I came here a few times and services were good until the owner hired a very rude bilingual receptionist. The people I know and that used to come to this location would always tell me how rude the receptionist was. I told my sister to go give them a shot and she was very disappointed and blamed me for sending her to a place where the receptionist was extremely rude and giving her attitude so she had to fire back and talk to her the way your employee was approcahing her. Karina you need to hire a better person. It looks like she doesn’t even want to work there because of how rude she is to your paying customers and her attitude. You are loosing business and gaining bad reviews on a business you worked hard for. Have you ever thought why new customers that go and don’t come back to you for service?

It’s convenient to have a optical store right in your neighborhood. They even have an optometrist in house who can check your eyes and prescribe glasses. I was very impressed by her expertise and diligence. The front desk staff were friendly and while the wait was long it was not unbearable. But they did something that flummoxed me. They put a hold on my insurance and so I was not able to use it at a different store where they had much better prices. So I’m taking one star off.

Love the doctor and wouldn’t want to leave a bad review but the receptionists are horrible and rude and can’t bear to talk with them on the phone or in-person. I went there twice in the last 3 months.Edit: Like I mentioned above, I had no problems with the doctor and had excellent service and I haven’t put in my order for the prescriptions I obtained after initial appointment so yes I returned to complete my eye exam + purchase. I changed my name for reasons nothing to do with OB. If you scroll further down the reviews, there are many comments about rude receptionists and that was experience from day 1. Wish you good luck!

This place charged me $80 on top of my $10 copay from my insurance. Apparently that’s the charge if this is your first time coming to that practice. I tried two different daily contact brands. I called to order the second brand... it would take a week to come in and they said I couldn’t have any samples because they gave me samples twice. I’ve worn contacts for almost 20 years and never had such terrible service and somehow got charged premium. Not sure how they are in practice. I will never go to them again.

I came here about a month ago so this review is long overdue. Anyways, I called in like usual and explained my situation that my glasses were broken and needed a replacement ASAP since I drive to work. They understood the level of urgency and gave me the closest opening date I can come by. Once I got there, everything went fine. The services were great. The really amazing thing they did for me was that they had my glasses ready to go the next day after I went in for my appointment. Usually, I wait 2 weeks for my glasses to be ready but because of my situation, they made sure to have them in ASAP. I would totally recommend this place. The staff is nice. The selection of glasses are great. 5/5 for sure.

I have been coming to this location for eyeglasses and contacts for a couple years now, including my sisters. I really feel comfortable with this eye doctor including the services provided by Karina, the owner. I know the procedures and trust them with eye care. The eye doctors are always respectful and knowledgeable of the eyes health. Prices are up to the customer, you could ask for any price range you are willing to pay. Additionally, timing for picking up eye wear isnt too long, which is good. I recommend this place to new customers who need eye wear and a trusting eye doctor.I will keep this eye doctor, thank you for your service!!

Karina and her whole team were great! I was in need of a new pair of glasses and was recommended to her boutique from a friend. Everything from the eye exam to ordering and picking up the glasses (which I am in love with ) was so easy! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I will definitely be a returning customer!!

Unlike my previous doctors, the doctor here actually listened and made sure I got a prescription strong enough to correct my severe nearsightedness. My new glasses allow me to see a level of detail I hadnt been able to in years. Great place.

I’ve been going to Optical boutique for about 3 years now since 2017, and I’m glad to say that I’ve never been disappointed. I usually arrive within 15 minutes before my appointment and they either attend me before my appointment time or at the time of my appointment. Staff is very attentive and my doctors... love them they are such sweethearts.

I have a high prescription and always have trouble finding a pair of glasses that don’t overpower my face. So thankful for my friend Jeannette’s recommendation of this place, she’s being going there for years.The place is super chic and staff is pure joy. The manager knows what she’s doing as she picked out a selection of frames to solve my high prescription problem and explained the available options. I just picked up my new pair on Thursday and I couldn’t be happier. I feel and look my cool self again.Thanks a bunches you guys!- Customer for life

I have been going to Optical Boutique for years now since I moved to New Brunswick and they have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and helped me when I had questions using my new health insurance. Karina is extremely pleasant and remembered me and my wife on following visits, that level of personal customer service is why I will continue to visit for all my eye wear needs!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place helped a panicking Bridezilla (me!) and saved the day. 🤦🏻‍♀️I was so busy with planing all of my wedding details that I almost forgot about opting out of my glasses for contact lenses, so that the timeless memories of my big day would be captured in photos without horrifying reflections. And when I tell you I cannot see without my glasses, I’m not exaggerating.Long story short, I called this place in a panic with little-to no time before the big day. Explained my situation and the lady on the phone squeezed me in that same week for a contact lense exam as it is different from regular checkup.Got my contact lenses, was shown how to use them, and all in time for my wedding. I got married in November and been honeymooning since. I had to make my way back and find time to tell my story of this fairytale experience. 😆👰🏻 ❤️- Happy Mrs

I’m a commuting businessman and my work travels took me to New Brunswick this past week. I had a meeting later that day and my eyeglasses temple/screw came loose. I stumbled upon Optical Boutique and the owner Karina couldn’t have been kinder, to go out of her way and help my distress. I was an out of towner, never have been to this place previously. In no time, she fixed up my glasses at no cost and I was on my way. Highly recommend this place. Thank you!

At first I was hesitant because of the location but after going there for years I love this place. Its not complicated, dont have to wait long. They are very efficient and straightforward with you from beginning to end. Karina is professional, understanding, and sweet. The doctor is laid back and doesnt give you any Bullshit responses or statements. Im always extremely content with my purchases and never feel forced to buy my frames, etc. (Karina is VERY helpful & honest). Optical boutique is the real deal. Short and sweet. Why four stars and not five? Nobodys perfect and theres always room for improvement. You wake up every day to be better not content. Keep striving Optical Boutique!

Ive came here twice before for glasses my most recent only Lens crafters made and stocked the frame, but I was still able to purchase them with this particular store... The doctor is great very friendly and informative would definitely be going back. Never had an issue and always delivered as promisedThe owner or front receptionist is the best

Do not like this place. They do not treat all customers equally. To some they assume you cant afford some glasses which is why they dont provide excellent services. I went there two weeks ago and this lady assume that I couldnt afford anything because she shown me cheap glasses. I requested to see other glasses but she said it would be too much for me. She also said I am not sure if its within your budget. I didnt ask for all that. I know how much glasses cost. This isnt my first eye doctor appointment. I definitely will find another eye doctor. They are too much to bare.

I almost didnt go because of the negative reviews... so glad I ignored them! I just needed a quick frame adjustment (the frames were from a different place) so I called to see if they do that for free. The woman I spoke to (Im fairly positive it was the owner... Karina?) said as long as they werent bought online and were from an optician that they could do it. I walked there and the place is beautiful! Very comfortable and I didnt mind waiting, which only took about 10 minutes. There were other customers and the phone was ringing off the hook so I wouldnt have minded waiting longer considering I was a walk-in. When it was my turn she was super nice, had me try them on, heated them up until they fit as snug as I wanted, and that was it. She even denied the tip I wanted to give for her being so helpful and wished me a good day. I cant imaging who said they had a rude experience but I for one had a lovely, albeit short, experience and wanted to write a review just so others get another opinion from someone that took the negative reviews into consideration.

This place is horrible, customer service is terrible and they are rude specially the attitude-full-having owner, and she treats you and see you as less if you are Hispanic!!. I called 11 times to see if my glasses were ready and they never responded. I had to call my bank to handle this manner for me. She stays lying! she told me I was not qualified for free glasses through my insurance this year or last year, which is a total lie since I called my insurance company and they advised me the opposite. Also, I am amazed that she is even allowed to still run a business. Yall have a long way and a lot to learn about customer service and how to treat people like human beings!. They are very unprofessional and no one should go here. Update: And by the way I am so not reviewing the wrong establishment lol.

It is not a good place, they treat you badly, they gave me the wrong glasses they put so much magnification, when I went for another appointment they treated me very badly then they called the doctor and he said he confused me with a person who had myopia, cataracts the glasses caused me a horrible headache, my eyes were red, besides they are not very professional they have no education I do not recommend this horrible place to anyone

I dont recommend this place to no body, they very unprofessional and they or most cancer my appointment because l ask them why 3 different people pass in from of my son and me after Been there for more than 90 minutes and no body was here went we came, we have appointments for 5:30 and is now 7:02 pm and we still here😡

When I first walked into Optical Boutique I noticed the Buddha in the front. Since I am a great believer, I expected positive energy and a warm welcome. Unfortunately, I recieved the opposite. Two of the women working there are very rude. They had the stingiest attitude. Its sad that many of their clients are hispanics, and it is obvious they take advantage. The owner also disrespected one of their own workers. Its sad and unjust that someone like her treats her clients so unfair. Were doing her a favor to give her business. As well as other clients, my glasses broke from the metal part. I do not recommend this eye care center for anyone. I do wish the owner the best of luck on her future (Karma is watching).

I am so happy with the service. The woman helping me was so helpful. I walked in, was taken care of immediately, got an appointment with doc right there and then, and the best thing is I got a great deal on my eyewear. I was bit hesitant to walk in after seeing one of the other reviews but never let someone elses opinion affect mine. Glad I took the trip - it was well worth it.

Extremely rude and seemingly untrained staff. Terrible on the phone with no understanding of the basics of customer service. Was hung up on multiple times. Glasses are overpriced compared to anywhere else on the web (I found the same model for about $80 cheaper) but I decided to buy them because I was under a time crunch. Glasses still arrived late.

She lied about everything saying that my insurance did not contact..........bull crap they contacted them and I even contacted the place for my eye glasses and she just lied. Will not recommend them to anyone with the way they handle business.

DONT waste your time going to this ghetto eye place. The owner is very rude and Walmart has a bigger selection. I bought eyeglasses here and they started peeling!!! Well they finally broke (the metal part) When I called for my prescription she said we dont give over the phone and when In explained I live an hour away and they shouldnt have broken; she was talking in russian to someone and ignoring me then when I was done talking she repeated herself and HUNG up on me. Very unprofessional store, go somewhere else trust me!

I think these guys are great! I went there last year to get a new prescription, and they were extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they didnt take my particular insurance for when I wanted to get my glasses themselves (my insurance did cover the examination). So I had to go to Lens Crafters to get the glasses themselves [that was a BIG mistake! The glasses I got from Lens Crafters were awful, and the frames broke literally within a month! Lens Crafters of course doesnt help you out with that whatsoever unless you had opted to buy their warrentee. Bah...But I love these guys! I got new insurance since last time, and now Im going back to get some new glasses.

Where is the education? One of the receptionists made sour faces at my mother-in-law when she was trying on some glasses. The receptionist wanted us to get out of there now and out of politeness I didnt want to say her words. “The customer is treated well.
