My guitar teacher Travis at the Newcastle, WA 4/4 school is great! He is patient, kind and positive. I’m an adult beginner and had some insecurities about learning something new, but Travis has been a great guide on my musical journey.The whole school staff is super responsive and helpful. They communicate through text, email and phone and I always get a fast reply.A++++ all around!

My instructor, Gavin, is very helpful and inspiring. I discovered my love of guitar through 4/4 and would definitely recommend my teacher if you are wanting to learn more about guitar!

My daughter has taken piano lessons with Emily E for over 2 years now and it has been wonderful. Emily is patient and encouraging and she transitioned seamlessly to lessons via Zoom. The staff is incredibly responsive to all requests and information and its just been so easy to work with them all.

My daughter has been going to 4/4 School of Music for 6+ years. We have had only two instructors which is a good sign that 4/4 has “happy” employees. Kristen was our first instructor who was amazing and our current instructor is Emily. We were concerned that we would struggle adjusting to Emily because we enjoyed Kristen so much BUT she has been as good, if not better. We love her! She has excellent skills, both musically and teach-ability. One of Emily’s finest attributes as an instructor is when she teaches a new concept to my daughter, Emma, she can always tie that concept to a great story of music history. It might be a story about Bach or a story of a musical era, she really knows her music and history of music.My daughter plays piano beautifully largely due to Emily. Thank you Emily and 4/4 School of Music!

Our 6 year old had piano lessons with Emily for several months and really enjoyed her. Emily is patient and very nice. Always on time too! Office staff are all very responsive and very friendly. 4/4 does a great job in terms of customer service!! Would definitely recommend!!

My son and daughter has been learning pinao, guitar and singing here for almost two years, and enjoy it. The teachers are encouraging, nice, and friendly. Overall, a wonderful studio that is certainly worth a try!

My son has been taking piano lessons with Nicole for about a month and a half. Nicole is just wonderful and is great with kids. My son looks forward to his lesson with her every week. Not only is she good with kids, she is a great piano teacher! My son has already learned what quarter, half and whole notes are. He understands the difference between the right hand and the left hand and how you can tell the difference when reading music. I am very impressed with Nicole and highly recommend her!

Both my boys have been going here for 2 years now ages 6 & 12 (now) the youngest learning ukulele and the oldest - guitar. We love our teacher Justin...he is amazing and the boys LOVE going to class! We just love it here! Thinking of taking some lessons myself!

This place is great! No hassle admin, and teachers seem great. I personally took lessons from Mike, he is very patient and easygoing, Ive really enjoyed taking lessons from him and 4/4 School of Music.

This music school is great! My kids are both doing piano and are learning really fast, i am really impressed with their progress! The stuff is very friendly and cooperative.

I have 2 kids attending 4/4 School of Music and the teachers have been the best! Both Emily (piano) and Colt (guitar) have made learning an instrument fun. Cant recommend this music school enough.

My daughter started guitar two years ago at age 7 with Curtis at the Renton location. Curtis is an amazing teacher for kids and adults. He is unfailingly patient, always in a good mood, and always has a lot of energy and an infectious personality that really engages kids in learning. He is equally versed in classical and rock styles. (Shes learned pieces ranging from Bach and Satie to Zeppelin and Oasis.) He is also clearly fluent in pedagogical techniques. If my daughters not getting something, he comes up with different ways of teaching it until she gets it. He always comes very prepared - if my daughter mentions a song she wants to learn, he has it the next week for her. If she is struggling with a skill, he has something the next week for her to address it. He is always on the ball. He must have like 80 students or something, but he always remembers every detail of her progress.On another note, the admin staff is very responsive and helpful!

Started taking guitar lessons with Mike at the Renton, WA location for 5 months now - Mike has made the lessons enjoyable and the learning pace is perfect - if you have a desire to learn the guitar, I highly recommended 4/4 School of Music - very professional and organized.

Both my Children have learned so much from their Teacher M. K. @ the Renton School. SHE IS SO good with the kids, and very talented. We are on or past the two year mark. The kids never dread going and wow have they learned and still continue to learn. It has paid off many times over. They are now in School Choir. School Band and Church Choir. Really doing awesome and loving its rewards!!! Highly recommend. Never a bad day!
