Such a great experience! We had to get exams and glasses for the entire family. They had a really smooth process and are super professional but beyond that they have the BEST customer service. 100% will be a forever client.

Very friendly and competent staff. I was very impressed with each employee’s level of professionalism and ability to develop rapport with their customers in such a short amount of time. Each employee also took the time to disinfect high-touch surfaces, which of course is very important, especially during this time. Not only am I excited to pick my pair of glasses up when they are ready, I’m honestly excited to run into the employees again-they were THAT pleasant!

The staff was very friendly, and Covid precautions were taken very seriously. They made me feel welcome, and were very prepared to help me pick out my glasses. They made sure that I had everything that I needed, and they broke down my insurance pricing as well.

First time going here, everything was easy, friendly and professional from when I called on the phone to make my appointment to the visit itself. They had a great selection of glasses and they spread out the number of customers in the office at the same time (due to Covid-19) so I felt very safe.

Very frustrating lately to book online with this office, especially with Dr. Baloughs limited schedule. Twice I have scheduled online only to be told the time is not available., most recently today. My time is also limited, I have two children who they prefer not to have sitting in the waiting area playing their ipads (they are older) and trying to juggle around my husbands work schedule. What the heck are working parents supposed to do? I work in a dental office and I feel this is so unprofessional and we do allow parents and siblings to attend as needed. Covid is not going away and we all need to figure out how to navigate around it. Perhaps get rid of Sesame and maybe use Zoc Doc. But then again this requires constant monitoring by a staff member to ensure the open time you post is available for patients. The office told me today they have been aware this is an ongoing issue for weeks now. Really? Then remove the online scheduling option from your website. I am so frustrated I am highly considering finding a new optometry place for myself and two children who are also patients. Since this has been an on going issue, I wonder if Dr. Baloguh is aware? This is a sure way to lose patients.

Doctors and stuff are very perfessional. My eyes are 20/20 again. Got my glasses years back now I am trying my contact lenses with them.

These guys have such wonderful, friendly employees and the office is a very pleasant space to be in. They have fantastic up-to-date technology and the doctors and assistants/technicians are all very thorough and knowledgeable. The best part for me is how transparent and helpful the doctor was about the exam and how everything works. Additionally, one of the assistants/technicians spent a long time helping me pick out the best frames, listening to my preferences and helping me choose style after style to try on until I was satisfied. Definitely sticking with this place!

Great experience in these COVID-19 times. Well trained, professional, and welcoming staff. I felt confident in the safe care delivered. The team is doing a great job in light of these challenging circumstances and probably being overly cautious, which I appreciate as it means they care. As always, Dr. Balogh explains your eye health in easy to understand terms. I highly recommend this practice.

Coal Creek family Vision is the best optometrist in Bellevue as well as the Puget Sound/Seattle area. I live in North Creek and work downtown, but Im more than willing to make the drive to Newcastle because of how great this eye clinic is. Ive been wearing glasses for over 20 years and getting regular eye check ups for roughly that amount of time, and every time I see Dr. Balogh I learn something new and fascinating about my eyes. They invest in the best equipment and sell the best quality frames as well. The entire staff is great to work with. Highly recommend!

I really love this place! The people are always super kind. There was a glitch in scheduling and my insurance and my insurance didnt cover what Coal Creek claimed the would. Coal creek worked it out and got it covered at no additional cost to me. The front staff is super awesome and honest about your glasses. They are super nice! The doctors are efficient and make you feel like they care about you as a person. I love this place.

Incredibly talented team! I actually really enjoyed going to this eye doctor - which is not the typical experience for me. Even when it was very busy, they spent an hour helping me find exactly the right pair of glasses. This group is so kind and patient - it is a pleasant surprise.

My family and I have been coming here for years and we always have such a great experience. I appreciate the reminders each year when its time to come in, as well. We just picked up my sons new sunglasses and he is so excited to be able to have cool glasses when hes outside,. We never would have thought to get him sunglasses with his prescription. Book early if you need a specific day, they seem to book up fast.

When it rains it pours! Initially they are super helpful and nice. If there is a problem, the help is limited. I wear glasses for my entire life, I have not heard anything the store ran out of option to fix your glasses. Be warned, check all details(return policy, insurance coverage, etc) before you buy anything.

Dr Balogh is an excellent optometrist. He is attentive and makes time to answer any questions I have. His exam is always very thorough and he catches things that others have missed. His office has all the up to date technology. My favorite is the machine that enables me to skip the dilation! That machine also helped him catch and treat an issue early, which I was extremely happy about. Ive referred my friends and family here and will continue to recommend this business highly!

If you have to go to the Eye Doctor, go to Coal Creek Family Vision. They have great selection of eyewear, great service and two excellent Doctors.

Very disappointed. I paid $290 overall, but the glasses I picked up today has a tilted nose pad, and an about-to-drop-off glass piece. These should be caused by their soft package lacking of protection. Obviously they dont examine the glasses before handing over to customers. And the front desk doesnt seem to be trained for these problems.

I dont know why every outpatient experience cannot be as friendly and lovely as it was at Coal Creek Family Vision. It was such a great experience.

Dr. Balogh is great! He is very friendly and knowledgeable. I did contacts and glasses through him and then he recommended a great lasik surgeon. All the follow ups were performed by Dr. Balogh making things very easy. Highly recommended!

Coal Creek Family Vision ROCKS! perfect eyecare visit and appointment. No waiting, organized, friendly, professional. Thorough they tested my eyes for 5-6 examinations including diabetic eye exam. Dr Topalova was quick expert and reassuring with her tone and purposeful exams. Got my prescription for contacts and was offered a new trial pair, it fit perfectly, no feeling at all and everything looked sharp and in focus. My 1st eye appointment in 10 years.; They took my vision insurance and that saved me 1/2 off on all the services and contacts. Now I will gladly bring in my family members and brag about Coal Creek Family Vision. YAY Fritz was great at wrap up.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They replaced my broken frames for free (warranty) happily. It is a little pricy, but much better quality than mass stores (Americas Best, Costco, etc).

I am a happy customer and will keep visiting his office. Changed from 2 to 4 stars.************Very disappointed.Since I moved to WA in 2014, I was client to Coal creek family Vision. Even when I moved further distance from them I kept them as my optometrist and eye wear provider.Until now, I was nearsighted, age going on I start to be slightly longsighted and was offered office Pro pack + Tech Shield Blue + bifocal lenses. If it does not work for me, it would be changed, so I tried. It did not work for me, working a lot in front of a computer screen, I had to low my head to see clearly the bottom of the screen - Not an option, so I asked to change my lenses and Coal creek Family vision did it diligently. However when I asked for a new invoice, I was told that I could not get one and could not get reimbursed the difference of downgrading my lenses to single vision + Tech Shield blue. I just lost $203 trying lenses that eventually I do not need at the moment (Probably will need correction in the future but so far I am good).Beware trying expensive lenses that eventually will be replaced by lower cost lenses with no reimbursement of the difference. I was never explained this when I agreed to try.On a different aspect, I would like also to mention my experience with Fritz and Kevin (Opticians).In the past, Fritz helped me with choosing my eye wear and yesterday he explained me the no refund/reimbursement policy of the company. Great services, clear explanations, took the time to answer all my questions. 5 stars services.My last eye wear experience was with Kevin. I felt that he was looking down on me, not answering my questions or ignoring them (Dr Balogh was there and had to ask him to answer my question). It was my first experience with longsightedness, I did not know anything about bifocal lenses and I am not a native English speaker. He was not patient with my frame search and I would not recommend to used his services. 1 star. Go for Fritz.

The prescription was incorrect for a pair of glasses I had ordered. It took a little over 3 weeks for them to resolve it. I was initially very frustrated, but the doctor called, explained the error and apologized. Mistakes are inevitable, but they care about their customers, and honestly that is all that matters to me.

Dr. Eugene Bologh is the best optometrist you will find around this area. I had four optometrists in the past but none had the time and passion to pin-point my condition. They all dismissed my condition with a bi-focal prescription while Dr. Bologh methodically diagnosed the defects in eye muscles using various tests that no other doctors ever offered.No luck with your stubborn, conventional eye doctor? Try Coal Creek Family Vision. You will be amazed!The whole staff is very friendly except the guy who sells glasses but who cares about that??

We have no insurance and have been glad with the discounts the Dr gives us for paying cash on glasses and on contacts. Saw the one complaint - if you want WALMART - do not go here. This Dr is superb, excels in his field and provides world-class service. Highly recommend this Doctor.
