Going to a foot doctor next to the eye center stopped to make an appointment here . I was told that I have cateracts gave them my insurance cards ( blur cross, Medicare). My first date is august 17 . I got Medicaid this week so stopped there yesterday to give the information . A phone call was made and I was told that I am a new customer and all my insurance cancelled each other out and they couldn’t help me. Cataract sugary is covered by insurance but I guess not here. Looking to file a complain with a medical site out of Washington like the FCC or FYC

I have been buying glasses from the Eye Care Center and before from Chris Sullivan. I often have a hard time finding just the right pair (maybe due to my fussiness or being conservative ) but each time Chris finds the perfect pair. Then she has to deal with me coming back to have them adjusted when first it was toddlers knocking them and now it is the jumping dog. I have recommended Chris to others and they have been more than satisfied! Christine is a gem!!

I have been going to this office for over 20 years. Today, the atmosphere continued to be absolutely professional, but there was a lighter side to it. Smiles, slight joking, laughter, yet maintaining their professional demeanor and care....always! It was certainly a refreshing experience, especially after being locked down for 2.5 months, and people just being scared and afraid...making them prickly. Thank you for a wonderful eye care experience today! Keep up the great work!

Brand new patient ten minutes late and they refused to see me wanted me to reschedule. I walked out will spend money elsewhere. Not the way to treat a new patient

I definitely recommend The Eye Care Center of Newark! The staff is great and Im always helped promptly. Ive never had any issues with my glasses (and Im rough with my glasses). Quality is great and there is a section of frames for those on a budget, like me. Thank you Eye Care Center :).

Christine you are a miracle work. I brought my glasses in that my beagle puppy chewed up. Christine fixed the glasses so i could wear them while waiting for my new pair to come in. You truly are a miracle work!!!

Fist time at The Newark Eye Care Center. I had no wait time and all staff were very friendly. Doctor took the time to ask questions and also answer any questions that I had. Would definitely recommend Newark Eye Care Center.

Eye Care Center is great, This place has the BEST accommodating staff as well as the Best doctor you could find. Dr Hindman goes above and beyond to take care of her patients. I travel 2 hours one way for my appointments with Dr. Hindman, I have keratoconus and most cant treat it properly, no one else can match the care you receive here.

Had a 10:00am appointment on Monday for my son that was made weeks in advance. At 11:30am we were still waiting. An hour and a half with a 5 year old is a VERY long time. When asking what was taking so long we were asked to reschedule. This place is a joke. Wasted over 2 hours for nothing. Now need to find another place to take him.
