Really cool farm with many things to do. Fun little corn maze, working animal farm with many buildings to explore and grounds to visit. Its also in a weird complex with a nice market, a beer garden, disk golf, I think a college, and some other random stuff. A weird hodge podge but kind of something for everyone. Could easily spend a few hours there and not get board.

Kids had fun in the corn maze and then got a pumpkin after. The store has a lot of good food. On a different day my husband and I got lunch there and bought a bunch of baked goods after that.

We went for a Homeschool Group field trip to learn about cider making. I havent been there for a long time. It is absolutely breathtaking. So many different buildings and places to see. All very clean and well kept. It honestly looks like pictures from a postcard. Old brick buildings, huge beautiful barns with animals, pastures, orchards, vegetable feilds and even houses set back in the woods with ponds. Picture perfect. The white fencing everywhere makes it all come together. Also, the employees at the market are so friendly and nice!! The market commons/deli makes very delicious sandwiches as well as other food. I highly recommend going for a visit. Ill definitely be back for pictures this fall and to grab the items only farmers markets carry.

If you are looking for classic Maine, rural, farm views, bring your camera. Rolling hills, white fences, white barns and cows grazing will provide you with plenty to photograph. Families will benefit from the educational programs. Our grandchildren have milked cows, made applesauce, walked the story walk and explored the Fall corn maze. The market offers fresh, locally-sourced products and delicious sandwiches. Yes, you will need to check your order, as others have said. I dont know if it is the volume of orders that overwhelms or if they are using their employment practices to help give people a hand up at learning job skills but our special orders have often been tad off. Ill eat most everything that isnt moving so Ive never had a problem but my finicky grandchildren are a different story. No, the market is not Walmart and you will not find blue light specials in aisle 5, but you will find Maine products at comparable prices to other specialty locations.Fall colors are simply breathtaking. Do not miss the immaculately-manicured gardens if you are a landscaping, flower, plant enthusiast. We have not been in the winter. Winter people tell me its wonderful. We are not winter people. We tend to hide in the winter months wondering, why do we choose to live here?

Pineland farms is a huge farm facility in New Gloucester maine. Unity college is also located on the farm property. There is a farm store on site where you can purchase many Pineland farms products made on site including meats, cheeses, and produce. There products are top of the line. On the Pineland farms estate also sits one of the best disc golf courses in maine. The maine state disc golf championship was held here last year. Pros like Simon lizotte and garret gurthie were here to play. Its a fabulous property and the public are welcome. There is also a nice disc golf pro shop to get the newest discs in your bag.If this review was helpful please hit the thumbs up ty

I can’t say enough about Pineland Farms. I booked a personal farm tour for my Moms birthday followed by lunch at the market and ended with a garden walk. This place is amazing. Our tour guide Christine could not have been better. She was personable and taught us so much about farm life we had never known. It was like we had a close friend giving us a tour of her life on the farm. The market was gorgeous and had incredible food. We ended with a garden series, which was a walk with snacks and beverages through a beautiful well kept garden. If you had any questions about the pants, they were answered with more than enough info to be able to grow them yourself. If you come to Maine, I encourage to check out Pineland Farms and all it’s activities. If what you want is not listed, call them. They may be able to make it happen. This place is a true Maine treasure.

If you are wondering if you should visit, it is a fantastic place to visit and bring the family. Something fun for every season. I used to work on this campus at the Y and I always loved spending my Saturdays here. From the trails and disc golf and story walk to the delicious treats in the market you wont be disappointed. Great sledding and cross country skiing in the winter as well. Plus check out the YMCA! Its fantastic, they even have bowling!

Took advantage of a sunny winter Sunday to go to Pineland for some snowshoeing. It is easy to park at the welcome center, rent equipment and get passes, and hit the trails. They have a good volume and variety of equipment for rent so you can try a new sport if you would like! Their website gives daily trail condition reports so you know what to expect. Its great to have a tea and snack at the welcome center café after a day outside.

This was an awesome find and we just stumbled upon it heading to the wildlife park. The Marketplace store/restaurant is awesome. It was a learning experience and I just loved it.

Food is excellent! Had lunch at the Marketplace several times and the sandwiches and soups have been top notch. The produce looks like it was picked that day. Took a chance on a frozen steak for the grill. Though expensive, it turned out to be well worth the price. Best steak of the summer! Nice gift shop with a lot of local items including wine. While youre there visit the flower gardens just on the other side of the highway. Look for the white garden fence. We stop every time as the flowers are always at a different stage as the summer progresses.

Cute market but deli counter can use some improvement. Gave my order twice to the woman in person, watched her scribble the order down on the ticket and somehow the person who fulfilled the order screwed up. I asked to omit the cheese and add maple mustard so nothing over the top complicated but alas, I ended up with cheese and no maple mustard.Management: Staff can be more attentive. Had a customer had actual serious allergies, thats a lawsuit waiting.
