Im a disabled veteran getting back into school after over 10 years and I was having trouble getting my books for class. However Eugene went above and beyond to help me out getting my books when others would not in a professional manner.. its greatly appreciated and honorable of him to do these type of things and provide the great customer service / experience and help when needed when others wouldnt. I didnt get the womans name that wasnt helpful at all but that doesnt matter because Eugene was the hero this day! Thank you so very much!Respectfully Eric Ortega USMC

Very accommodating. I went in the pouring rain only to find theyre closed on Fridays. The young man that answered the door went and found the books I needed for my daughter to start her classes the following Monday even though the store was officially closed. I was very impressed with the service.

It was great. I had a voucher from my high school for books as a dual enrollment student. The college stores at PHSC have been great in the past, but they were especially helpful this time. There was a mistake in the voucher that would have prevented me from receiving everything I needed (an access code for chemistry and a book for chemistry lab), but the manager heard what my mom and I had been through that day and honored it anyway. For the record, I would have understood if they hadnt, but it made for an especially good experience that reflects how good of a college PHSC is.

They are very helpful. My daughter is finishing up her Associates Degree at PHSC and heading to USF, so we went to return her books. I wasnt feeling well, so one of the employees quickly offered me her seat. Very kind.For new students though, here is the thing that we wish we would have known: They tell you you HAVE TO GET a certain book for their class, so a student will end up going to the book store to buy $100 book. But you can often buy them online cheaper. My Daughter did online books the last year of school. When you trade your actual books in, you might get very little back - the average on our trip was $10 a book. Yikes, I wasnt happy seeing $450 worth of books turn into $60. Live & learn.

Great organization for graduation exercises

I was amaze by the service provided from all the staff at the West Campus.

Run for the hills any college is better then phsc the teachers they hire are not qualified and do not want to work with you what so ever. The dean was very rude when I tried contacting them they never got back to me after having a real rude teacher take advantage of the COVID. If your unfortunite enough to be going here do not take dr.rays classes and if your experince any problem regarding your class your better off talking to a frog outside.

I’ve had great experiences at this college. Young adults, go to PHSC and save some money on your prerequisites. Then, transfer your credits to a 4-years university. Safe yourself a huge load of debt early on!

The college store always has the things I need at reasonable prices! I love their collection of pens, notebooks, notepads, PHSC merch, and anything else I can think of! I love stopping by on a regular basis to see what is new, and check up on the back wall of their misc. school supplies! If you can think of it, they have it.

Things are a bit overpriced but, understandably so, since the college has everything you need right there. You can get a good deal in books somewhere else online but, you will end up spending money out of, pocket since it is not covered under you approved Pell grant. If you get a loan then no worries about it coming out of pocket. The store is great though. If you buy your books there you can also resell them at the end of, the semester for, a reduced price. I would recommend students to visit the store. The staff is very knowledgeable since many of, them also go to the same school.

Everyone is so nice. If you need help finding books, the guys there are more than happy to help you find the books you need. (:

DO NOT BUY BOOKS ONLINE THROUGH THE BOOKSTORE WITHOUT VERIFYING WITH YOUR SYLLABUS FIRST!There are NO refunds on digital books even though it shows REQUIRED under your class. I have lost $119.99 because my syllabus required something completely different. I feel like the bookstore needs to follow up with the professors required material or accept refunds! This is absolutely ridiculous.EDIT: UPDATE. Only because cengage couldnt upload the course, we were returned our money!

Expensive 2-3 times more expensive than Amazon. The instructors dont make it known what book they are using. You have to go to book store to find out. Next you copy the isbn number, and hope you can get it online in time for the quarter. Such a scam.

Everything Ive bought at the bookstore is at or below the prices anywhere else. If you think the books here are expensive look online for it. I have and its not much cheaper online. At least for the nursing program anyway.
