Love this place, the owners, the furniture, and all the accoutrements.

Ive had the pleasure of shopping in Southern Trends the past few years for great gifts, accessories, and art work, and have always loved visiting this locally owned store. Today, I had the opportunity to order furniture for our new home, which is currently under construction.I met with Designer, Debbie, so personable and professional, and she was able to find exactly what I had in mind. I will happily wait for my furniture to be built to my specifications, knowing I will be getting high quality, well built furniture at a fair and reasonable price. I felt very safe and comfortable during my visit, much more so than a shopping trip to a Big Store, or even the grocery store.I highly recommend anyone shopping along Canal Street to drop in and browse. It is much more than a furniture store, as you can see from my photo, I couldnt leave there today without buying this unique magnetic art piece, which will find a spot in my new home.

My husband and I have had the same furniture for over 10 years now. We are getting older and a power lift recliner was recommended to us. Cathy was able to point us in the right direction and we found a beautiful recliner in the perfect color to match our home. We ordered 2, (his and hers, mine is a smaller version than my husbands). We were delighted with the service and friendly, safe and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend Southern Trends.

This a really nice store. Especially for beachy furnishings and accessories. We bought 3 lamps that will go into our Latitude Margaritaville home. Their prices are fair and responsible as well.

Shopping here should answer the question of why we need to support small business. A family owned store which goes out of its way to please its customers. Reasonable prices,thoughtful and knowlegeable service and Kevin and Justin their delivery guys just superb. Its all about customer service and I would put this place at the top of my list.

My entire house is furnished with SouthernTrends furniture!! As a local born and raised New Smyrna girl, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I love local businesses that are local families running their own stores and this one is sure to not disappoint.From coastal to farmhouse they have it all and if they don’t have it on one of the 3 floors they can order for you. Very pleased with customer service, order process and delivery!

Really cool place, and they were open with us asking way too many questions. We didnt buy anything this time but likely will come back in the future. If you go here, be prepared to spend a pretty penny!

They have experienced and gracious staff & a fantastic selection of furniture, accessories & artwork to choose from. If they do not have what you are looking for, they can certainly order it with lots of fabric options on sofas and chairs. What a gem to have a quality store in New Smyrna, owned by locals!
