Mark and his crew did a great job re-powering my 20 year old boat. Pulling all the old equipment out cleaning everything (even the bilge) you can tell they believe in doing quality work and want it to look good. Even straightened out the under console wiring that looked like a rats nest after all the years of different upgrades. All my boat work will go there now. Its rare to find a place that cares about the quality of their work anymore

Took my boat to Mark at Marine Specialties for the first time and had the most amazing experience. I took my boat to three different mechanic shops where all I experienced was dishonest people, it got to the point where I was so turned off of boats that I didnt care to ever see another one. I wish these guys were closer to me. I drive about 1.5 hours to get my Yamaha parts because they keep them in Stock and they are knowledgeable, friendly and make the trip worth it very time! I would recommend these guys as a go to service and parts dealer hands down!!!

I have been coming here for years and they are honest, fairly priced and do great work. Not going to get ripped off. They know my Yamaha F150 inside and out. Call for an appointment. They are so good they get backed up 2 weeks sometimes.

Just went in there for some parts. Prices were the best in town. Called them on the phone confirmed they had them. I told them I would be in there later. Got there a little before close and they were at the counter waiting. They have fantastic customer service and this will be my boat place from now on

I was told by a boat mechanic to go to this place for my Yamaha needs. I needed a thermostat for my motor. I called them up and they had it in stock. I told them I’m on the way, when I got there the part was on counter waiting. After I paid for part I noticed a Yamaha floating keychain and told young lady at counter I was sorry, but I only have a fifty dollar bill. She gave me keychain at no charge.I returned next day to ask if the could check a part to see if it was bad. After checking it at no charge I was told my part was good. I had just had my boat fixed at another shop and was told above part was bad,$450 +labor later find it wasn’t that part at all. Will take my boat here next time I need repair.

I brought my boat to this place last week. I was quoted an approximate $700 repair including an annual service but when I wanted to pick up my boat they charged me $1,400!!!! Without notifying me of any of the needed additional repairs and labor!!! They ended up with 10! hours of labor for an annual service and a fuel system overhaul!!!When I mentioned that I think the price for my service is to high and that I should have been notified before things got 100% higher than previously quoted, one of the owners said that I had the choice between paying, or leaving the boat on their yard!!!I can not recommend this place to anyone. The way they do business is based on in-transparency. STAY AWAY!

Went to go get another part.. I was going to be like 10 minutes to late before closed. Called and told them where I was at and I was going to be a few minutes late. They were nice enough to stay a little later after closing to help me out. Thanks again guys

Ive done work for them, and these guys do the most precise, clean, proper work Ive seen. Theyre all nice and its always a pleasure to work with them.

We trailered our boat down from NC. Put it in the water and it wouldnt go into gear. Luckily we were at the ramp right down the street! I called Marine Specialties and they agreed to take a look. Turns out that the shift shaft had vibrated loose. These guys fixed it in 10 minutes and saved our trip. 5 stars :-)
