alignment to here, but i supposedly magically now have play in a tie rod (making it impossible to do an alignment properly, yet it wasnt mentioned as bad 45min prior)

They have very good prices on a lot of tires and they carry a lot of brands that may not be the most popular brands but quite a few. Its kind of a dumpy place and the people that work there arent always a friendliest, but again prices are great. I should add that we had Kenda brand tires put on our van and they handle fantastic in the snow and theyre really quiet going down the highway. Its a great tire I would definitely buy that again from used treads

Be prepared to not be fully compensated if they damage your property. I took in one rim for tire replacement as I had a nail in the tire that could not be repaired. I asked them up front to be careful with my rim as the last time a tire was replaced the shop damaged the rim. (Maybe this design of rim is more prone to damage - but I guess the experts should know this.) They replaced the tire and said they took good care of my rim. Boy was I surprised when I looked at the rim as it was gouged up. Luckily, I learned my lesson from the last time the other shop damaged the rim and I had pictures from before they worked on it. The manager on duty said the owner would call me the next day but that did not happen. I had to call them and then make a trip into the shop after sending pictures so the owner could view the damage - to be compensated $20. I dont think I would have been compensated anything without the pictures. A used wheel on craigslist is selling for $150 (with tire) and it is worse shape than mine even after the damage they caused. The other shop that damaged my rim purchased me a new rim.I expect “experts” to be able to return my property to me in the same condition as when I took it in. If they damage it I would expect to have the property returned to the same condition as when I took it in and unfortunately that did not happen.UPDATE after reading response:Maybe your are thinking of a different customer with your response. My bill was just under $50 and you did not offer to refund the full tire cost. Some of your other details about the condition of my wheels are off also not correct. 3 of the 4 wheels are in near perfect shape. Before and after pictures are attached so people can judge for themselves.

Ive been buying used tires for years. Having shopped every place in the valley, I can honestly say Ricky is the best hands down! Used Treads has never failed me. New or used, One tire to sets of tires. They had two sets of tires installed on my vehicles in less than 48 hours from my original call. Everyone else was 4-5 days out. They also came in $500.00 under the quotes of other tire places. Ill never go anywhere else.

I always get tires from here because they are cheaper than everywhere else for nearly brand new tires, and their honest and friendly service is refreshing.Today i went in for a rotation/alignment after replacing drivers side front wheel hub, and they come out and tell me, no alignment for you today. your drivers side looks good, but your passenger side has too much play in it and your tie rod end needs replaced too. Might want to do the shocks and struts based on the mileage, but dont need to because they dont look bad.Then charged me a pittance (super cheap) for the rotation and told me to come back tomorrow for a retorque of the lugs!Love it!! They could have done it anyway and charged me 100$ only to need it again in a week when i do my replacements, but instead, they looked stuff over for me, told me what I needed and what i didnt need replaced, did the tire rotation for me, and even offered to do the retorque tomorrow themselves instead of the usual youll want to check your lugs after 24 hours like most places i have been.Really impressed! Thank you for being awesome!! I will def be a returning customer and recommend them to anyone else in the area!

I came in without calling, worried about a horrible sound my wheel was making. They had time for me, took a test drive with me, and fixed the issue while I waited. At a reasonable cost, too. Plus they were dog friendly, which is top notch in my opinion. I will be going back and I highly recommend them.

My son was buying new tires, based on my previous experience in recent years. The owner and his staff are very good at what they do in every aspect of the transaction. You can even purchase used tires with an assurance that the tires will perform adequately. Alignments, suspension issues: covered. Same with brakes, too.

I had a slow leak in my tire. They re-beaded it but it continued to leak and we found out I had a cracked rim :/ They called around and found the best price on a used rim for me and put it on. No problems since. Duane and Ricky were awesome to work with. Highly recommend!

I have been a loyal customer for five years. Never had an issue. Today a different story. The lady at the counter was very rude, so i chose to take my business else where. So shocked at the service i recieved from them.

I took my car in to get 4 tires and an alignment. Everywhere else quoted me double what I paid here for 4 tires and they had multiple different brands in stock of my tire size which never happens! I wasnt able to get an alignment due to bad ball joints but the guy told me tips on how to replace them and even offered what to do myself to save money instead of pay them to do it. He also suggested places to walk around to while I waited for them to change my tires. Theyre so friendly and I will recommend them to everyone. Its never fun spending a lot of money on my car but they made it a lot less painful with their friendly staff.

Searched for days for a rare tire size, these guys were the ONLY ones who had it. When I mounted it and there was a pinhole leak, they refunded me no questions asked and gave me a discount on a replacement. Ive gone to Used Treads on 3 occasions and plan to keep doing business there - excellent customer service without an aggressive sales pitch!

Honestly they have one of the largest inventories for tires in the fox cities. On top of that it cost me $69 dollars for a tire including the install. They could also do it the day of me calling, not 30 minutes after I called them. If you need a tire I would recommend them to a friend or even a stranger.

26 days ago I bought 2 used tires from Used Treads. Today one of them blew out while going down the highway. I called to see if there was a warranty and told there is not a warranty on used tires but if it was a faulty tire they would replace it. So after being given false hopes, I drove there so they could inspect the tire. I was told again that there is no warranty. The guy said a belt broke. No kidding! The tire was in shreads! When I told them I only had the tire 26 days, he responded ya, it happens. The front corner panel of my car is severely damaged along with the wheel well and some wire the tire caught along the way. This one tire cost me $45 plus $20 for mounting and balancing.(90 for the pair plus 40 m&b) If you want a company who stands behind their product, this is not the company for you!Also, per my insurance, if I claim the damage to my car its considered an at fault accident and I can expect to say good bye to my accident free discount and say hello to higher premiums!

I totaled my car hitting a deer but decided to drive it for the winter (as it makes no sense driving a new car through the salt) and I just needed a set of used tires to last me a few months! They were more than helpful and polite. Cant complain one bit!

I Called to ask about how much i could get for a set of 4 wrangler duratrack 295 65 r18 tires with an 1/8 to 3/16 of tread and was treated very rudely after waiting 5 minutes to speak to someone. I realise that these tires are on their last leg of tread but to the right buyer for some weekend fun would fetch some money decent money. Response i got was very unprofessional and rude and i have never rated any business so low at 2 stars

Every time Ive been there u lug gets broke,and I understand that lugs brake. But every time??? And they wont replace them. Also every time the lugs have to be tightened. I recommend a reputable place for tires. Nothing but problems there!!!!!

I was in there and the chick Lauren seemed pretty rude to customers on the phone thankfully I didn’t have to deal with her until I called just a little while ago and she was super rude to me interrupted me using My first name before I could even speak now I’ve gone to this place before even after others have had nothing nice to say about the place. But I won’t ever be going back again I don’t ever want to see that negative ball of energy Lauren again . Also I was told nothing about anything that needed repairing when installation was completed. But Lauren was insistent that’s the only reason I would be quoted 79$ for an alignment. Even though that was just a quote given by dude at 930 am day of tire installation. I will be getting repairs and alignment done elsewhere. An will never let my teenage son take his car there or anyone I know. I will tell them about this chick. I’ve been going there since it was a couch in the middle of a bunch of tires and never have I been treated so rudely.

It takes alot to get a five star rating from me, but we have been here 3 times now all while in an emergency situation which never comes at a good financial time. The team here every time without fair has helped us find something safe and reliable while respecting our budget. I used to work in thebauto industry so i always expect something shady to happen but these guys are honest and genuine and helpful. My husband (Jeff Dobberke) just had both his truck and car tires replaced. Hes gone here for a few years now and cant say enough about them. The owner is knowledgeable and keeps tires on our vehicles that make sense~ for the vehicle, weather, and wear and tear. Weve never had a problem and will gladly drive to Neenah for service because theres nobody in Oshkosh that can touch the price and quality. Sure, you can get cheaper tires but youre missing out on a BETTER tire and that is never a good trade. Highly recommend!

Good deals on tires but they put my muddy tires right in my back seat no bag, just nothing. Got my stuff all dirty. Didnt ask do you want them in back? Do you care if we get mud stains on your seats? And someone over there doesnt know how to use a parking brake, prolly didnt even clutch as they rammed it into gear. Would rather spend more on tires than go back 100%.

Ive been doing my own repairs on my own vehicles, familys vehicles, and friends vehicles since I was a fresh in high school. So I did the lower control arms on my wifes car and because it obviously holds the Balljoints, I wanted to get an alignment done professionally. So I took it here because its close to home... Well, Im definitely regretting it!! My wifes car litteraly shakes and it was solid before taking it to them. So I call and talk to a guy named Rich who ended up getting an attitude with me. He tried saying it had to be from me not tightening the bolts down correctly from changing the lower control arms... Reallllyyyy????!!!! Its litteraly three bolts with washer and nuts... then he persisted that Id have to pay for labor for them to just look at it and then obviously to fix it... Really??? it was 2 days ago, theres nothing about anything in the documents about anything done incorrectly on my end so why all the sudden are you trying to say its because I changed my own lower control arms??? You guys litteraly gave it back to me and said it was go to go... Why didnt you say something then especially when I told you why I was having it done before I brought it to you in the first place. Scam artists in my opinion. Ill be going somewhere else to get a proper professional allignment.

I have three veichals that I have serviced by Rick and his guys. Does a great job everything and always takes care of me.

My experience with Ricky and his employees was sub par at best and I would not recommend them unless youre desperate for a quick used tire. I dropped my 95 Dodge Cummins dually off at close of business on a Monday for some much brand new, bigger tires, (285/75R16s), that required the use of 1.5 wheel spacers which I provided. I picked the truck up the following day, allowing them to work on the truck all day since a dually is much more time intensive. I informed Ricky I had a 100+ mile trip directly from his store and he assured me all would be well. All was not well. At 45 mph and higher the truck shook violently. I called Ricky the following day, but due to my schedule was not able to drop the truck back off, instead I did some investigating of my own. I found the following: the wheel spacers were installed incorrectly as to allow the stock studs to protrude from the wheel spacer no less than 3/8 effectively warping my outer rims as the rim was tightened to the wheel studs versus the face of the wheel spacer, the wheel spacers lug nuts were not tight as it required a skinny socket (which is a common tool for any shop), and my stock rim spacers that go between the rear dually wheels are missing. I sent Ricky pictures of what I found and talked with him on the phone and through text message. He said hed take the truck in and rebalance the tires with wheel weights versus the nylon beads that he used to internally balance my wheels which I paid extra for and was not compensated for. I dropped the truck off on the following Thursday night and was told it wouldnt be worked on until the following Monday. Due to my job, I was out of state until that Friday which is when I picked the truck up after hours. Prior to me picking the truck up I talked with Ricky after several unsuccessful attempts at getting ahold of him throughout the week through texts and phone calls. He said he bought me 2 new rear rims to replace the ones his shop ruined-which turns out he replaced my ruined rims with rusty used rims, they put wheel weights on and removed the nylon beads, used to balance the wheel internally, and did not compensate me for the difference in cost between the two methods, and said he balanced the wheels to the best of his shops ability but there was still a vibration and it was probably due to my vehicles mileage (298,xxx miles). However, being that Im a technician my vehicle is well maintained and did not vibrate in the least when the truck was dropped off. While Ricky was test driving my vehicle before and after the second round of wheel balancing, I received 2 phone calls from 2 different acquaintances asking why I was driving around Neenah beating on my truck. I informed them it was not me driving my truck and to please follow and report back to me the style of which my truck was driven: very aggressively from stops and very fast around corners and round-a-bouts. The shift of all my tools in my tool box and the shift of all the parts in the extended cab portion of my truck confirms this. I now own a truck that vibrates aggessively at speeds of 45+mph, is missing a rear wheel hub cap, and is missing the stock wheel spacer for the rear wheels. Ive given up trying to work with this smooth talking clown and am investigating if the vibration is due to now warped hubs. If thats the case I will be taking him to small claims court for full compensation and am contacting the Better Business Bureau. Thank you for your time reading this.
