We just received our PADI Open Water certificate from this Dive Shop. Keith, our instructor was very knowledgeable about everything scuba related; safety, equipment, conservation efforts, and oceanic species. He was easy to talk to and fun to spend time with. We will recommend him to all of our friends and family. We are so excited to start our scuba adventure! We dove/trained in a swimming pool and at Ponce de Leon Springs and Blue Grotto Springs.

Sea Dogs, is a smaller building, but dont let that fool you. They carry everything you need and want! I got my OW certification from Keith, who is the owner and instructor. He is a laid back personality, who truly wants to spread his knowledge and bring more people into the diving lifestyle. He is awesome!The rental gear, used during the scuba classes, is good gear with little wear. I felt totally comfortable upon completion of class, and bought the same gear i used during the class because i liked it so much.Going to Sea Dogs was the best decision i made. They have shown me their love for diving, and now i feel the same. They also have a dive club that gets people diving with little cost.Scuba is not outrageously expensive.. I went to blue springs today and besides a hot dog, it costed me 6 dollars. I am so happy to have had a great instructor that helped me get to this point.Come join the family, Its a lot of fun

What a great place to learn the new underwater world. The knowledge is so comforting and shows in the years of experience. You always feel part of the group by the nature of the class. Make sure you call the store first as the hours currently listed on Google are incorrect. With that being said, I called the store to rent gear for a small group of people. Keith was very accommodating and willing to work with me outside the stores scheduled hours to rent and return gear. The price was more than fair and I would happily rent from Sea Dogs again while diving in this area.

Sea dogs was the only shop that would teach my 10 yr old daughter to dive. I am so happy that the other dive shops told us no due to her age. Keith was the perfect instructor for her as he takes his time and truly care about his students. She has been certified for two years now and has close to 50 dives and I have a new dive buddy. We moved to Orlando and still drive to see keith for all our dive gear and advice we ever need. After 30 yrs of diving sea dogs is absolutely the best people and shop I have ever seen.

Oh my gosh where do I start! Keith the owner is amazing! So nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. Lloyd the DM was incredible. Nice dive boat! 60 ft viz... swam with dolphins.. huge Goliath grouper... massive bull sharks, barracuda, a snowstorm of little jellies and hundreds of other amazing things we saw under water! From knowing nothing at all about diving to Open water certified!100% highly Recommended Keith(the instructor) is accommodating beyond belief! I was on a short time frame and wanted to learn to dive ASAP. He fit me into his schedule no problem! Even setting up dates that were not in his schedule just to make sure my time frame was met! Anywhere else wouldve charged me extra, he didnt! You can tell he genuinely enjoys teaching and makes sure all of his students feel the same about Diving! Keith is perhaps one of the most patient,honest, genuine person I had the opportunity to learn under! I would tell anyone interested in Diving or even just dive gear for the more experienced Divers to go check this place out! He is highly educated and wont just have you spending your money on gear you dont truly need. Unless you wanted to, which he is very open about. He makes sure that anything you spend your money on is what you believe is best for you and will keep you happy in the long run!

On vacation, and called to rent some wetsuits, which isnt even their core business. We were taken care of better than we could have imagined. They made sure we were well fitted and knew all the tricks. Super fast, super easy, and it wouldnt have been possible to get a better price! Next time Im in NSB, this is my spot. I was going to be spending the weekend in New Smyrna and called the shop with 3 days notice to see if they could fit me in a group and they accommodated me despite the short notice. The dives were great. I felt like I was in great hands the entire time, and since the first dives in big water can be the scariest that says a lot. They took great care of the group, and the dives were well planned and organized. After completing my last dive they helped me fill out the paperwork for my certification! Their prices were also fantastic. I highly recommend Sea Dogs!

I took a refresher course with Kieth had a great experience and it prepared me for some diving in Aruba with my son.another great experience.Kieth is always willing to help and talk about your diving experience. I am looking forward to diving with him locally and try out spearfishing.

My son and I highly recommend Sea Dogs! My son got junior certified and I did a refresher. Keith and Justin were fantastic and worked around our trip. My son (age 11) felt extremely comfortable with the entire process and we both learned a lot. We had a lot of fun and will definitely come back!

Have been diving with this shop for 20+ years. Even through ownership change (health not service) they have always went out of their way to make sure the divers are cared for and activities are carried out safely. No request has ever been ignored and if possible accommodations will be made. Great group of individuals. Cannot go wrong to make a call and ask for anything.

Theyre the place to go! Forget port orange or daytona, go to the local company that has it all figured out (theyre serious professionals). Theyre super courteous to everyone and no question you could possibly have will be laughed at. Best instruction you can find with an affordable price. Theyll also always help you with buying new equipment! Such as avoid this, dont buy this used, fittings for masks and fins, and literally anything else you need. My neighbor dives constantly and will only go to sea dog to get his equipment. Theres a reason I always see their stickers on peoples cars when I take a trip out to Orlando.

My buddy and I did discover diving with Nick. He had a great personality and made learning fun with his clear teaching and encouragement. The Blue Springs dive site was absolutely gorgeous with with a jungle like background, crystal clear water, and lots of wild life. We had an exciting, memorable dive!

I took my open water class with Keith at sea Dogs Dive Center four years ago. We made a family vacation out of it so it was me and four teens getting certified. Keith was extremely accommodating and worked with us. All 5 of us got certified and are dedicated divers now. (Im a DM and plan on completing my IDC this year). I would recommend Sea Dogs for their charters or their classes. Consider a family vacation in New Smyrna Beach. and doing some diving while there. Its what we did and was one of the most memorable family vacations we have had.

Received my PADI certification through Sea Dogs. Keith is very knowledgeable and the shop has a great selection of gear for every skill level and budget.

I had absolutely no problems. From scheduling the dive, to gear, to help with gear on the boat, safety brief, in water activities and the ride. I would do it again with these guys. They limit the number on the boat and allow you to do the dive you want. We had Nitrox, regular tank, and spear fishers on the same trip. The safety brief covered all these activities. They go out when they have divers not just when the peak times are (e.g. We went on a Thursday not waiting till the Weekend).Everyone was professional and treated you as part of the team not just a wallet.
