Such a delight! Great Coffeehouse! GREAT!! One of my top 5 favorite visited coffeehouses (coffee fanatic here) and Crema Brew checks off all the marks... from the small town feel of family and community, the fresh and delicious taste of their brews and desserts/pastries, and the beauty of the employees and building in its history and remodel from the owners. They embraced the history of the building and its change to a coffeehouse and share it with their guest with albums, displays, decor and photos throughout the establishments. The owners and employees were very friendly and helpful and the place is well kept, clean and organized. Absolutely fell in love with this place and would highly recommend if in search of some coffee and pastries and a place to hangout and relax.

My new favorite place!! The staff was all so kind & welcoming! Honestly one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The bagels are delicious & the lemon bar was to die for. Will absolutely be back!!

Traveling thru. I have a dog so I appreciate the outdoor seating. The staff was really sweet. Live music outside. And the coffee was one of the best and strongest cold brews I’ve had in a long time. I did laundry next store and it’s was a great spot to kill time!

Wonderful coffee, positive attitudes, and homemade treats are the formula that makes some places good. Add the wonderful family that owns and works there, then you get a place that is excellent! I love how they greet EVERYONE with a smile, then proceed to make your day even better with a hand-crafted beverage and homemade baked goodie! Friendly and animated with clientele enthused to be there. Great cinnamon rolls and selection of teas. Have docked a star because I dont understand why a place of this caliber doesnt spread cream cheese on the bagel for you. I cant tolerate being given a tiny container of Philadelphia cream cheese which Im expected to spread with a frickin plastic knife. And charge fifty cents for the tiny container. I was surprised and would have ordered something else

Hands down the best coffee shop in our area. Yes, you have to wait a tiny bit longer than zipping through the dunkin line HOWEVER, you can taste the love and care put into each drink and pastry. And I love that small groups and Bible studies meet here as well! 💜

I have been meaning to visit this lovely coffee shop for a long time, ever since reading an article about it. It was such a treat! Walking in, the smell was absolutely wonderful! Very friendly staff and quick service compared to other small coffee shops. The atmosphere is just so warm and perfect for a New Bern business, and is a nod to the history of the area. This is on my list now of places to bring out of town guests! I got an iced raspberry white chocolate coffee and it was delish! I also adore their kindness mission for those who cannot afford to pay. This is a business I am thrilled to support.

This is one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to! The wife and I spent the day in New Bern and stopped by here for coffee and cookies. The Brown Bear Latte was delicious and the cookies are so good. We also had games at our table to play while we talked and snacked! Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a place to chill or even do some work.

This is a really cool coffee shop that offers many great food and drink choices. Their lattes taste amazing and they have home made breads and pies. We had the ham egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and they were really good. The salty caramel latte was amazing! The baristas are very friendly and they have games in the back room for entertainment. Plenty of outdoor seating outside and a good amount of seating inside. Highly recommended if you’re in the area or about to head out on a flight since it’s near the airport!

As soon as you enter the cafe, you are greeted with a smile. Great selection of bakery goods and coffee!

This place is amazing if you like good quality coffee go nowhere else if youre in New Bern. The owners are absolutely top notch Christian business owners. The coffee is delicious the service is fantastic, and they even let me get their coffee grinds for my compost pile. What a blessing from God to meet such good people and a good environment to enjoy a refreshment. 5+ Stars

I got the swiss bear! it was really good. didnt make me shakey like some coffee does, and was super yummy. love the atmosphere and the staff (who follow covid guidelines!!!). I also got one of their desserts. I forgot what its called but it was so yummy and the brownie was the base..and it was amazing.

What a lovely little place. We were told by locals that this place was amazing and when we finally tried it out, we were not disappointed. Coffee was delicious, breakfast was delicious, pastry was delicious and the staff is really great. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I just wish we had come here sooner.

What an awesome place! The coffee is delicious (you gotta try the Cinnamon Vanilla!) but what makes this place so special is the friendly barista staff! So glad to have this spot in New Bern!

Wonderful service from the staff. My husband and I stopped by from out of town and decided that if we lived in New Bern, this would definitely be our spot! Hands down the best latte in new bern! The espresso is rich and strong; freshly made for each order. The atmosphere is cozy and its quiet. Great place to work on a laptop or catch up with a girlfriend. The menu has plenty of options for coffee and tea with fresh bakery items also available. Ill be back, again and again!(Bagels are from Carolina Bagel💜)

Delicious food, coffee, smoothies and literally everything else on their menu. The staff is very friendly and generous, the atmosphere is great for meeting up with friends for coffee or for studying. Plenty of outlets for plugging in laptops for study/work purposes which is a must have at a coffee shop! A nice outdoor space as well. My favorite coffee shop around!

Was here today 5/29/2021 while the store and staff were pleasant the swiss bear latte was not good! I got mine iced but it was still very hot and all the ice melted so it became a watered down latte. So wont be back for the coffee BUT the chocolate chip peanut butter cookie was amazing

Fantastic and friendly service. I couldnt decide on my coffee so I asked for a recommendation and got the toffee. Fantastic choice. BlackBerry pie and a lemon bar, both amazing delights. Like a slice...nay a bar of heaven right into my mouth hole. Wife got a ham egg and cheese bagel. Smelled delicious. We were halfway through downtown when she let me try it...we turned around and got 2 more for my daughter and I. Worth it!

This coffee shop was AMAZING! First the building is super cozy, clean, cute. Very homey. When you walk in the smell hypnotizes you. The staff were warm and welcoming! They have a large variety of treats to eat. I ordered the Black Bear latte which was perfection! I also got a cinnamon roll and a banana nut bread which were both fresh and tasty. So glad we stopped by!

Mixed review. The good- great ambiance. Just what you want in a local coffee shop. The not-so -great- We got americanos to go and they tasted pretty bad. Not sure if it was a roasting thing or a grind/brewing thing, but sort of a burnt, unsweetened chocolate taste. The pastry cabinet looked amazing. But, when we opened the box in the car, the rhubarb coffee cake and the coffee cake were still frozen on the bottom. Would’ve been great had they been warmed up. The cinnamon bun was dry. We were hoping for a great cuppa coffee and pastries on a road trip, but this just didn’t deliver.

This is the first place I visited. Food was good. The people were very friendly!! Ill be back!!

Open just two weeks, Crema Brew has become one of my favorite places in New Bern for coffee, a quick lunch, and dessert treats. The place is nicely decorated and comfortable, and there is a good vibe among the people who visit here. This is a true mom and pop operation (and daughter). They renovated a former dry cleaner building and turned it into very comfortable and inviting place for excellent coffee, food, and company.Update one year later: Crema Brew has become our favorite coffee place and hang-out.

LOVE this place! Only one gripe. I have seen the same couple on numerous occasions come in without any kind of mask and they are not challenged. The mask rules should be followed without exception!

Crema Brew is the best coffee shop and bakery in New Bern. Their baked goods are made DAILY, and I love their cold brew and espresso drinks. The shop is run by the absolute sweetest family who just want to know you and love you from the moment you walk in the door. There is nice outdoor seating with umbrella coverings as well as various table sizes inside to share your drinks with any number of friends. If youre in New Bern, you MUST stop here!

I went to Crema Brew for the first time today after seeing how great their reviews were. Before I even made my way to the counter to order, I was greeted genuinely by everyone inside working. Theres a reason why they are rated so highly! They are incredibly friendly, the atmosphere inside is unlike anything in New Bern and the pastries are killer! I was in and out quickly, but I look forward to coming back to study and work sometime. I never do reviews but I wanted to be sure that they got the stars they deserve! First, they have an incredible coffee and pastry selection, then they KILL the atmosphere! Chic, rustic and relaxing!Definitely a great place to grab a brew and knockout some work on the computer.As a bonus they have a really cute outdoor patio area for a social pastry or two!

We enjoyed the outdoor cafe for a quick brunch. All coffee reports were good. They were out of ham causing egg and cheese bagelwiches to be the meal. They did have some good looking bakery items though. All in all we enjoyed our little meal in a cozy neighborhood.

Im new to New Bern and feared that I wouldnt find a replacement coffee shop that I loved as much as my hometown coffee shop. Well, I neednt have worried. I have my new coffee home! They are friendly, welcoming, and have options for people with food/dairy issues.

Nice decor and friendly staff. Stopped by to work during a visit to New Bern and all was fine, until the piano playing started. This just isn’t a good place to work and with a piano that anyone can get on without checking with others it makes the back room impossible to work in. I may stop by to take out but working here again isn’t any option.

After hearing so many wonderful reviews on our neighborhood email group, we finally found our way to Crema Brew this past week for lunch to see what all the fuss was about. We easily parked in the street by the cafe. It has a very cute and cozy atmosphere. It is cool that they have board games and cards - so definitely not trying to rush people. There also is seating outdoors. The owners were very welcoming. While a limited lunch menu, the “heavenly chicken salad” sandwich was just that. And the iced tea was very fresh. The pastries looked delicious, but we passed on it all. Next time!

Absolutely terrific! Very friendly people, great atmosphere! Everything on the menu is very tasty. All of it baked with natural ingredients. Some of the best cinnamon rolls and coffee around. Fair prices. Definitely better quality and taste than Starbucks, and cheaper too!
