Knowing next to nothing about cars, it’s always intimidating walking into an auto parts store. Luckily Shari works here and had an answer for literally EVERYTHING I had to throw at her. She wasn’t pushy, found me exactly what I needed, and helped me with some preventative maintenance. Easiest up sell of her day! 😂 Anyway, 6/5 stars, will return to this location if only for the service offered by Shari.

I have just visited, and there was some amazing suggestions and great customer service.

They pointed me right to what I needed. Joked with me for minute. And got me out of there fast. Awesome staff and exactly what I needed.

In and out in under 5 mins. Friendly staff greeted us at the door. And only spent 45 bucks. Saved 60 bucks by doing my own oil change.

I have a 2014 Nissan Altima and when I go to push it and try to start it jump but won’t start sometimes and if it don’t start a jump won’t help it I got to let it just sit for awhile then it start somebody said it might be the fuel pump but idk but can I come in the morning and check my battery

Associate literally told me he didnt want to give me an engine check, showed his aggravation and gave me a false reading. Garrett you need to go flip a burger since you dont want to work.😡

The staff at this location are wonderful and friendly! They helped me find the correct wiper blades for my older vehicle and installed them for me quickly and efficiently. Absolutely recommend this place!

Set out for nearly an 800 mile trip with my husband and our children went over the car with a fine toothed comb. They also purchased doubles of all liquids required for a vehicle. Thankfully AutoZone had everything, otherwise I dont believe our kids would have let us travel. Thank you to the Clerks that day!

Oh man! This is the nicest AutoZone Ive ever been to!!! Accommodating and clean and great selection of products! I want to go crazy in there on a shopping spree! They have so many great things for tuning up or down your vehicle and making it look and smell fantastic! Great deals on tools and jacks and jack stands! Sound system equipment for your car or truck and so many options for touch ups or dress ups or fix ups on the engine or body. Really exciting place if you enjoy fixing up your car and if you havent gotten into it yet its a great place to start! Rent tools, learn about your vehicle, and set yourself up to make regular maintaining of your ride a part of your life! Its good business!

They didnt have the rear wiper I needed. However the customer service was good. The guy must have opened 10 different boxes to locate what I wanted. At least he tried. Since COVID-19 employees cant come out to check codes on your vehicle but, they will let you do it yourself. You then bring it back to them and they will read the diagnostics and give you a print out

The free OBD II scan was worthless. The technician couldnt even get the scan tool to function, they blamed it on my car having a blown fuse. (none were) They refused to take my suggestion that the battery was probably dead in thier scan tool. I went to a competitors parts place and the free scan tool worked just fine there. (Obviously there was nothing wrong with my cars OBD2 connection)

Longer waiting time for check out than other similar stores.

Joe Jones is a very knowledgeable and a helpful member of the AutoZone team. He always helps me with my questions, personally find and get what I need, will give recommendations on what would be best to purchase, and is always polite and professional. I will definitely continue using the Neuse Blvd location in New Bern, NC.

I always talk to Joe. Guy with the tattoos in commercial. Really knowledgeable and wont steer you wrong. And knows where to take your car (and not to take it) if you cant fix it too!

Friendly and helpful service. I had to get some new wiper blades for a fleet vehicle and they got me what I needed and on my way. You can order what you need online (thats what I did) and theyll have it ready for pick up quick. When I ordered the blades they had it ready by the time I got there.

From the get go I didnt want to stop at an Auto zone and buy a new battery but my car wasnt going to go any further. As soon as I came in nobody said hello or seemed interested in helping me. They ended up giving me a battery that was too small for my vehicle which ended up having my car battery catch flames an almost setting my car in flames. Thankfully I had an experienced mechanic call them and have it settled. I will NEVER go back there.

You may have to wait for service, but it is worth the wait. The staff there take time with each customer to answer all their questions and get them the right parts, materials or supplies. They have always been a great source of information in my times of car trouble. I highly recommend this store. I hope your experiences are as wonderful as mine.

They helped me dFind what was wrong and find the part I needed

Ordered part, was told it would be in by 3pm the next day.....two days later it arrived. Not sure if it was AutoZone or FedEx that was the issue. Either way no one called to update me until it actually arrived, I had to call and prod for information. No discount or incentive was offered for my inconvenience.

If I need some random part for my car I always go here. I have never had a bad experience with AZ. Great overall. Staff is helpful.

Got what I needed and quick exit

Usually go to Advance on Glenburnie, but because of a Bank of America promotion, tried this place for a second time. First time I was told that I needed a new battery, but a second check showed a misreading. This time I wanted windshield wipers that did not leave streaks and were quiet. Very portly clerk assured me the ones that he chose were what he installed in a relatives car. They were $40+ but that was ok with me if they met my goals. We tested them with fluid and they streaked and chattered slightly. Cleaned blades and glass and more fluid and seemed ok. Before the next rain, we left on a road trip as was the plan. Two states away and the first rain revealed chattering on the upswing and streaks on drivers side. Finally stopped at a Toyota dealer (car is a Lexus) and had blades installed for $30. Perfect performance in terms of clearing rain and silence. Weeks later back to the portlyclerk (will add his name as he may be the problem and not the business overall) saying it was over thirty days and only had bank receipt. Blades were clearly barely used. No return, no store credit, no apology. I am a lost customer who has told at least two dozen people about the poor customer service.

Usually have parts I need in stock or can direct me to others that do. So if you need that part that day it might be the first call to make when your best supplier, Oriellys has to order from warehouse for next day. Beware Advanced Auto which recently bought Carquest is a risky place to purchase from. If you check the net you will find that they are being sued by more people and other companies than any other and from my experience...with good reason. Greedily mismanaged from top down and they spend emense amount of $ creating digital systems to thwart their warranties so that managers will never have to accept responsibilities for failed parts and encouraged to restock broken and defective parts to sell as new knowing thatntge law of averages will allow them to get away with lowering expectation across the indudtry. FCP out of CN is a terrific place to orddr pRts from if you have Volvo, BMW, or Vw. All of their parts are garrunteed for the life of the car...yes even winsheild wipers and timing belts, brake pads an so on, and prices are comparable and staff very knowledable. They set the standard for parts suppliers. But they only supply for tbose three makes.
