First, they brought us an expired milk. Second, they forgot to give is forks and napkins. Third, we waited for food the longest. The other family that came much later than us received a better treatment. Not only they received the food quicker, the owner talked to them, smiled, made them feel welcome. Us, on the other hand, he completely ignored.Yes, we went there for a first time. But why you treat your customers so differently?Hence your 3 stars review.
Got food delivered. Nothing was edible. Potatoes skins were brown and black. Everything that had blue cheese had way too much blue cheese. Everything else was bland and not very good. Very disappointed. I haven’t had food from here in a year. Used to be good.
Such a lovely diner! I stayed at a nearby hotel (walking distance) and this is the only restaurant my family ate at for the 3 nights we stayed. The menu is AWESOME! They have everything you could ever want. And such a delicious bakery!!! Definitely try the red velvet cheesecake. The owner Mustafa was so kind and helpful the whole weekend. The place has a family owned vibe and seems like they run on good qualities. Highly recommend.
My experience at the Prestige Diner was a mixed bag. Our server was wonderful despite a new ordering system requiring them to punch your order into an iPad, and it completely removed the human connection that I feel is crucial to the experience of dining out. The food was fantastic as always, but the ordering system was too weird and couldn’t be ignored. Maybe if the server was allowed to write down the order then punch it into the tablet after moving away from the table, then it would be okay. Even though the food was delicious, next time I’ll be going somewhere else.

Went out to eat with 3 adults and 2 tweens. Orders were California chicken panini, Very berry healthy french toast, beer battered fish and chips, chocolate chip waffle with vanilla ice cream, and Asian salad. Everything was picture perfect presentation. Fresh ingredients. The Asian salad had a whole beautifully grilled chicken breast with chopped romaine, scallions, sliced almonds, mandarin oranges and yummy sesame ginger dressing. The only thing that could have made it better would be more shredded carrots and some shredded red cabbage. Everything was delicious and service was excellent and friendly. A great place for family dining.
Food is always good and consistent. Service usually great but lately I see a lot of new untrained faces bringing the diner down. One waiter running his hands through his hair then serving food. An 11 year old child shadowing a waitress, getting beverages and serving food. I feel this is bringing the customer experience down.
Always great food and always great service! The owners Jimmy and Harry have put their heart into this establishment and it shows. The outdoor area has been redone, and its truly one of the nicest in the area, they put a lot of thought into the design and atmosphere. Try the quinoa bowl for breakfast. They have a liquor license if you want drinks theyve got that too! Bonus points for working with my food allergies. Prestige is a like a hybrid diner/restaurant and never disappoints. Its been our go-to spot for years and will continue to be.
TERRIBLE!! I decided to order via DoorDash and thought this would a good spot because of the great reviews and the menu looked delicious. Well, let’s start with the lettuce was withered, the salad looked picked over, and not to mention for the price point it was little to nothing. I also read the ingredients and it said nothing about bacon bits (I don’t eat bacon) and what do you know BACON BITS! So needless to say a salad I paid $16 for is in my garbage. Will not be getting anything from this place again…smh

What is happening..over $50 dollars for 2 people..for sandwiches..A club sandwich over $14 dollars with no bacon tuna on 3 peices of bread..ordered a side of bacon over $4 dollars...so the sandwich was almost $20 dollars..are you kidding me..its not Tiffanys..and the kicker is a glass of ice filled tea..the SAME price as the side of BACON. Not my first time here..but I will make it my last..! Yes love the response from owner. As you can see i spent a month in Europe, save the rhetoric of prices going up, The quality was sub par also.
Fantastic food and a friendly staff make this place shine. An excellent atmosphere indoors and out, I highly recommend you stop in for a meal if you have the opportunity. I will certainly return many times as I am in this area often for work.

We went to your diner yesterday for breakfast,Sunday 8/29,at approximately 10AM.The manager was not nice to the 3 gentleman,in front of us,who were waiting for a table.He told them to move from where they were standing. His tone of voice,led them to turn and walk out.We were right behind them. After seeing that we left. It was our first time there.We wont be back.

The diner is awesome. I have always been a frequent visitor to the diner. I should say its actually a Diner/Restaurant because they are quite a step up from your normal diner. The service is really awesome and the food gets 5 stars. They should really put potatoes on there cheese steak, but everything there is awesome. Actually when I ask they always do. We had a crazy thanksgiving we where going to just have a quiet time at home then the day before 6 of our family members decided they wanted to come over for Thanksgiving. Luckily I thought about asking the diner for food. They had a Thanksgiving package with turkey wine everything so my wife didnt have to cook. I continued to ask the owner if I could order because I was past the ordering threshold (I inquired the day before about help with our dinner). They where more than accommodating and gave us so much food, and we even got a bottle of wine and the price was so reasonable. The turkey was outstanding. I have to say they are a true step up from just a diner!

So tonight I called at 6 and placed an order for pick up at 6:30. Finally at 7 I got my order. When I got home I found that not only did I not get the veggies or gravy for my meatloaf but the meatloaf was cold. Clearly it had not been cooked to order. Last time I will ever go to the Prestige

I live in New Providence and Prestige Diner definitely feels like the heart of our town. Its an excellent diner with typical and delicious diner fair (they have a liquor license now too). But, what I love most are the staff who couldnt be friendlier and the support the diner always has for the town and its people. Jimmy, the owner, is fantastic.
We waited 54 minutes to eat in total. 25 to get the table and the rest for our food which was a sad surprise. I ordered a Spanish omelet which was not bad. However, it came with home fries which were honestly horrible. They had no salt, were completely flavorless, and looked barely cooked except for a burned corner. Also the menu does not have good combo options and if you want an omelet and pancakes, you have to get pancakes separately. I actually asked if I could replace my toast with something else but the waitress said no. This was my first visit and will definitely be my last.

The burger with feta cheese tasted like meatloaf. Food was plentiful, but was lukewarm at best. Food rated at 3.7, but service was outstanding, rated at 4.4. The outdoor dining tables were spaced for social distancing, with 4 to a table.

Loooong wait, cold food. I heard from friends the quality is going downhill at this diner.Placed an order for two burgers. Took an hour and 15 to get ready. Tried giving them another chance, twice, but again cold food with an 1+ hour wait. There are much better restaurants/diners in this area.

Coffee was fresh, multiple re-fills offered, I ordered a flight of mimosas which was tasty, I got an order of french toast with strawberry cream and fruit. It was a little sweeter than I would have liked, but thats more personal preference. The food was well made. They got busy on a Sunday morning but the staff still came by and checked on the table. I would return for more breakfast it was good food.

The Prestige is a long-time, fave hangout for all generations in New Providence...and, theyve been misses during their closure from a fire this Spring.Happily, they just re-opened, with a terrific patio for outdoor dining; and, the same great food/service they built their reputation on 👍😁

I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this diner for 1st time tonight. It was kind of late, but was as served good food. Had beef tips w/ mushrooms and mashed potatoes. You get soup, salad and rolls w/ the entree! A lot of food, and the beef tips were tender and tasty! A glass of red wine just topped it off after a long day. Thank you!Since that time I have stopped in to get dinner for my mom at a local rehab facility. LOVE the Chicken Florentine - the meat was nice and tender and stuffed w/ spinach and feta! Great choice!

The customer service has been amazing everytime we have come. Even today on a busy holiday Monday the waitress, Lucy, went above and beyond to make a special hot chocolate with crushed candy canes on the top. Grateful for a wonderful experience yet again!
Food is amazing, service is very good majority of the time, but the on tap beverages leave a lot to be desired. A lot of wonderful menu options for all sorts of tastes. However the only thing holding me back from 4 or possibly 5 star review is. They recently went to this off brand fountain soda, which may not be a deal breaker for some, but sometimes you just want a burger and a coke. Not some weird generic knock off with a horrible after taste. No lemon lime option which limits the drinks you can order from the wet bar as well.
Our go to breakfast spot. Tons of healthy options. Wife and I usually split the sunrise omelet and workout pancakes. We divvy up some for our 4 year old and we all leave extremely satisfied. Only issues are that parking is tough and there are sometimes pretty decent wait times, but I guess its cause they are pretty good.
Of course being from.NJ weve been to plenty of diners. Weve yet to have a bad experience here. Definitely one of the best diners in our area. Yes there is sometimes a wait, but that is a testament to how good it is. Everyone is friendly, they have dairy free options and special dietary requests always come out correct. Waitstaff is professional-We always ask for Gabe or Erin, they are simply the best and its obvious they love their regular customers. We cant imagine going anywhere else.

One of our favorite diners in the area. More modern and updated compared to most diners. The food is really good and the staff is genuinely friendly.The place can get very crowded on the weekends especially around Church mass given its right across the street.Definitely a must-do if youre new to the area for brunch.
