Came in for a flat tire repair and left with 4 new tires due to some quirky corporate policy regarding differential tread depths. Would have taken it to a different shop but it was already 1pm on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. Firestone knows how to empty your wallet and know you will not say no when they do. In fact, they have all the scripts ready to answer your whys and painted a picture they are doing it for your safety.

Would of given them a negative 50 if I could the manager I horrible, very condescending. They did not have the equipment to put my tires on. My vendor simple tires set up for the to be sent to the new location, they refusedd to release my tires then began to speak disrespectful. Long story short went to release them, this guy puts my tires outside and called the police because refused to leave the store until my property was secure. Left and waiting for simple tires to deal with him thru corporate

They also respected my car by not leaving behind oils and dirt and wrapped my good tires that I wanted to keep in plastic bags (needed spares and I saved money because they didnt have to recycle them). Just had an excellent experience. I bought new shoes aka 4 tires for my new Mini Coop. They carried run flats in stock. I was in and out in 2 hrs and they checked the rest of my car for issues. Came in today after leaving the Tire Rack Distribution Center down the street to have my passenger rear tire replaced on my brand new VW (stupid screw in sidewall). Manning the desk was Austin, who provided outstanding customer service, and had me out of there in less than 45 mins! Great job and kudos to this shop!

I stopped by there because my car was indicating low tire pressure. The guy was very professional in adding the air to all 4 tires. He did the same thing for a lady that was in front of me. Dropped off my truck for a tire alignment. It turned into a $370 job. They didnt even call me that the job was done. I had to call them to find out I could pick up my truck. If I wasnt going on a vacation in 2 days I would have told them to pound sand.

Firestone knows their tires. Thought I had something in my tire, ended up being a valve stem sensor!

I took my car to firestone for high mileage oil change and overall inspection to identify if any other items needs to be taken care of. I drop my car off for a 7am appointment. I called firestone around 12:30pm to see if my car was ready and I was told they could not do the oil change because my low oil light was on and no matter what they did the light would not go off. Also the dip stick reading showed no oil in the car, and my engine was making a noise. So when my husband and I pick up the car, I told the manager that the low oil light was not on when I drop the car off, and the car was not making any noise. so I dont understand way he cant change oil. So he want and check and see if the low oil light was on and come back and said the light was not currently on. The manager than said oh by the way you need a new battery soon also because it failed the test. The manager give a paper that said my battery was can start my car but the battery charge is below the recommend range. The manager then told me that if he did change the oil and something happen then he would be on hook to buy me new engine so that why they could not change oil. There was no charge for today and they pull my car out of the bay. They hand me the key and my car will not start. Firestone had to jump my car, so we could leave. Today my husband did the oil change. My husband said that drip stick showed that I was a quart low on oil, but I had oil in my car. Also the engine cover under the car had a lot of oil in it and a couple of screws was missing and it was pushed up. However the nut/bolt for the oil pan was tight and the valve cover or something bolts was also tight. My husband was unable to identify where the oil came from and if I had oil leak.

Manager is a joke. He is loud and obnoxious. When he finally waited on me he spoke to me briefly then went running after another customer. He then was dealing with the other customer who had to remind the manager I was waiting.Never again! Poor customer service.

Theyre, fast and had me in and out on a day when surprise got a screw in my tire. good job

The manager, Joe, went above and beyond in my case, helped me out tremendously and made what was a horrible and difficult situation bearable. His crew knows their job and were pros. My sister had a slow leak in her tire on Sunday we took it into Firestone and the manager was oh so kind. He wasnt able to repair the tire, but he put the spare tire on my sisters car, at no charge, he gave her a quote for 3 New tires which were much less then a her regular tire dealer. This is one of my favorite locations. I have taken my car to here for the past decade. The surrounding area is quite busy so I would not suggest site seeing while you wait for your vehicle. But the waiting area in store is nice. Has TV, bathroom, wi- fi, water cooler and coffee to help keep you comfortable/busy. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Had an issue with the time I was waiting but it was due to a part being delivered from an outside vendor. Manager voluntarily gave me a pretty nice discount for the wait.

My wife had a large spring stuck in her tire as she came off the interstate. We pulled in and the guy looked at it and didnt try to sell us on a new tire but instead said he could fix it at a very reasonable price. Service was quick and polite without pushing additional service. We will definitely be back!!

By calling ahead and checking when their best sale is and scheduling the tire installation I beat BJs best sales price. Plus these guys are pros when it comes to alignment if you need it and they will tell if you dont need it! They also checked for all the routine maintenance stuff and offered great prices on that stuff.

Have been going here for a couple of months now. They give me a breakdown of what the issues are. They give me options and recommendations but I never feel like my back is against the wall. They work fast and super helpful.

From the manager to the mechanics...these guys are honest and do great work. They deliver great customer service and have not ripped off anyone that I have referred to them. Give these folks a try if you want excellent work at a fair price.

Almost 4 months ago I had a simple leak on front brake line. So I decided to stop by thinking this would be a rather simple repair. One of the mechanics came out and took a look at the car. I showed him where the leak was at. Let me preface this by saying Im not a certified mechanic, but Ive worked on brakes for years. When I got back into the office a mere 30 feet away. The mechanic and the Mgr discussed what was wrong just out of ear shot from me.In his assessment he listed a myriad of things from a ceased piston on a caliber (which by the was only for months old) to a list of others which included my original complaint came out to an almost a $500.00 bill. I guess the Mgr heard the tone of my voice along with the sarcasm when I questioned the assessment along with the price. He tried to bless me with a $300.00 to $400.00 amount. I told him that was ridiculous being his guy never so much as loosened a lug nut to truly assess the problem. I grabbed my keys and went over the Advance Auto store bought some brake fluid and went back home.The next day I went to my usual mechanic and for less than $100.00 both brake lines were replaced. All the other equipment was just fine. I did call the regional office and file a complaint. This event was very reminiscent of a previous issue with another store of theirs 25 years earlier. Just shows you the people may change but game doesnt. NEW CASTLE RESIDENTS BEWARE!!! I would give zero stars but unfortunately you cant, but 5 stars for the attempted con.

Developed a hole in our tire driving south on 295 on Sunday morning in Jersey. We were losing air fast. This store came up on Google maps 5 minutes away. I called to let them know we were on our way. Shawn found the hole in the tire right away and the tech took our car right in to fix the tire.The waiting area is clean and comfortable.We were back on the road quickly and the repair was guaranteed.

I have a 2011 Kia Sorento, it had Front End Issues. Took it the New Castle Firestone store and they Did a EXCELLENT JOB. Did NOT Try and sell my things I did not need. Again just a fantastic bunch of people.Worth every Penny and to be able to TRUST someone today is PRICELESS.

Going to this firestone was one of the worst decisions Ive ever made in my life. They put the incorrect oil in my car without dexos, which caused my car to start acting strange and the check engine light came on.I took it to another mechanic and they told me it was probably the oil. When I took it back here, the managers at this site told me that since another mechanic looked at the car and turned the check engine light off, they wouldnt look at my car because it was worked on by another mechanic.After an analysis of the oil it was determined to be the incorrect type, and I spent about $800 getting my car repaired. All because I thought this firestone could do an oil change correctly. Going here was one of the worst decisions Ive ever made. Dont go here.

Couldnt believe how expensive the prices were compared to just about any other place.

My husband bought a full set of ram truck tires just before his stroke, then the truck sat and two developed problems. They honored the warranty immediately no problem even though it had been a while since purchase. There was also a confused elderly gentleman who had his car towed in because the oil light flashed when starting up. I overheard the conversation and they treated him the way I would want my elderly parents treated. The only reason I am giving 4 stars not 5 is because this place is so popular they get backed up quickly. Definitely recommend an appointment

They have failed me on numerous occasions. But the last failure was the last straw. I went there for a simple plug for a slow leak. (their was a nail in my tire. And I visually confirmed it). When I came back to get my car .. They told me, their was no leak.. But we found a nail in your tire. I knew something was weird at that pt. After driving it around for a day... I noticed my cars tire was ALL THE WAY Flat. ... D these idiots removed the nail from my tire... And never actually patched the leak. Which in turn... Turned my slow leak into a full on leak. Smh.. ..The level of incompetence from a tire shop is literally unacceptable. Dont waste your time with them.

I had to replace a tire. I lucked out with timing, because I was in and out in less than an hour. Since they dont take appointments, you can wait much longer if theyre busy.I received a survey from them that made me realize I wasnt given the options or attention the company expects, i.e. courtesy fluid check, explanation of bill, etc. That was a bummer to find out. Otherwise, Ive taken my cars there for years, as I do think theyre straight up and fair.

Welp. I left after an oil change, wheel alignment, & new set of tires. 3 days later I get a message on my dash in ref to my oil. I went back, the manager was very nice. He had someone check & there was no oil in the reservoir!!! The new mechanic asked if my car leaked oil. Nope, never and this isnt 1 of the Toyotas that had that problem. Im still a firestone fan, because Ive never had issues with them with any of my other vehicles, but Im definitely leery of them now.

Got there an hour before closing, explained my 2015,dually 3500 had lost all brakes. Told me they could look at in morning. Slept in truck was there at 7 am as requested only to be told the 10,000 lift they had wouldnt support a 3500 dodge, which weighs 7300 lbs stock (mine has no bed at all so its closer to 7000 lbs)staff is lazy and does not care to put people in danger. I went to midas right around corner much more pleasant people and their 10000 lb lift will lift a 7500 lb truck. Buyer Be Ware!!!

Theres a manager here that really has no CS skills. Makes me weary about giving FS my business/ money. I try to avoid him and his mechanic buddy everytime I have to get my vehicle serviced. Sometimes Ill drive all the way to belvedere where I know Ill be treated respectfully and not over charged.

This team is great! My a/c has been giving me problem after problem and this group did not stop until they found a solution. They have been friendly and responsible and have treated me with complete respect.

Cant vouch for and other Firestone location but the one in New Castle, De. Very slow and dont like taking every vehicle that comes in alway say the dont have the equipment to do that job. So unless you only have a credit card for there, or you cant get anywhere else, I would avoid going there but thats my opinion.

Beware of this location! I was quoted $90 to mount and balance 2 brand new tires purchased from Tire Rack. Not low profile tires!!! I told them no thanks. I went around the corner to Pep Boys and had it done for $30. They will rip you off if you let them.

So many things went wrong: first of all we went in only to get a complete car package done for the car, which cost $9.99 and that’s all, but when we got there they had did an oil change, blew out a new head light bulb that was working before we dropped it off. When my spouse got there to pick up the car they basically told him there was nothing they could do. After reluctantly paying so we can get the car keys, we end up calling to speak to the manager. The person who answered the phone was not the manager, but we explained our situation and Conveniently he said the manager was not there and then hung up on us while we were still talking. How rude and unprofessional!

Refuse to work on my car after they couldnt run up my bill for things that I did not need .. and if your car was in there garage at this location make sure you have some one else to check it make sure if its safe to drive.

Dont like that they automatically check every other thing on your car besides what you are there for (in this case, I was there for new tires). On one occasion they mentioned I needed a new battery...I actually just had a brand new one installed a month or two prior. They said sometimes their equipment makes a mistake & makes an incorrect reading. Hmmmm, sounds a little fishy to me😞
