Shop to late for Halloween for what I wanted. But it still had some things for kids but not really for the adults. They should stock up for the late comers. Its Party City. They should always have stuff

I try to return a Halloween item but i did not have my reciep they could not. they dont have the system to scan my credit card as a proof that i got the item from the store. Totally crazy now i have to keep the item that i dont want.

On Sunday mornings the store will let you in as early as 9 AM!The sign on the front door will say they open Sundays at 10 AM, but you can definitely go in at 9 AM if you knock on the door!

All the items you buy here will not be in perfect condition. It will be scratched. I bought two 16 inch golden trays that had a few scratches on them when I bought it. I didn’t end up using it, so I tried to return it. He said that it was used and scratched therefore I cannot return it. I tried to explain that this is how I received the item and it was not used at all. He wouldn’t listen to me at all and wouldn’t let me speak. I had other items that were not used whatsoever and he made the same statement about them. I moved in the area 6 years ago and I always came to this party city but this experience made me not want to ever return. The customer service at this store is the WORST. Will never be returning here.

This place has it all and then some. Stuff I wouldnt think of or knew about. Many Disney theme items, full on rainbow color choices to match a whole outfit. Costumes, Pinatas, balloons and candy. Yeah, pretty much a one stop show to get the party started. They even had Chinese new year stuff. Very cool to explore.

Before COVID-19 and as we Phase back into the new normal, we have always preferred this Party City. From our experience, it is clean, organized and the staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful. They also have great suggestions to give. Now, more than ever they practice safety while still providing excellent customer service. Thanks Party City New Hyde Park. Great work!

They had alot of balloons out of stock. No deals for balloons were suggested.

I ordered some balloons online on 6/20/2020 and selected New Hyde Park as my pickup location. These balloons were for my sons graduation on 6/26. I received my order confirmation email, and also a reminder email to pick up my order at the location on 6/26. I arrived at the store 10 mins early and waited for them to open to collect my order. Upon entering the store, I gave my order details and was advised that they did not see any order. I was subsequently advised that my order was cancelled because they didnt have the balloons I ordered in stock. I asked why I did not receive an email regarding the cancellation and that question remains unanswered. I checked to see if my money was refunded and it wasnt so I had to contact customer service to request a refund. I am very disturbed by my encounter, and would think that after being closed for several months because of the pandemic, that stores would want to ensure that they provide great customer service. This is not the first time Ive received unprofessional and poor customer service at this store and I will now think twice about placing online orders with the company in the future, since they are clearly unreliable.

Curbside pickup doesnt work. No one ever picks up the phone. Website and the app canceled your orders multiple times. When pulled up to the front employees just having a good time seating outside. This place should not be in business!

Party city has a variety of supplies. I went looking most recently for unicorn- themed bday party supplies for my daughter and there was plenty from which to choose. Theyre all ready for Halloween right now. And Ive gone many years for Purim costume supplies in the spring as well. Prices are moderate (reason for 4 & not 5 stars), & supplies are relatively easy to find.

In one word Overpriced. Its the only party supply store in the area and theyre unaffordable. Needless to say Dollar Tree on Middle Neck Road is definitely taking a lot of their business. They use to have good one dollar cards here, and since I was here getting a card, Id also pick up a gift bag, balloons, and a ribbon. Now even the balloons I go to Dollar Tree for. I love to walk around Party City exploring, but its unaffordable to purchase here, and would only do so in an extreme emergency situation.

Prices seem high but no other place has selection like them.

Its Party City, your party superstore! Was a bit busy/crowded the weekend before Thanksgiving and the staff was pleasant and efficient working to make sure that we shoppers were enjoying our experience.

Update:Shopped here yesterday, 1/22/2019.I had ordered some items for in-store pick-up, so other than finding some additional items I wanted to purchase, picking up my order was easy and there was no problem whatsoever.More cute sunglasses for kids from various franchises, and even more organized than I came here last time--which is very necessary in a big, colorful place like this!Also! They have a small cards selection and even some LGBT+ cards and decorations! They had a great selection of party accessories for my childs birthday party. We were able to get full sets of the characters that were needed. The staff was very helpful and pleasant, stop by if your in the area and ate looking for supplies for your childs next birthday or get togethers.

This is a large store located a mall on New Hyde Park road near Union turnpike that specializes in costumes and party accessories including paper plates cups and utensils. They have pool toys, balloons, candy and anything else you would need to throw a nice party. The staff is friendly. There is a large parking lot.

They had exactly what i was looking for. I picked up some angel wings for a costume. Price was reasonable. Staff was pleasant.

Went to Party City in NHP, NY . Not enough employees for amount of people in that store . No one on the floor to answer questions. Checkout setup is weird ; you have to see a cashier to pay for balloons & then make another line to receive your balloons . Only problem is the guy blowing up the balloons wants to do anything but blow up balloons . Party City wouldnt it be cost effective if each cashier does their own balloons . You wouldnt always have a backup of lines. You then could have 2 tanks of helium & free up that employee.

Terrible service !Unlike other party city location, they were not capable of making the ballons the way i always get, and they were not happy to service me as a customer!!

It was unacceptable how I got charged for something that I did not receive. I bought two 5 pack balloons back in July where it was including the helium price as well where it said it right on the shelf tag. So when I went to the store this month to get them blown up, the store had no helium. However I had to go to shop rite for them to blow up the balloons I purchased from party city for an extra charge. Which was totally not right for me to pay the extra. I go back to party city to complain about being charged for the helium and I was told that no matter what you pay for the balloons, it’s the same price for with or without helium. That’s totally not even fair or right to show customers that it includes the helium price which clearly it doesn’t.

A huge selection of balloons and other party supplies. Despite what I read in the other reviews, the workers were helpful enough and even informative and considerate.

Items are over priced but they have all the diposable products for your party needs. FYI -- They dont carry hot beverage cups.

Two stars simply because the staff were in a cluster complaining about having to work and help people, while I stood next to them waiting for one of them to help me get a pinata down. Otherwise its like any other party city - Having all the items you want at price youre not always willing to spend.

A very nice and well kept store where everything is pretty easy to find and salespeople are there to help. Checkout line got long but extra cashiers jumped in quickly to help.

Very fast even as close to Halloween the store had alot of people and they aere able to help everyone and get them out as well

I bought three balloons and one was clearly not inflated enough. I went back in the store to ask the worker to put more helium in and they just said it’s because it’s cold outside. It was only the one balloon with the problem but they insisted on saying that it’s because it’s chilly outside. It’s been about an hour since I got home and it looks as if I had the ballon for over a week already. Is it really that hard to just put more helium in the balloon? Customer service was very poor.

Couldnt find anything to be for Halloween. They have the same costumes, year after year.

They over inflated the latex balloons, even after I said something. And they all popped by the time I made it 10 minutes away to my home. However I called and I got a refund.
