The staff is awesome! They were busy, and I had a return. Since you cant really try the products in the store anymore, matching a skin tone is hard! The color I got was all wrong. They took back the wrong one, an an associate helped me find a match... And with a less expensive product to boot! She was super nice and patient while I was so indecisive. Bless her! But, I got what I was looking for. The store was clean, also. I always buy make-up here!

Dont shop here at this location if you are a BLACK female, you will get followed around the store! An employee was literally on every aisle I was on or nearby watching, mind you I was in scrubs and in no way look like a THIEF. I purposely went to multiple aisles and she was pretending to organize store items. Save your money and drive a little further to Peachtree City- they treat you with respect .Newnan Ulta management perhaps invest in diversity training for your employees!!!!!

I went to this store in Newnan this week and the experience was terrible. I wasnt greeted upon enetering the store. I couldnt find anyone on the floor to assist me. When I finally went to check out to ask a question the 2 ladies seemed as if they didnt want to be bothered. If you dont want your job Im sure there is someobe that does and would do it well.

They have a variety of everything beauty and friendly staff. They didnt have what I was looking for but Amy was helpful and came up with something different for me.Two years later: still four stars. Lexie was a huge help and I appreciate her knowledge in helping me pick a product. I do not appreciate being asked 4 different questions about myself after I declined the offers. I should be able to purchase my items quickly.

When asked associates did graciously help my granddaughters.Certain items I was looking for not in stock. Some confusion over buy two get one free products.

I went in looking for a makeup foundation; the customer service was awesome. The employees there were friendly and informative.

If you don’t have on a full face of makeup and a styled outfit you basically get treated as if you’re stealing and have no idea what to you’re talking about. Hair associates have always been kind- just beware of the cashiers

I was greeted at the door and thats about it for customer service. I had trouble finding the type of items I needed and I walked between aisles a few times no sales associate ever came in my direction. About 20 min later a lady walked around the area I was in holding a cell phone and walked back up front and stated All Clear, wth is All Clear any way I later found out that was the manager. I went to the front asked for help, only to find out they couldnt give much advice for textured hair smh, 3 associates in the store and around 3 or 4 people in the store poor customer service on 4/24.

Overall the selection is nice, and pricing is pretty good.

The staff was friendly and knew what they were talking about. I’m not much of a make up person but they made me feel welcomed and shared their opinion and knowledge.

Shelves & stock are rather limited & disorganized. Was that way even before Covid.The ladies in black are minimally helpful unless you look like your there to spend a bunch of money.

Salon is terrible and unorganized.

I came in to look for a product that could change my skin. When I asked a employee for help she just led us to the expensive product instead of other options. My skin is not bad but just wanted to change my skin routine. My husband and I ended up spending an hour looking for affordable skin product and end up but two products and they have great. I don’t wear make up anymore bc of it. The employee was rude bc I told her I didn’t want to buy expensive product.

I usually prefer this Ulta over the Peachtree location but after this morning not so much. We went in just before noon (Sunday) and to start off we werent even greeted by the gentleman behind the counter nor by the few other employees who I walked right by. When we needed help locating possible overstock, we had to go to the front counter to have him call someone to help us. The girl was helpful but definitely not overly friendly. The store just didnt feel welcoming at all to me today, hoping it was just an off day because I do like shopping Ulta and feel they have good prices and sales.

Wow the manger at this Ulta needs to be fired ASAP I will be reaching out to corporate. The attitude and service is so poor I’m in shock! I love Ulta but this lady Caroline shouldn’t work in retail. She told my sister to clean up after herself because they arent any maids, excuse me?! This is a makeup store. Please replace this women.

The employees were very wrapped up in what they were doing instead of trying to help customers. However; once I found someone to help me they were wonderful. She gave me great suggestions and matched my foundation for me. I love Ulta and always find what I need!

Mitra is awesome!! She did what I wanted. She also would make sure I liked a certain product or heat to my hair before using it. She was super sweet. I highly recommend her. Ill be going back. Also, the manager on the floor (I dont remember her name) was super sweet. She complimented my hair several times :)

Loved the time spent with my daughter to make sure she was completely satisfied. Her makeup looked amazing and she was very happy.

Love the store but all the kids running back and forth on foot and in cars i hate. I will not go there after dark or on weekends.

Only wanted a hair coloring and mt bangs trimmed. She ended up taking off about 3 inches of length! Layered my bangs but did not trim the length. She pulled my hair...a lot! I understand a couple of times, and I don’t complain but geez! My scalp hurt for 2 days after! She rinsed my hair with cool water which was unpleasant. This did not get all of the dye out because the next time I showered I couldn’t believe how much color washed out! I did not ask to have my hair flat-ironed, she said she wouldn’t charge for it...guess what...she charged me. You win this round but I won’t be back and I’m posting this warning to others. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because she was super nice, which doesn’t really mean much when you just want your hair done right.

While checking out the cashier informed me I was approved for their credit card. Confused, I asked for clarification, that it would not cause a hard inquiry on my credit report and i was not simply pre-approved. She assured me that it was approved, no hard inquiries. Of course, not the case. I was not approved, my credit score has dropped and I have a hard inquiry until 2022. Thanks, Ulta!

Terrible customer service! My mom and I were shopping for my grandmother here and my younger sister around 6 was just looking at some items around the store and a lady came up to her already seeming upset with a customer and asked her if she was going to buy something in a sarcastic tone and that she couldnt be touching stuff there. I would have understood if she would have told me or my mom but telling a younger kid is just unacceptable..We are not shopping at this location again and if I could I would give it 0 stars..

Pretty bummed! I paid $21 dollars for an eyebrow wax and still had to go home and get stray hairs. I could tell the girl was having a rough morning but she smelled very strong of cigarette smoke while in my face doing my brows. Its just polite to wash your hands after a smoke before you get in someones face your working on. But did I mention $21 for an eye brow wax (I was in shock) that I had to go and correct!

Every time I come in here everyone is so helpful and so friendly! As a male who does makeup I go into makeup stores all the time and most retail workers judge me for being their but not this ulta. They usually ask to see my makeup looks and everything! They make me feel very welcomed. I highly suggest going to Ulta of Newnan! If I could 10 stars I would defenitley do so!!!

The wife and daughters love this place. I dont mind being in there for hours if it keeps my girls happy but they should have couches for us men to sit at while we wait. Especially since Im paying for $40 makeup and $20 hair products.

I used to love Ulta but whoever the older lady manager is, is horrible such rude customer service I wanted to buy an expensive hair dyer and straightener there but after that I will not be back. I’ll go to Sephora across the street or Dillard’s they are much more customer friendly and helpful.

This review is specific to the Benefit Brow Bar. Let me first start off by saying Ive been getting my eyebrows waxed since I was 15(8years) and this is the first one that I have been red, swollen, and raw the day after getting them done. My skin physically hurts from being over waxed. They lady, and I can remember her name, was very sweet, pleasant, and professional during my session but the work she did left me looking like a mess and in pain.

This store has most things I need, sometimes costs more than other stores. But I will say this, they have discontinued products that are at the Peachtree City store. That store will get a much better review than here because now I have to travel there to get certain beauty products like Physicians Formula and Clinque The people working here are nice and helpful if you need them though.

Ulta has a great selection of luxury and drugstore makeup. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and great at color matching by testing foundation on the skin, not using a machine. I like that they carry a great skincare brand like Dermalogica, which happens to be the line used by the estheticians during facial treatments. Add in the hair salon and hair care section and its a one stop shop.

Lots of good products and friendly staff who know a lot and are willing to answer any questions you might have.

I had my hair cut yesterday and it looks awful. I asked for about 3-4 inches taken off and she took off 7, which is a big deal if you have curly hair! She also kept asking to flat iron it and I finally agreed so that shed stop mentioning it only to find out she charged me $20 for it. 🙃 I will never return here.

I am a patient person and I can understand the occasional mistakes that can occur because after all we are only human. However, on several occasions the salon has made many blunders to the point of frustration. They would change my appointments without notifying me, I show up they tell me they sent me a text to confirm the changes but they didnt. So I would end up showing up at my appointments finding out that they have been changed. This happened three times. I even got turned away from one appointment because the hairdresser was still working on someone and I waited almost an hour before I was turned away. I will never go back to this ULTA again.

The staff were extremely courtesy and friendly. The young lady behind the counter helped me find what I was searching for. Definitely satisfied.

I am relieved that I am moving and this isn’t the only ulta near me any longer. The staff are not professional, always sitting around talking and gossiping about other employees. The girl checking me out did not ask if I wanted to use my rewards and when I asked, before I had swiped my card, she said I could use them at the next one and I should wait until I had more anyway (I had $9 worth). Like it’s not your business when and how I spend my points! The shelves and samples are CONSISTENTLY dirty and smeared. No one cleans up anything over there. In addition to being dirty, none of the testers or options are restocked on a regular basis. I’ve come in several days apart and found that something I wanted to try was still out. This place is just not a pleasant place to shop.

My wife had an appointment here at 10am this past Friday September 23rd. She was 10 minutes early,They never even started on her hair til 12, she was there until 449 according to the receipt. She was told the cost would be 170 dollars. She was charged 262 dollars. Last night she had to sleep with an ice pack on her head, her hair was burned and scorched, her scalp was red and she was crying. She has planned to have her hair fixed for months, and this is what she ended up with. We had to buy an oil kid for 87 dollars just to get the necessary oils back into her head. The staff here has offered no refund. I spoke with the manger personally to no avail. She basically said Im so sorry. I recommend to anyone going to this salon in the prestigious Ashley Park... DONT DO IT! YOU MAY ACTUALLY LOSE YOUR HAIR LIKE MY WIFE DID. She has very full thick hair,, for anyone knowing Victoria..which alot of people do.. you know she has very thick vibrant hair... well thanks to this place not anymore. Its been a nightmare

Never been, trusted they would give me a professional haircut, I liked the haircut I had Just an inch or so off all around were my instructions.I am 58 years old, I think this is the worst haircut I have ever had. It is Waay too short, uneven, sticks out at odd places. Whatever natural curl I had, which the person (I will not call her a stylist) had even complimented me on, she cut out with pinking shears. It will grow back, in several months. Do not make the same mistake. For half the money I would have been much happier with a cut from one of the less expensive chains.

Went in to buy some perfume and get 2 robes. I spent approximately $140.00. I was preapproved for an ulta card and offered an additional 20 percent off. I had to change my address, so for that reason the pre-approval was declined. I was being helped by a new employee(in training who was very nice, and helpful), however, the person training her was very arrogant and condescending to us and to the employee she was training. She reprimanded her in front of us, and did not apologize for costing me the 20% discount. When I said something, she curtly told me to thank the programmer for costing me the 20 percent discount. She was very rude. I felt sorry for the nice young woman she was training. I am a manager and that is not how you respectfully and effectively train employees. I will not be shopping there again. ULTA needs to reevaluate their training program and how leadership treats employees and customers. Very sad...

I showed a picture of what i wanted. Ombre hair. She turned my hair banana yellow with chops of brown in the back. I have a field goal on the back of my head. Looks nothing like the picture but does look like i got dye out of the box and tried dying my hair blonde over brown and it came out choppy and made my hair frizzy and disgusting. 200 hundred dollars ladies. If you want a bad hair job then i suggest a 6 dollar box from dollar General.

I should have ordered online instead of driving over an hour to make a special trip to attempt to spend my 2 Ulta gift cards in person.The store was completely unkept and the staff were no help whatsoever.I had my 4 month old baby with me in her car seat and was lugging her around the store, very visibly in need of assistance.No one once offered any help.I on many occasions was just standing there in the entrance holding the heavy baby car seat, her backpack, and my purse, visibly trying to look for assistance and the 3-4 staff members all saw me but none even approached me! 😩Little did they know or care I actually had lots of money to spend there in that day.I had to hunt down a staff member to ask if they honored online promotions and I asked her where the bathrooms were.The bathrooms were hidden in the back and I struggled to squeeze past all the dirty salon equipment with my baby carrier still in hand mind you.I wanted to buy some perfume, and the rollerball samples were a mess. Disgusting really. Many were in the wrong locations. I also wanted to sample some of the more expensive perfumes but there were no paper sheets out to spray and smell the testers! I didnt want to be spraying perfume all around my baby anyway, so missed out there.I was so extremely disappointed at the unhelpful, no, non-existent staff and at the poor quality of the store.I had made such a long trip out with my baby on such a hot day and had originally been looking forward to treating myself at Ulta but will never make that mistake again.I hope you never do too.😑😩I recommend only shopping online.However, how are you supposed to smell the fragrances before you buy?Im stumped.

Purchased an InStyler 2 weeks ago, which had been put back on the shelf from a customer who had returned it. There was blond grayish hair on the brush, cord was not factory wrapped, plastic cover was not on the plug. When I returned it, Ashley, manager on duty, had to be told the story twice, then could not offer a compensatory apology. Told me to speak with Lynn, the store manager on Monday. She, too, was of no value. Quality and store hygiene is obviously not a store priority, as she explained that only 80-90% of items returned are examined before placing back on the shelf. Poor quality control, poor management, poor customer satisfaction. Hope this causes folks to think twice about shopping, let alone purchasing here. Never again for me!!

Hope I got her name spelled right . She works in the newnan Ulta !

They honestly dont deserve 1 star. I made an appointment 2 weeks prior to FLYING down to GA. So I was out of town...I went on at the time they had told me my appointment was at (10am) and they said that I wasnt scheduled until 2pm...so one lady said she would do my hair, Im sorry but no. The only good person there is Chrissy for 1. So fine came back at 2pm, and apparently they texted me confirming my appointment- wrong....they texted/called an area code I dont even know where from they had down the wrong email and phone number as well AND to add onto this they messed up Chrissys schedule making her loose customers which I find ridiculous...every other salon lady left her to fend for herself and when she asked the God damn store manager for help she denied helping her and said she was leaving. Yeah no, she was up at the register after 3 hours of doing my hair....literally the worst customer service I have had in the 21 years Ive been alive (besides Chrissy who is wonderful) never go here is a God dann waste of valuable time and money. Everyone is unorganized and insanly rude. Congratulations on being one of the shittiest places in Newnan GA ❤👍

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! Unless you are wanting your hair to be completely damaged and be told that you are to blame for it. I went here yesterday wanting to get my grown out roots colored, something I do every 7-8 weeks. I had been working a lot and my normal stylist and my days did not match up for the rest of the month so I thought Id give this a place a shot, after all I just wanted my roots done, a simple process at any other salon I had been to.My hair is naturally light blonde, mind you I take very good care of it, very little heat, always moisturizer it. Normally they paint the roots, put a simple toner on the roots and Im gone. Oh was this not the case. She proceeeded to dye my roots, great they got lighter, not as light as they usually do but told me that the toner would make them lighter as well.... Boy was she wrong. She applied a toner all over my head for about 20 minutes and sat me under the dryer, as I looked at my hair ends on my phone I was MORTIFIED, my previous bleach blonde golden hair was now GREEN. She said she could fix it and that it was my fault for not understanding that their color selection had a different color of golden blonde. She put ANOTHER toner on my head about 20 more minutes it had proceeded at this point to turn BROWN, at this point I was done and ready to walk out. I had tears in my eyes my previously blonde hair, which I only wanted the ROOTS done was now completely brown. She convinced me to stay claiming the next part would lighten it a lot. Well it definently did, and Im guessing she put some sort of bleach over my ENTIRE hair for 20 minutes. She sat me in the chair after washing it and my hair was so damaged she could not brush it and was layering product after product. She went to wash another clients hair in between and I tried to brush it and could not, my hair was falling out in little clumps. I was mortified and at that point had to leave.She made me sign a chemical release stating my hair was previously dry and damaged and basically that it was my fault. I never heard of this but I just wanted to get out of there at this point I was crying. I said I would pay for her time and in her words said it doesnt even matter at this point, now I need to go get my manager, and stormed off. The manager told me that this was a standard release and that if I let her dry my hair it would be softer. I could not stay there one minute longer. I did not have to pay and am now left with a burned scalp and FRIED hair. I simply wanted my ROOTS done and now I am left with my entire head of hair fried. I am not sure how long, or if my hair will ever recover without having to cut a lot of inches off. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!

So many reasons as to why I travel to the Peachtree City one instead. This location is filthy and always understocked. The staff are all rude and unprofessional. If you dont go in with makeup on, fixed hair, have tattoos or piercings, they follow you around the entire time as if youre about to shoplift. Discrimination is so bad here, just like Newnans Sephora. If these are things that bother you like they do me, then go to Peachtree City, that store is the complete opposite! If youre looking for an amazing cosmetologist, go to Vance in PTC. :)
