It is a clean store, staff were friendly, Aisles were organized perfectly and maintained well. I think this is one of the biggest store i have seen in and across Wilmington and Newark . Plently of options and has almost all the brands. There were fruits and vegetables and some indian cookware as well, They charge 10 cent for carry bag, which is very good(we will care about mother nature) it is better to bring your own bag (They also give the option to packup the groceries in boxes. I would higly recommend this place.

I am a small business owner and I recently moved from NJ to Delaware and found this amazing store. I never imagined an Indian store so clean and well maintained. Our new favorite store to go for all grocery needs. I still see some reviews complaining about Coconut and grocery bags charges, please visit few NJ/NY stores and do some quality comparison you will be amazed on what things you are getting in Delaware for such a small Indian population as compared to NJ. If you dont want to pay for grocery bags then get your own bag as simple as that, it is new law for all big sized grocery stores to keep multi/reusable bags only and surprisingly this law still allows small sized stores to give single-use bags.

The Apna Bazar is a neatly-laidout semi-warehouse store, full of fairly a comprehensive range of Indian and Asian food staples. Prices are quite reasonable, and the selection is huge.Ill be going back quite often.

I live in Glen Mills, PA and used to shop in Indian stores in Exton, PA but after this store has opened all my Indian grocery shopping is from this store. Their Home delivery is the best I have seen from any Indian store. I gave them 5 star after being their customer for almost an year and have no complaints. Good place for getting Indian grocery items

I found myself an interesting variety of quickly fried Indian flour goods. I chose Chakki Fresh Chappathi Atta. Baking is a science while cooking is an art. Maybe I am better at science.

This is a decently large Indian grocery store compared to any other in the near by area. You can find a verity of vegetables and other Indian products here.*Plenty of parking space.

Once upon a time It was very nice quality wth reasonable prices. Bt nw everything changed high prices low quality. Got paper n threads in Jowar atta got bug in saunf.. Due to this pandemic we dont store packets. We empty them into our boxes. If we complain they will ask to bring packets. I took the pictures also bt they ask same to bring packets.Also we have to check the bill..sometimes got overcharged.

It was my first order placed with them. A best destination for Indian Groceries, you will get almost everything here, during the lock down where its tough and not safe to go out, they started home delivery service. The Ordering groceries was very easy, one can go through the product list on the website and write them a mail, they revert on the mail almost on same day, they will resolve the queries at earliest. After placing the order, you will receive call from the Shop and you can modify or confirm the order. I had placed my orders around 3 PM and I received the Product around 9 PM itself, which is really appreciating effort. Only one thing I felt, vegetables I ordered did not last longer than expected. I just hope the vegetables were fresh.I will recommend this outlet if you want home deliver, curbside or instore ( when they open).

Earlier, I either had to dig into coolers to find age-old vegetables or walk the narrow, overcrowded lanes to pick what I needed from the counters.It isn’t the case here. A wide-open and spacious store welcomes me with a huge smile the moment I step in. Workers and owners are friendly, helpful and supportive no matter what I have on the list. The staff and the store respect me, value me for who I am by giving me the space I need: To look, walk and talk. No matter what I am looking for I have always been in luck. Fresh and high-quality farm produce is neatly heaped at respectable distances. An abundance of a wide variety of items gives me a rich choice.On all weekends, Oh My God tasting FREE masala tea is for everyone whether I bought something or nothing mirrors the stores approach and attitude towards its customers.

My wife and I just left the market. I dont know where to start other than overwhelming impressed. The produce had to be some of the best looking I have ever seen. I could have stayed for hours in the spice aisle alone. They had oils Ive never heard of. I found it to be very reasonably priced compared to other specialty farmers markets. I will without a doubt go back with a complete shopping list. The store was also very organized. Two thumbs up for this market.

Charging extra $ 5 for curbside pickup during this pandemic is like taking money from people who are not having jobs or who have not received paycheck or stimulus check or any help. Its a Pandemic where people are dying and many generous people are donating food and grocery to the needy. People are feeding the poor and doing all sorts of charity but this Grocery store is just trying to make money.I totally agreed with this point, even I had discussion with owner I made my point but he had another point, we are paying labour etc.This is not justifiable .Also to accept review with good intent making customer understnad owner point of view . The discussion became more of lower level.I would request owner should consider considering above point to rollback $5 and help people to buy grocery in this situation.

I have been shopping at the new Apna Bazar since it opened couple of months ago. They had very competitive prices in the beginning and that was very good to start with. Now their prices are more or less regular price like the other Indian Grocery store. There is nothing wrong with that. But what I realized today is something called False Advertising. They price the product Cheaper on the shelves, but when you pay at the counter then they charge higher prices. This kind of cheating will not take them far. I fail to understand how they can practice their Indian Mentality Business in United States. They are new in Delaware and Cheating Customers like this will put them out of business soon. Customers be aware, please check your receipts with the price charged before you leave the store. I had just become their customer not too long ago. But have decided not to shop there no more.

Its a nice store with a variety of products that cant all be found at Walmart/ACME etc. Well organized and items are easy to find. Clean and appealing. Only reason Im rating 3 instead of 5 is cause of the customer service. As I was paying, the cashiers only word to me during the entire transaction was Credit?. And when the receipt printed I put my hand out to get it, but she placed it on the counter instead and turned away without saying thank you, goodbye, etc. The receipt was long so our hands wouldnt have came in contact either. It was just a weird vibe considering the previous customer actually had more interaction with her. I felt unwelcomed, I am Hispanic so maybe theyre just less interactive with other races. Im not sure, the vibe was off for sure.

Having lived in NJ for almost 2 decades, my first depression after we moved to DE was about a good Indian Grocery store. We continued to get our weekly supplies from NJ till I heard the wonderful news of opening an Apna Bazar in DE, which was like a music to my ears.. I could not wait for the store opening.. Moments passed, days later, we continue to feel thrilled when we enter the store every now and then. Very neatly organized, broad categorization of different products with a professional business experience backing up. Amazingly growing every day, and yes.. Very professional team of organizers and helpers around. Keep up the great work and raise the bar every day..!! Congratulations.

Worst customer service inflated prices at least 20 to 40%, after grand opening their CS behavior has changed. There is much much better option available in town Parivaar, always welcome you with smile speedy service. You need to shop at Parivaar to wittiness their great CS.

I happened to visit Apna Bazar for the first time. I opted for curb side pick up. The entire process was seamless. The produce was wonderful, fresh and available at competitive price (pre-covid prices). It has all the quality Indian brands that people normally prefer. I would certainly store it as preferred Indian store in google maps.

We just had our first visit, and we will be back often! The produce was wonderful: fresh, well-organized, and with amazingly low prices. The entire store is spotlessly clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. This is a regular super market sized store, and almost all the items are Indian - the selection to us seemed very broad with many brand choices for each item. The parking was plantiful too. If you are not south Asian, dont worry about finding things you need, though! The produce alone is really worth a visit, and of course, youll find many types of rice, spices, and then interesting snacks galore! Im just sorry we didnt stop in sooner.

Very nice selection of Indian groceries. The isles are very wide providing a pleasant shopping experience. Very convenient location and plenty of clean and nice parking spaces. The store is very spacious and excellent choice of fresh vegetables.

Vegetable and fruits are too close to go bad. Lady at the counter had very weird looks for the entire time we were on the line for check out. Other packaged items and food were fairly inexpensive compared to others but missing some good quality brands for spices and others grains and food items.

Kudos to the store for getting more digital quickly with sudden lockdown measures. Ideally, well be able to order via mobile app or online website but the current lockdown-method of sending email orders and later having a phone call with shopper works well enough. Have not heard of any one charging extra and making money from a pandemic where people are dying and suffering. Please stop this and instead provide service to the customers who have supported you when during your store opening. This is unacceptable to charge $ 5 from families who are unemployed and have kids at home to feed. I am not asking you to give things for free which cannot be accepted from this store but atleast dont charge $5 saying you have limited staff .Remove the $5 of curbside pickup and serve and help your customers feed thier families during the pandemice.
