This place was crazy busy tonight! I am told by the locals that it is completely normal for it to be this busy. The ice cream was good but the waffle cones are warm and fresh! They make them right there in front of you! The have interesting flavors for the adventurer type and simple ones too. The store is adorable and staff is incredibly friendly! Everyone here was working very hard!

This place is not close to my home by any stretch of the imagination, but we made a special drive for some amazing icecream.

Hands down our favorite ice cream shop! You must come here, if you havent yet WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! They are constantly switching up the flavors which makes it so fun to come. Try something new! They let you taste-test if youre curious. Share an ice cream flight with a friend, its worth it! We like to make this a regular weekly stop, you cant go wrong.

Homemade waffle cones were light and crispy. I got the waffle bowl with salt and brittle and caramelized banana ice cream. Both ice creams were beyond what I thought they would be, Husband got a red velvet milkshake which wasn’t too sweet and had delicious whipped cream. Excellent and welcoming service from the start. Will have ice cream dreams until we return.

The ice cream is made fresh on site and they have a wide assortment to choose from. The staff is mostly teenagers but they are very friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Definitely one of my new favorite ice cream shops!!

This was my first time at Rock Salt Milk Bar. I got the mexi-coco ice cream. You can tell the ice cream is made in house and I liked the kick of the cayenne in the mexi-coco. I cant wait to come back and try other flavors!

Vegan ice cream choices! Yes please! I had the chocolate coconut milk in a homemade waffle cone and it was amazing. I would love to see more dairy-free options. The new Senoia store is amazing. Prompt, friendly and courteous staff. The strawberry sorbet tastes like fresh picked berries and the gingersnap cheesecake ice cream is the perfect combination of ginger and cream. Wish I lived in Georgia so I could eat there every day.

This place was the best. They had actually unique ice cream. Blue berry cheese cake ice cream with -real- blue berries. Fresh waffle cones and all kinds of other goodies. Good prices too. Please try this place, you wont be dissapointed.

Think you’ve had good icecream? Think again. This place has somehow managed to make a cone taste like something new and exciting. Combine the absolutely delicious cone with any of their in-house made flavors of ice cream and you will meet you new favorite dessert. We enjoyed various flavors but the caramelized banana and mint chocolate was super tasty. Definitely stopping in again soon. I can only imagine how tasty a milkshake made from the amazing ice cream flavors will be.

RSMB is a total destination! My friend Nathan and I will drive a half hour to Newnan GA just for the Orange Cardamom and the Cinnamon chocolate chip!

I normally hate icecream in a cone but this place is just different. From the waffle cones to the icecream and cookies, absolutely DELICIOUS!!! My cone never got soggy. 20/10

The boy with the LONG curly hair does an excellent job of cleaning the waffle maker. Watched him clean it for a whole hour while the others cleaned the whole restaurant. So great!

Best Icecream I have had in Newnan. I was expecting price to be very high but I am pleasantly surprised with the price which was very moderate for the quality and quantity of Icecream. Its nicely located in center of downtown Newnan and easy to access by car or by walking. The staff was very friendly and were very helpful. My favorite is white chocolate rose. They also have cookies. There is also a few tables for outdoor seating. Will come again for sure.

Fantastic ice cream and you can sample it (or all the flavors that look good) before you get it. Everything in there is made in house. The staff are great and they prioritize your experience. Definitely have to give this place a go!

My family and I have been there around 5-6 times now. It has been fantastic each time. Very high quality ice cream and many unique varieties to choose from. They also have homemade cookies that are done right.The service is very polite and helpful. You can try as many of the flavors as you like, before committing to getting one. Homemade waffle cones, too! On top of all of this, the prices are very reasonable! Well definitely keep on coming back especially in the Georgia heat.

So yummy! The staff was very friendly. Despite covid, they still found a safe way to do samples. The dining area was very cute and and had ample space to sit for the small building.

If I had to dream up my ideal ice cream shop Rock Salt would be even better than anything I could imagine. Somehow our little town of Newnan ended up with the kind of ice cream shop that you picture in fancy magazines and hip cities. The ice cream is made in-house with locally and thoughtfully sourced ingredients and you can really taste it in the final product. I feel good about paying a little extra knowing I’m supporting local farms and dairies and helping employ local people (who are also very polite and helpful). Unfortunately for me I will now have one extra stop to make every time I come into town for errands or business.

This place is the absolute best ice cream shop in town! They have never let me down with the best selection of desserts and the in-house made ice cream and waffle cones! Give them a try, Im sure that youll be amazed!

Stopped in for the coconut milk chocolate (wife and daughter are dairy free) but was informed that it wasnt quite ready. They suggested a couple of delicious sorbets. I had the ghost pepper white chocolate ice cream. Delicious. Sweet and heat but not too much heat. Will definitely return. Hopefully to try the coconut milk chocolate.

I have never enjoyed ice cream out more. I went traditional with a vanilla bean and a chocolate. Both were so good. Waffle bowl/cone is a dessert on itself. I didnt get a cookie but smelling them cook was making it tempting.

This is the best ice cream I have ever had. They make their own waffle cones and they are wonderful. They are thin, flaky, and full of flavor. I live 30 minutes away but would make a special trip just for this ice cream.

Ive only been here once, but wow, I was impressed by their offerings. The waffle cones are definitely made on site and it was by far the best waffle come I ever had! I cant wait to go back! Only downside is that it does cost a bit more than other ice cream places, but not so much Ill stay away. 😉

Rock salt’s customer service is phenomenal. Their environment is clean, and they take time to really care about each individual customer not just making a profit. On top of all of that, they have absolutely incredible products at GREAT prices. If you have never eaten at Rock Salt, you are missing out on a true treat.

Ive been there twice now and its been delicious both times. Today I had the strawberry ice cream on a cone. The ice cream was amazing and the cone is tasty and light. Only knock would be sometimes the cones are a little too thin and crack but if that happens just put it in a bowl and enjoy it that way. I will definitely be back!

So first, my wife can’t have dairy and she was prepared to sit and watch me enjoy some great ice cream, but lo and behold they had DAIRY FREE options as well as Gluten Free Cones!! Y’all that is hard to find, especially in smaller mom and pop shops. She was quite happy she was able to partake in this summer treat.Second, WOW! The ice cream was absolutely fantastic. I tried the blueberry, lemon lavender, and blackberry earl grey. What flavor! What sweetness! How it hit every single taste craving that I had! I reminisced of my tasteful experience all the way home wishing it had never come to an end.I cannot wait to come back to Newnan to return to this sweet little shop!
