Nice people, great welcoming committee (sweet little dogs) and overall good experience. Rented a 4 person pontoon boat. Will likely go back, but will request bigger pontoon as there was not much room for us to spread out (my fault). I enjoy being able to lounge, spread out, and maybe even take a nap on a boat, and unfortunately there wasn’t much seating but again, I should’ve requested a larger boat because we got exactly what I requested. Boat was an older pontoon, definitely well loved, had lots of cobwebs and could have used a good sweeping… but it served its purpose and we had a good time out in the bay area. The pricing was extremely reasonable ($300 for 6 hrs) which is why we will likely go back the next time we want to rent. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff that seem to enjoy what they do. It was a pleasant experience watching them deal with both locals and tourists. They treated everyone great. We rented a pontoon boat. It was, well, a classic, she was clean though. Yes, yes there was some spider webs. Its Michigan and we have spiders. They get inside your garaged locked car, so expect some... The overall experience was definitely worth doing battle with a couple dock spiders! 3 adults, one tween and a baby had a great time; 2 spiders did not! Definitely recommend!

Tried several baits to see there action and the performance of the rod and reels of three. No bites but that was just going to be a bonus. Hot Humid but only a few other fishing people. There where seriously fishing. Great place to put your boat in with a very short run into the lake. St. Claire. End of m-59. Some call it hall road, some call it 20 mile road. All good.

They cancelled my boat on the morning of my rental for “wind conditions.” It’s a beautiful day without any storms in all of Michigan. I personally called around and no other rental locations canceled for the day, including neighboring businesses. I have family from the southern USA visiting and booked this a month ago (also I was on hold for 15 minutes when I booked). If you have the option to book with someone else, even if the price is more, do it.

I went in Anglers Bait Shop on the 16th to purchase 2 out of state licenses for the 18th.Handed my daughters and my license to the gentleman behind the desk and stated that they were to be issued for the 18th.The transaction was passed to the woman also behind counter.After we were issued licenses and paid, it was noticed that she had put wrong date on license (16th).When brought to woman’s attention she refused to correct issue. Stating that there was nothing she could do once transaction action goes through.You would think that a woman who runs a bait store would have the knowledge of Michigan fishing rules.I contacted the Michigan DNR and was informed that she had the ability to void transaction and reissue correct one.I understand that it was only $20. The point is that this woman had very poor customer service skills, very unknowledgeable of DNR rules or was just to lazy to correct her mistake.Wish I could of posted no stars.A follow up to the issue I had at Anglers Point Bait Shop.I was contacted by a gentleman (Chris) from the store. He was very apologetic for the misunderstanding and issued refund for license.Thank you again for resolving this issue.Hope to return next year for another fishing charter.

Stayed at anglers point in October. Had a great time caught a lot of walleye. Rental units were very nice and clean. All the personnel there were very helpful and considerate. Bait store had Everything that we needed And we will definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to anyone

Awesome place. Great stop while on the lake. The Uncle Henrys snack sticks they carry are always a treat. Restrooms are extremely clean and the gas pumps are still on which is amazing for guys hunting ducks everyday and still needing ethanol free fuel.

I rented a boat boat for the kids. Boat was not clean had to wait. All seat were not in working order. We went so i would not disappoint the children. The engine seem to small to push the boat. Came back early ask for 1 hour back . lady at counter seem to have an attitude said they could have rented it but had 4 boats there waiting to be rented. Will never go there again. Wanted us to pay cash so she could not ring it up something about not paying taxes.

We stayed in the loft above the store In August 2019. The power went out during a storm. The owner was outside in the rain minutes after, starting the generator so we would have power. He stayed at the store all night keeping the generators running. Obviously he had other stuff to keep power to, but I did appreciate it.The loft above the store was clean and had everything we needed. Vicky is always awesome!All of the stuff I purchased, hooks, weights, chips were reasonably priced. I did buy a 30 drift sock that was $7.00 cheaper than at Sportsmans Direct.

This trip is always amazing and the awesome people at Anglers Point make it even more amazing! We love staying here!

Vicky is so helpful. Her suggestions are always spot on and she always greets you with a warm smile. AND THOSE PUPPIES!!! I am obsessed with them and you can always count on them being around. This is an all around great place for all your fishing needs and then some. I also get my fishing licenses from them too. Plan on utilizing their boat and loft rentals for a get together in the near future. A++++++

Tried to rent a boat they called and verified saying we can have a rental showed up ready to go no boat. Worst experience ever! kids disappointed on vacation I highly recommend go somewhere else.

Great place to stay! 12 of us rented the upstairs and downstairs for the weekend of August 1st through the 3rd, 2013. The facilities are fantastic! The owners were VERY accommodating and helpful. There was 12 of us and we had 9 boats the we parked in their parking lot. Loved the secured gate too! Really, cant say enough about how nice of a place it was to stay!

Rented boat slip for 4th of July weekend. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Allowed me to leave trailer on-site all weekend which was a big help. Fish cleaning station come in very handy too. 😎 Would highly recommend Anglers Point and will be back in the future.

Anglers Point was a fantastic place to stay for a weekend away. The management was super friendly, accommodating and helpful (they even told us where we might find some good fishing holes.) The unit that we rented was fantastic - with a big kitchen, nice living room area, flat screen tv and comfortable beds. The deck was great to have access to as well, with a grill available for us to use. Right off the highway and close to a little shopping plaza, Id recommend this place to anyone looking to visit lake st. clair!
