This CVS has the absolute worst customer service (in terms of timing). Our covid test was at 11:20 am - we arrived at 11:18, and we are STILL in this God-forsaken line at 2 pm! What in the slowest-workers-ever could these people possibly be doing? My sister is driving so I got out and went inside to see what is going on and the lines inside for the pharmacy were JUST as long! When I advised that we had been waiting for over an hour and could someone explain whats going on the woman who I was speaking with - and obviously had an attitude or something - responds with shes giving covid tests and I said it doesnt take an hour or more to take a covid test and she says well, Im not over there so I dont know. Yeah, no ish Sherlock, youre right here speaking with me! Rude. So I leave only to get back in the car and wait yet another hour. We still have yet to move to the front of the line. I wanted to leave but we need this test because we do not want to put others at risk of covid, even though we are almost 100% certain we are not positive for covid. Their customer service is utter trash. Ridiculous. I would not recommend coming here for anything if their customer service for this covid testing line is any indication of how this CVS runs.

They don’t even dessert a star don’t go to this place for a minute clinic they are the most rude and disrespectful people that I ever see I’m believe me I patiently wait for about 1 hour because the was “busy” to just respond a question, but all I got a really bad and disappointing answer SO SO SO RUDE! They even ask me to leave and go some other CVS slots are no available they say but in 1 hour that I spend there no 1 patients attend to the clinic. If you don’t like what you do, don’t do it CVS do it better

A lot of these reviews are a little unfair because they are complaining about things the store themselves cannot control. Yes they are understaffed, but it’s probably because the head cvs office don’t give them hours to have enough people every day. If there aren’t enough people, there’s no way that things are going to be done in a millisecond. I’ve been going to this pharmacy for a long time, and it’s very obvious how busy they are. I want my meds too but a lot of you have clearly never worked in the service industry because you would be a lot more understanding. Especially in this pandemic, I think the staff are doing a great job and they’re really nice!

This CVS is beyond a train wreck. The pharmacy has run me around in circles on the phone to avoid with nobody being able to answer my questions regarding my prescription. Then, the tried to overcharge me for my prescription and when I questioned it (its always the same price) the pharmacy tech gave me attitude. I have wasted hours of my life on hold waiting for the pharmacists consultation regarding a refill. The shelves are a mess. I waited OVER AN HOUR for a five minute flu vaccine. The list goes on and on. Shop somewhere else.

Tasha is the worst manager and truly doesn’t need to be in customer service...and healthcare customer service at all. I went to pick up a prescription that I dropped off three days ago for her to tell me they lost my prescription and do not have anything for me in the system. Her tone was very harsh, nasty and disrespectful. When I asked for her name she gave me her first name and stated I didn’t need her last name or the name of the employee who lost my prescription. Avoid this CVS. No wonder it has 2.1 stars. If you don’t enjoy working with people or in healthcare, do something else without human contact. Additionally, I suggest contacting corporate.

After having a bad experience with the other local CV, I finally find a store who has more than one employee, they had many. The tall, young guy with locs took his time and stopped what he was doing to help me. He even gave me the number to call back. I called corp. to give positive feedback & couldnt get to the corp. mgr. The mgr who called back was from another state. If I ever visit CVS again, as I had another bad exp. leaving that store at another location, Ill go back to this store.

I was awaiting for my prescriptions and shopping for other products, and paid for all products at the pharmacy checkout, was approached outside of the CVS by the City of New Carrollton Police officer waving his hand to stop entering while approaching my vehicle. The office asked why are they inside there (CVS STORE Supervisor or Manager) saying you in there stealing?.The officer then requested to see receipt and drivers license, without hesitation I gladly provided and responded to the question of stealing I am sixty years old and have never stole anything.The officer said I see that. The person whom appeared to be a supervisor or manager came outside, lit a cigarette and paced back and forth as the officer handed back the receipt and drivers license . THis was embarrassing and unjust, and I will not shop at this CVS ever again. Please train employees on the proper protocol of suspicious activity, customer care and professionalism.

This is the worst CVS in the area. The stars are a reflection of the service. I went to get a COVID-19 test and had a scheduled appointment. They were only taking appointments via the drive-thru (fair) but the drive-thru line was literally to the road. I called the manager of the store and he basically said it aint my problem. Please, Please, Please do not go to this CVS for your personal, medical or pharmacy needs.

Pharmacy NEVER picked up my phone calls! I called all afternoon to update the status of my prescription which was time sensitive, and was never able to get through. I couldn’t just drive there because I live 30 minutes away and my newborn was sick and I couldn’t take him with me. To say the least, this caused me to get extra bloodwork done in order to fill my prescription because of its time sensitivity. I lost money and time because of negligence. Would not recommend this place if you are looking for competent personnel.

If it was possible to give negative stars I would do it in a heart beat. They don’t pick up calls and when they do they hang up. Stop opening more pharmacies when you’re obviously are short staff. Long drive thru lines, long lines inside...it’s ridiculous. The medicine here isn’t even cheap. I would take my business else where.

Im literally parked in the back parking lot of this cvs because I had to share my experience. Im not sure if the people who work here read this but the chick at the pharmacy, Devon, was seriously so helpful & nice! Ive been coming here for a long time & I hope I continue to see her face when I pick up my prescriptions. Great job, Devon! Its hard finding people who are as professional as you just were in our interaction.

Terrible customer service by the pharmacist today. I dont know her name but she is a young black lady probably in her late 20s or early 30s, very slim and tall. She was rude when I asked her a question. I repeated what she said when I was looking for something and she asked me rudely Are you listening? I repeated back to her what she said and she kept on walking away and served another customer.

This Pharmacy is the worst. Been in line for 20 minutes. Technician that was ringing the register just left and started filling leaving a line of people. Line not moving at all. Technician walked past the line of people to handle drive thru. Technicians arguing back and forth and while Im typing this, Im still waiting. Finally. Pharmacist had to stop what he was doing to ring the register. Very unprofessional

I usually always get my prescriptions filled at CVS but here recently it seems that ALL CVS pharmacy staff are all rude and disrespectful! This 1 particular pharmacy did it in for me I WILL NO LONGER BE FILLING ANY OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS AT A CVS AGAIN!! The head pharmacist today told me that it was too early to get my 1 medication filled that I had to wait 2 days. I explained that I was aware of this that I already contacted the insurance company and received the approval for an over ride. However they needed the pharmacist to call them for the approval. The pharmacist asked why I needed it filled early. I didnt feel that I had to explain why but did so anyway ( was going out of state for a family emergency). The pharmacist then told me that he didnt have time to fill it that I needed to take it to another pharmacy! How rude!!! If Im not mistaken I believe that this is part of their job!! CVS CORPORATE NEEDS TO SEND ALL THEIR EMPLOYEES TO A TRAINING COURSE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY ALL NEED IT!!

Good experience. Very professional and friendly staff. The pharmacy usually is very busy but equally efficient. There was a minor incident where another customer was angry about something and started getting loud with a young employee. A lead pharmacist calmly walked over and deescalated the incident so smoothly and quickly, it was amazing! I think her name is Tiffany.

The young lady on the phone in pharmacy was so abrupt and disconnected. She also hung up on me. I have had other issues prior to this call. It is unfortunate because this CVS had some really helpful and customer service employees. It is unfortunate because there is such a wide area of people that this store is accessible to so they should be so much more personable. Perhaps the ethnicity and culture of this area is determining the type of service they provide. Id prefer to spend the gas and watch the store close.

I went in here to get a metro card for my bus ride. Firstly, the staffs were not too knowledgeable about this process. Secondly after buying a weeks bus pass, it stopped working 2 days later.I went back to have it rectified and they didnt know what to do. I was disappointed and also not happy with how the situation was handled considering almost $30usd was paid for the whole thing. They did confirm the purchase, since I had a receipt, but couldnt refund asking me to go to metro for it to be sorted.Well, it may not have been their fault, but I feel the staffs could have been more enlightened about the process.

Went to this CVS because I had a sore throat and it had a Minute Clinic. Signed into the electric kiosk then went to look for a seat nearby. The seats were fabric and had lots of stains on them. Management should replace all of them with vinyl covered chairs or something where the filth isnt immediately noticeable. Once called into the patient care room the nurse was nice and seemed knowledgeable. Ultimately she referred me to the Bowie Health Clinic.

I just visited this CVS on Friday(9/4/2015); however a lady that worked in the pharmacy was really rude and disrespectful to me. I really did not appreciate that nor did I deserve that. I will not be returning to this CVS pharmacy location at all. This pharmaceutical technician needs to really be checked out on her customer service skills. I was really disappointed by the behavior of this store pharmaceutical technician employee. Today I made an order for a few photos I wanted to print. I made the order around 11A.M. I got an email saying the pickup time would be at 1:15. So I went to go pick them up around 2. I stood there waiting for at least 10min until someone came to ask me what I needed. I told him that I was here to pick up my photos. And he told me “Yeahh, ummmm.. The machine is not working”When you make a damn order to print photos, they have your email and phone number! Why didn’t I get anything saying the pictures were not going to be printed due to the machine not working? I needed those photos today. Definitely never printing out my photos there AGAIN! Oh and don’t get me started on the rude ass employees, worst CVS i’ve ever been to!

This store is new and clean. The cashiers are generally good and friendly. However, photo print quality is not good. The print is dark. I complained that photos are dark but they dont agree with me and dont fix the problem. Then, I printed the same photos from Qoop who printed high quality, satisfactory photos. I dont use the photo from CVS for passport. Still it is good for casual printing.

Okay my daughter needed a quick pysical completed for her volleyball tryouts she had coming up on tommorrow. Her primary doctor could not see her before the tryouts so I decided to use the minute clinic. I have never used it before. Let me start with why in the world do they call it the Minute Clinic. It should be called the Whenever They Get To You Clinic. We waited for hours to be seen by a physician who than told us that we had to have the history form completed and that she needed to be wearing shorts for the sports physical. HOW WOULD WE KNOW THAT!!!! Also, even though we completed the registration on the internet before arriving we had to complete another registration using a very slow processing kiosk. Not to mention the physician bed side manner was barely pleasant. Oh dont let me forget the price on line was different than the actually price. It was $10.00 higher. All in all I will never use the minute clinic again. My suggestion is for you not use it either. I wish I could rate this experience below one star. 😔😔😔

Generally I love going to this CVS but recently they put a new lady which is so RUDE!!! ... she is usually the one handling the Drop-Offs and my god her customer service is terrible ... We have been going for a prescription pick up back and forth for 5 days and Im still waiting and their part to send the fax to the doctor for approval... and her attitude is not a big help either.. Im considering a transfer somewhere else.

One of the worst places ever. I watched the pharmacist stand and berate a woman publicly, while she stood crying, accusing her of trying to cheat the system, despite her telling him over and over again that he was using the wrong insurance and she had a new plan. The lines are usually very long; even if theyre not, youll wait a painfully long time just to be treated rudely. This CVS is less than 5 minutes from my house, yet I chose to drive 15 minutes to a different one because the service here is so bad.

I visited this store today (12/31/15) morning and I never ever seen such kind of horrible customer service. The name of that employee is segun or sugen he is so rude. I have asked him check the price of two simular items with different prices so that I can take one of them. However he rejected my question and told me to go the price check machine and come back have another line. Then I said give me both and I have to go. He said I will not sell for you. I left his line and go to the other cashier waited new line and after the other cashier ringed my staffs he told him not to sell for me and said leave the store. I said I will not leave the store he said I will call a police I said please do it now. Then he told him to ring for me. This was the story. I wonder he dont know what kind of service he suppose to give to his customers he disrespect people how he can say leave the store ? did he own it. It is shame to have such kind of staff (I dont know if he is manager). But this type of service is totally unacceptable. And below the standard I will never be back to this store any more.

Was accused of shoplifting here simply because I was putting my items in a reusable shopping bag. Employee grabs all my stuff and threatens to call the police, even though I was making no attempt to conceal my items and one of them was 16 rolls of toilet paper, not exactly something I can walk out the door with unnoticed.Lesson: CVS hates reusable bags and would sooner accuse one of their customers of shoplifting than accomodate them. Never shopping here again.
