They were all so helpful and honest with helping me pick out frames that suited my face shape. After I thought I had settled on “the ones”, Ebony found another pair that I ended up with. She made sure to check to see which way of billing gave me the best deal which led me to buying a pair of sunglasses also. The Dr. was so thorough and didn’t rush me through the exam, that was nice because it can be stressful deciding which lens is better during the exam. I love that they don’t try to oversell you options just for the sake of them making money. It’s a 40 minute drive for me to come to this location and I will now always make that drive. My daughter, her husband and all 4 of their daughters wear glasses and they also won’t go anywhere else.

Ebony G was very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed working with her! She knows her job inside and out and can help you if you have any problems.

They have the worst customer service at this location. When I went to buy a new pair of eyeglasses they were getting upset with me because they said I was trying on too many because they had to disinfect each pair. I felt bad but at the same time I want to find the right pair? And then I had lost my glasses and I couldn’t see! So I called and asked if they had a trial pair i could have until my order came in and they told me they don’t do that, they only give trial pairs after an eye exam! Even after I pleaded and said it was an emergency! And then I had ordered the acuvu oasis and my eyes couldn’t tolerate them so i called to see about switching brands and she told me I would have to make a appointment with the eye doctor before I could switch!!? How does that make any sense? Time and time again I continue to have the worst experiences here but unfortunately it was my neighborhood eye doctor until the last straw!! Now I will never use SVS vision again and I would highly recommend against it!

Customer service was awesome, really nice people inside. I wish there was more of a glass selection, or maybe privacy when trying on glasses but thats nothing they can really do.

This was my first SVS Vision Optical experience. I was taken great care from my optical exam with Dr. Schneider, providing a referral for further optical examination with an ophthalmologist, and to selecting my frames along with processing my order with Amanda. Most of all this center is taking COVID-19 in consideration by following the CDC guidelines very closely. I would highly recommend this optical center.#ChesterfieldTwp.

Im 47 years old and I needed my first pair of glasses. The staff at SVS Vision made this transition very easy. They have the patience of angels and share their knowledge like college professors. They are an amazing staff. I brought my 24 year old daughter with me (who wears glasses) and we both agree that we havent been in a room filled with that many friendly people at one time, ever. From start to finish my time at this SVS was wonderful. Rachel who arranged my appointment and kept me updated was professional and pleasant. I asked Dr. Webb many questions and he was knowledgeable, honest and patient. Actually had a good time in the office. The doctor was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure I knew what was going on with my eyes. All of the ladies up front were extremely helpful and very friendly. Definitely going back.

Just got new insurance and SVS was recommended. The prices seem high (?) but I didnt price shop. The eye exam was standard; nothing special. Staff is very friendly but they are busy and one time I had to wait over 5 minutes just to pick up my new glasses. (not bad.....)

Recieved very prompt service. The doctor I had was really nice. I received aide in finding a new pair of glasses reasonably priced and was able to do a split payment where I just had to pay rest of amount due to pick up my glasses. When i went to pick up glasses it was super quick to get fitted correctly

Dr Webb is great! The staff is super nice, especially Amanda. So far, Ive had a great experience with them. My mom loved going there and referred my hubby and I there. Very little wait time, nice atmosphere!

Staff was very courteous. Ethan helped me with my glasses order & was very patient & courteous. I would have given 5 stars but I started the process online & it was very tedious & inefficient. Kept asking me for information I had already provided.Was at SVS again recently. Staff still very nice but if staff vaccinations are not mandatory then I wont be back.Dont think there is anything else to say. If youre policy is not to be part of the solution than your are part of the problem.Also. Recently went to pickup my new Rx. Apparently the staff doesnt understand what curbside pickup means. If u have to come in, thats not curbside.

Great experience. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The doctor took me back before I could even sit in the waiting room to wait for him but they have coffee and cookies for when you do have to wait. Picking out glasses can be a little stressful (if you’re a female you know what I’m talking about) but Amanda was very patient and helped pick out the perfect pair! SVS in Chesterfield Twp. at 23 and Gratiot is SUPERB! I went there to pick out frames only. Every single employee was extremely kind and helpful! This location, Gratiot and 23 Mile Road, is the best! Everyone, including the doctor, are so friendly! The staff takes the time to explain your prescription and helps you pick out the frames. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I will come back here and so will my whole family!!!!!

2 years ago I posted a review praising this location but after today Im changing it. The humiliation and disrespect that I have felt from the staff I dont even know if the doctor is aware that the people who work for him are so condescending to his patients. I definitely will not be returning even when Im able to again.

Purchased $700 in eyeware only to have the frame snap. Ive been wearing glasses all my life and do not mistreat my eyeware. 99% of the time I wear contacts so around the 4th time putting them on my head they snapped. SVS will only cover 70% of the retail price. So basically I pay their whole sale price. Poor quality product, got the run around at the store and the corporate office. They enjoy quoting policy and have lost any future business I would give them.Anyone want to recommend a new place to get glasses, contacts, and vision tests done? Ill also be notifying my coworkers of their inferior product and service.

I came to this location after receiving awfully rude service from the staff at the SVS Vision center on Hayes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is the best optic center Ive been to. When I called to make an appointment, I spoke to Andrue and he booked me a spot for the next day! After my exam, Andrue wrapped up my appointment and even looked up specific frames that I wanted to buy. Andrue is an impeccable optician and made the whole process very easy for me. Dr. Webb is a wonderful, up-beat optometrist and radiates positivity within the clinic as well. I almost want to be a regular just because the staff is so great at making conversation, and are all so kind. I never thought I would have such a great time getting my eyes checked. Thanks to the grumpy lady at SVS on Hayes for helping me find my go-to optical center!

Would give negative stars if I could. Inspect your invoice and ask about every charge before paying. They tell you nothing and hit you with hidden chargesAside from the exam, every part of my visits were handled poorly or done incorrectly.You added features to my glasses that increased cost without informing me. The feature added without consent also prevented my insurance from covering it.I said i wanted daily contacts for the trials, but 2 week contacts were ordered which added at least another painful week with you guys.Pretty much tried everything you could to prevent my insurance from paying for things.You didnt even bother to look at my insurance to see that it covered both contacts and glasses were covered, and then argued with me when I told you it did. You apparently were unable to read the benefits page I gave you because it clearly states in addition to glasses. You also claimed the benefita sheet I gave you was old and from 2015 when it clearly stated effective date was 2018 ob it. You were looking at the last time this policy was revised by the insurance company...which is irrevelent.You did not mention to me that my contact evalution is covered by my insurance if i get contact on a special list. Again not understanding my insurance benefits and I had to argue with you about that as well,Pretty much seemed like you didnt look at my insurance at all or wasnt able to understand the benefits.You added a misc $10 copay under frames when i clearly have no copay for frames, and then decided to call it materials cost to make me pay for it...well how about properly labeling items on your invoice? You cant just say oh, it was labeled wrong and not in the correct spot.Your employees do not pay attention or care how they are affecting their customers. Not once did I get an apology for the errors made at every step of my order. You do shady business practices, and I will never come back and will definately recommend people to go somewhere else. Im just happy I never have to deal with your horrible team again.
