Ive been a customer for about 20 years now. The staff at Envisiage (formally Optical On Main), are friendly, and down to earth. I always buy customized Silhouette glasses, and Edward and Phillip go above & beyond to make sure all specifications are met. Thanks

Just took my daughter in for an eye exam and had a terrible experience in this place. Everyone from the woman at the front desk, to the technician to the doctor (Dr. Barksdale) made us feel like they didnt want our business from the moment we stepped in the door. The doc seemed annoyed I wanted to go into the exam room with my daughter and overall seemed lethargic and sloppy (and annoyed if I asked any questions). There were also dirty napkins and disposable gloves on the floor of the exam room which was off putting. Then when I explained we wanted to use the prescription to order glasses online everyone seemed annoyed by this and made it seem like it was highly irregular to ask for the PD measurement. Then they relented and said they would give us the PD measurement if we paid an extra fee. There was another woman that walked in to pick up her contact lens order and immediately let them know that there was a mistake and the prescription on the side of the boxes was incorrect and therefore it must not be her order. Instead of apologizing and making it right they seemed annoyed and told her the technician just started eating his lunch in the next room and she would have to wait for 20-30min. I would normally want to do my part to support a small local business but in this case I would definitely NOT recommend going here.

This office is so unprofessional, rude and down right nasty. I dont know how they are still in business serving customers if I could give them a zero star that would be the best complement to describe them. If you want and desire friendly customer service with professionalism stay away from this office because you will be very disappointed. They are rude on the phone by hanging up on you abruptly, disrespectful in every way. If you want to keep your peace & joy intact find another eye provider because this office will assist you in losing all of that and none of them are worth it.

Very unprofessional and makes people feel uncomfortable let’s people who come the slightest of late be the last to go. They also let people who come before someone go after them which is crazy to think about

Walked in to retrieve records for a highly sensitive matter but was brushed off by the receptionist, telling me they had nothing, even though I’ve prescribed and treated there multiple times. I left with a simple letter, not what I needed. My husband, a man, walks in and within seconds we got the records I needed. Machismo or plain negligence? I say both.

I was dis-satisfied with their service. The administrative staff could use some customer service skill. When I called on the phone to make an appointment the person who answered advised they would call me two days prior to confirm the appointment and that if I did not answer they would leave a message and I was required to call back to confirm, otherwise my appointment would be cancelled. They never called so I called the day before to confirm and was told they called and there was not answer (I did not have a missed call or message) and they cancelled the appointment. I was then rescheduled for the same appointment.When I arrived for my 2:30 appointment there was one other person ahead of me and I waited 50 minutes to see the doctor. After waiting 30 minutes I asked do you know how much longer until I see the doctor? she replied we cant be sure she is in with another patient I said but I had an appointment a half hour ago, and her response was full of attitude well when the doctor sees someone and there are issues we cant be sure how long it will take. my reply what is the point of appointments then? Needless to say I was not happy, but I kept my composure and patiently waited another 20 minutes. I later asked the doctor if I had been 50 minutes late to my appointment, would you still have honored my appointment? she did not respond, I said I would imagine not. Another issue was that they check my vision coverage prior to the appointment and quoted me one pride for the co-pay then gave me a different price in person. So I got my vision checked but went else where to fill it the prescriptions.In the end I am a mother of of a 5 year old and it was the middle of a Saturday, I left my child and guests at my own BBQ for my appointment and was there in good time, waited 50 minutes I was with the doctor for all of about 5 minutes to check my vision and left paying a different price then quoted. What makes there time more valuable then mine, and the attitude of the staff was less then attractive.You bet I will not be returning.

The optometrist was very kind and helpful. And the staff was nice, as well.

I called asked if they accepted a particular insurance spoke with Sade who stated she didnt know. Next I had to ask if she would ask someone else who works there if they knew. She placed me on hold. I had to call back asked for manager which she Sade claimed to be the manager with an attitude smh. I explained although I world love to stay on hold for hours my time is valuable and if they wanted my business should treat me as such. Rudely to say she was nasty and very unpleasant to talk too. But what do you expect...

The staff working do a very good job. One of the employee in particular seemed like the person didn’t want to work, was very laid off, had no interest in customers, didn’t give great explanation. Made me feel intimidated and bored to be in there.

I was hesitant going here but when I went, everyone was great and generous. I even got my glasses three days after my appointment. For the people who did prior reviews thank you, your opinions took effect on this place and despite I always like to see things for myself and I was satisfied.

From all the eye services I have received this has been the worse one. The only nice person was the second doctor, (I dont remember her name, she was Asian) I saw for my eye contact follow up. The secretary had an attitude and was totally unfriendly. Definitely wont be coming back to this place again.

I highly Recommend this place, this place is great . Chernikue was very helpful and female eye doctor was Great .

This place changed and not in a good way. I’ve been going to this place ever since I was an elementary student in 2005. The old staff has left and new ones are here with no kind of professionalism. The screw of my glasses were lose so I just went in to have them tighten. A man who works there (not David) takes them and quickly says “If we break them, we are not responsible.” That was the first time I’ve ever had someone say that to me.

The lady from the counter is very rude. She she was only giving me and my mom nasty looks. Unacceptable, never coming back to this place ever again

My family visited the shop to order glasses, and found themselves in a very unfriendly environment, unfortunately. The lady at the counter didnt bother to get up from the chair throughout the whole visit! Can u imagine? She also refused to unlock the frame stand, saying pick up smth. first... How ones supposed to pick up a frame without trying it on? Unacceptable service, totally.

There is a $25 cancellation fee for appointments. Not to mention, the closest appointment is one month from now🤔. No thanks.

Terrible customer service. After reading the previous reviews I should of avoided this place. Will not be returning.

Ive been going here ever since I was in sixth grade (senior in college now). Boy has it changed, not in a good way either. David used to be very kind nowadays he seems to get easily annoyed. Didnt like how he had a snappy attitude towards my mother.

Very bad but bad service as if the man was going to pay for my childrens glasses ... really upset very bad service ..
