Excellent Service, fair price!

SHIFTY.... my situation was my car broke down off of I-44 and the tow truck driver said he was friends with the owner of this place and they were great. I own an Infiniti and I have times where people wont work on it so he called and verified if he would. I was told no problem. Very long story short. I was told my car was fixed and to pick it up and it cost $585 to repair (not replace) alternator and OH, he will ONLY TAKE CASH. When I arrived (1.5 hr drive) my hood was up and they couldnt get it to start. Turns out his repair was a fail and they needed me to pay cash for the alternator before they could order it. (I was stuck and had no option) I paid and was told it would be ready for pickup the next day. Nope sure wasnt. I ended riding home to KC without my car and having to return 3 days later (3 hr drive each way) to pick up my car. Replacing the alternator worked but boom another surprise- The bill had completely changed (I have the original bill) and he says the $585 was only the labor cost. He states it is what it is and wont give me my car unless I pay in cash. Horrible situation!! The mechanic had no business working on an Infiniti and his business is full of shifty dealing. PAY cash, no credit card machine for a $885 ordeal. People like him should not be in business. This is the situation you fear will happen to you when you are stranded on the side of the road. It was a nightmare.

I paid in advance for work done to my truck. I was told it would be done in a week. Its been a month and its still not working. This is the most unprofessional, uneducated, unmotivated, untimely place that I have ever been. Never have taken any vehicles anywhere for work, always done at home. Of course, the first time I do I get screwed around. Called local professionals that said they would charge half of what Pro-Tune wanted for the same work. And the truck would be fully functional.

Hands down the best shop I’ve ever been to! They treat you like family, shoot you straight and truly do their best to help you out when you’re stuck in a rut. If I could give extra stars I would, I can’t recommend them enough!!
