Love that the hotdogs are beef and the chili was good too. Thought the shrimps would have been bigger but they were good

Today I had the hot dog with chili and cheese. It was so good. Chili is homemade and the wiener isn’t one of those icky cheapo weenies. Toasted French bread bun. Bun does soak up chili fairly quickly so if you’re not going to eat it immediately, you may want to ask for the chili in a separate cup to add later. Just a tip. I’ve also eaten their excellent burgers, fries, BBQ on Sundays, and salads. So delicious. If you order ahead, it helps. Give them 20 minutes if you call ahead. Support local businesses because local dollars stay local. To the guy who said food was average and generic, must be trippin. This food is above average compared to fast food. It is also prepared to order, not sitting out. Psh...

The food is great. It is the snowballs that could use some help. They are just cups of ice.

Everything is so fresh! You might catch a line here with the drive through but if you forget to order ahead its worth the wait! Also, if you would like to park theres a nice cool covered patio area to keep you out the weather!

I love Caribbean Ice, the food is always great and the drive through is relatively fast. $20 will feed my girlfriend and I with leftovers for her big poor dog. Lol

Slowest and worst service in town. Ordered a cone and a milkshake, waited 10 mins and saw them serve ice cream to the family that was after us in line when I inquired the lady at the counter was very rude, and unhelpful, waited another 10 minutes watching as they continued to serve patrons that came up after us with various ice cream orders. Finally had enough and requested a refund and took my business to the marble slab creamery around the corner which had a much friendlier staff and super quick service, we won’t be returning to this poor excuse for an ice cream stand

The only above average food item they have is the chicken salad sandwich, other than that nothing is really spectacular. Generic “fast food” & generic quality. They’d maybe get a three or four star rating for originality as their little shack is quite homey and has a nice seating area. However, no matter what you order or how you order it, you’re going to be waiting for at least twenty to thirty minutes for your food. I’ve placed an order through waitr, waited ten minutes, driven fifteen minutes and STILL had to wait about twenty minutes for my food. In my opinion it just isn’t worth it.TLDR; almost everything is average. Long wait times for your food.

The best barbecue I ever had!

Yesterday was my first time going there and the lady at the window with the glasses was very rude before I can start & finish my order. Her body language and facial expression was in a rude and rushed manor. The food and snowball didn’t made the experience any better. Never in my life i’ve seen service that rude.... even if they had a bad day or not. If i can give zero stars I would... never again.

The bbq pulled pork sandwich is so heavenly, its hard to stop eating. Love it.

Theyre usually pretty good here, but have been getting worse. Today I ordered a chicken basket, and Ill be honest - I have no idea how much chicken is supposed to come with it. Ive ordered it twice now and revieved different amounts of chicken each time. They come with chicken, a side, and a drink. I ordered it with fries and a root beer with no ice. I got 4 skimpy chicken strips and a root beer with ice. No fries. So I basically just paid 8.60 plus tax for 4 strips and a drink. Yay.

Delicious food served fresh and quickly! Beautiful outdoor dining area with fans to keep you cool. The owner came out and talked with us for a few minutes which was nice. Absolutely wonderful experience. Were from Abbeville and have no problem driving here to enjoy delicious food served by friendly employees in a great environment.

When they say BBQ for 2 they mean it. Ordered 2 plate lunches and 2 people ate on it for 3 days. Great food and service.

I went on a Sunday. I chose the drive through. It was a bit of a wait however, the BBQ plate was worth the wait. The food was definitely hot and fresh. The customer service was nice.I would have easily given a five star rating if not for the lengthy wait.

Wish I could give zero stars. Horrible place. Good food, but they say they delivered items that werent actually received. Not to mention the insanely high price for plain old burgers. Will never eat there again. They screw you over and dont give refunds for items that WERENT RECEIVED.

This place I dont like. My daughter like it and I have to pick up her order. Called a head of time. Give them extra time and still have to wait. Plus always have to go back because they forget to give the correct Meal!

Absolutely worst BBQ plate lunch Ive ever had in my 58 years of life.

This is one of the best kept hole in the wall place to eat. I have been to this establishment many times to enjoy their hamburgers, wraps, fries, shake or snoball. They make their own ice cream here. Talk about fresh and delicious. This place has grown and just continues to amaze me after 10 years of eating here that I had to post it and share this place with others.

Awesome snowcones, both in size and taste. I had a fried catfish basket and it was kick yo mama good! Like, I LOVE my mom and she is elderly, so kicking her in the face would be just so wrong! But that fish could make me consider it, thankfully you dont need to even kick yo mama to get this fish, you just place the order. Crazy right?! Love you Ma!

They need better systems in place for moving drive through orders. I put an order on Waitr for carryout, and had to wait over 45 minutes in the drive through for an order i placed an hour before. When I finally arrived at the window, I watched someone pass 6 times before I had to grab his attention and get my food.

Hands down our favorite place to grab a bite. Awesome food, reasonable prices and great service. We love the outside seating in the gazebo.

Bad service the employees just seem lazy and non polite. This place has very slow service prepare to wait 15 to 45 min. Even if the food you order doesnt seem to take that long to cook. The food is pretty good and the outside setup is cozy that about it. I came here once before 5 year ago and the service has not change. Im am surprised they are still open. But im not surprised they havent expanded or progress yet.

The best place in new iberia to eat.

I usually have good experiences and going there for years but the last few times ive ordered, like tonight.. they forgot to add the sauce for bread pudding, did not add the xtra seasoning to shrimp pastas as I requested and its not the first time and also gave one cornbread when I ordered two. For the most part, their food is very good. I just dont feel like driving back for items i dont recieve but, its getting old. If not for these complaints, id give a 5 star.

The lady that helped me at the window took my money and was answering the phone. Then I saw her go back to the kitchen and put my fries in a cup with her hands. No gloves and no way she washed her hands. What fell out of the cup or was to much for the cup she put back into the tray (with her bare hands) for the next person. 🤔

Im only giving 3 stars bc of their sweets. Ice cream & snowballs are really good. But as for actual food it upsets my stomach everytime I eat anything from this place! They literally slapped seasoning only in the middle of my husbands burger. My shrimp poboy I got tasted horrible! It had NO seasoning. & also the service stinks. Why have a phone to place an order if youre stuck waiting 30 minutes at the window just to get your food??

We love Caribbean Ice. We have it delivered from Waitr at least once a week. Love the bread options for burgers. The prices are great, portions are generous. Everything we have tried so far was delicious.***The above was posted two months ago. Caribbean Ice has become a staple in our house, still one or twice a week. Weve explored a great deal of their menu. I am SUPER picky about gumbo from restaurants (too spoiled in my mamas kitchen LOL) and yall......its so good, I had to come back and update my review. Food is great, but the service is absolutely horrible!!!!!!! I ordered food at 5:30, was told it would be 30 mins before the food was done. Perfect since I was in Broussard! Get there at 6 waited in line for 30 mins and when I finally get to the window at 6:35 the food is not done. The ride girl at the window apparently thought it was funny that a customer that ordered her food an hour ago was not happy! Never going there again! I wish it would allow me to give zero stars!!!!😡😡😡😡
