Sad to say but after almost 20 years I won’t be going back, they’ve raised prices considerably on the food they sell. An Egg sandwich used to cost $4 now its $6-$7. 1/4 pound of bologna on a roll was $11... They were also very rude in store when asking why prices were going up.

Love the staff and the products. Product are nicely stocked. Deli and egg sandwiches are yummy. Staff is always willing to help.

Gotta add a review for this place since I see a huge quantity of negative reviews.Lemme tell ya - all of these reviews saying that the employees are always rude and awful are totally incorrect.The employees here are super friendly (and some of them are really funny when you talk to them too)! The service here is still amazing (and Ive been going here for over ten years). If anything, the service has gotten better over time!As for the prices, I dont recall their prices ever skyrocketing. For a smaller shop, you usually expect higher prices anyway, so even if the prices are a bit higher, they more than likely NEED to be so that the company can stay in business since they only have a few SMALL shops.Now onto my favorite part: Breakfast! This place has the best bacon, egg and cheeses that Ive ever had in my entire life. The cooks are great people and always make me smile while Im there. Ill more than likely be going there for more BE&Cs tomorrow lol.For lunch, their deli sandwiches are also pretty dang good! I havent had lunch there recently though, so I cant include any details regarding my personal experiences.Overall, this place should NOT go out of business like some of these reviewers are desiring. This place is still awesome and will still have me going back at least once per week!Best of luck to everyone working at this Handy Pantry (and Chris, best of luck with your recovery, man. Ill be handing over some more money tomorrow since you definitely deserve it).

This is a nice handy pantry, with good workers and fine food.These 1 star reviews seem odd.

Very friendly and smiles to greet you everyday. Of my 23 years of going there I have NEVER EVER had any issues. Sandwiches are beyond awesome and the owner is on site 5 days a week. Managers are attentive and precise.

I will NEVER go back here. Three seperate times now, several weeks apart, I stopped here after work. I walk up to the deli counter and wind up just standing there as employees hang out, talking and laughing amongst themselves.

This place is horrible. Service terrible. Food terrible. Overpriced. Never have anyone working the cash register. Im surprised theyre still in business. I cannot stress enough that you should go literally anywhere else but this store.

Ordered 2 sandwiches this afternoon - roast beef Hero with mayo salt & pepper and ham & Swiss on rye with mayo & tomato. The roast beef hero was PASTRAMI & the cheese on the Ham sandwich WAS NOT SWISS. You need to hire experienced deli workers that know the differences in products, NOT PAJAMA WEARING KIDS!!! NOT HAPPY!!!!

Never going back.Btw...Jecos deli thats right up the road from you had WAY BETTER customer service skills and was pleasant on the phone. Now I know why they have better ratings then you with your 2.3 stars. Shame shame.

Ive been living in Ronkonkoma since 1994, and this store was always a nice place to stop..In the past few years, I dont know whether they changed ownership,or families, but it has become the Last place Id want to shop. The staff is not friendly anymore, prices have gone sky high. Service is slow. No one answers the phone when trying to call in a breakfast order.Also, your counter staff has hygiene that leaves a lot to be desired. Its definitely gone downhill fast. Now, I only go there for the cheap rolls on Sunday, and even that takes 10 minutes or more. Im very disappointed in whoever runs this place, you are losing business fast.

Prices are outrageous!!! Its a bummer bc they are very convenient and close by to my home but Id rather go a couple miles down the road to stop n shop bc I hate Handys prices! Come on guys!! The demand is high for these kind of places, so drop your prices a bit!!!!

This store was good years ago. Its become a very poorly run store. I asked nicely to slice cold cuts thin and they argued with me and became nasty. Very dirty at times. Fruits and veggies are disgusting.Some of my neighbors wont shop there anymore. I only shop in emergency situations. What a shame.

Slow service all kids just talk and talk wait for 30 minutes for some coldcuts, crazy. 5 people behind counter. I am waiting do you think the other would help get me out faster no lets just talk and talk. This wasnt first time.

By far the worst Handy Pantry on Long Island. Horrible customer service. Lazy, rude staff. Sub part food. Doesnt look like its been thoroughly cleaned in ages.Avoid, avoid, avoid.
