Bought a lockout lever and when it arrived I thought I bought the wrong one. I emailed them to let them know I made a mistake and wanted to return and placed another order for what I thought WAS the right one. Dave called me back 15 minutes later, off hours, and explained that I did in fact have the right part and talked me through what I was seeing. Excellent service and above all expectations! Will definitely buy from again!

I tried purchasing a Rockshox fork from them twice but ended up going with another seller. First time they shipped the wrong size and travel so I had to return it. Second time they shipped the right product but it arrived with oil everywhere and the oil seal was halfway up the stanchion so I had to return that as well. But they do have a great return policy!

Incredibly slow shipping. Takes them 4 days just to ship a product?! Why even bother having an online shop if you cannot keep up with shipping the products to the customers. Will not buy here again.

Our conversation went to email where Jack sent me all the info I was looking for. They had bikes in stock that were in my budget range. Lack of communication, delayed delivery.Ordered tire and was charged Mon, 8/2. Received email that tire was out of stock with a suggested replacement on Tue, 8/3. No worries, it was the same tire in all material respects from my perspective (e.g. brand, model, color, size, rubber compound). I didn’t understand there was action needed on my end. Realizing I hadn’t heard back, I called on Mon, 8/9, and confirmed that I was okay moving forward with the “substitute” tire.This is where my frustrations begin. I got no follow up correspondence confirming my order. I called back today, Tue, 8/17, to get an update and let the team know I was disappointed with my experience. I got no consolation, just a “okay, please hold.” 5+ mins later I was informed there’d been a delay with their shipping partner and that the tire was expected to ship tomorrow. To me, based on the order confirmation timing I’d initially experienced and I’ve read about in other reviews, I suspect that the rep I spoke with on Mon, 8/9 dropped the ball on placing the order and the rep I spoke with today was covering, putting the blame on the familiar “COVID, man” catch all.I’m a supporter of local bike shops and don’t buy from Amazon. I have a great relationship with my local shop and only ordered online because they didn’t have the tire in stock (they usually do). To that point, I’m sensitive to COVID related supply chain restraints, both on the supply and demand side. But the biggest differentiator for smaller shops is service and communication. I feel like the rep I spoke with on 8/17 was just covering for a mistake made instead of taking responsibility or at least offering genuine consolation. Also, its reasonable to expect some communication over an 8 day period in the event there was a delay on shipping, just to let me know they were working on it.I acknowledge there’s some speculation here on my end, but overall I feel disappointed and mistreated. I don’t expect to be a repeat customer. And since the reps I spoke with didn’t offer genuine consolation, I thought I’d leave this review so others make an informed purchase decision. It seems that the majority of reviews are overwhelmingly positive, so I recognize I’m just a loud minority.

What can I say that hasn’t been said already? This is by far the best bike shop in OC. I went here on a recommendation from a friend who purchased a bike from Pro Bike and from the very beginning I was blown away by the staff. I demoed a few bikes and talked with Nico, Matty, and Arin about what I wanted in my bike and they all provided very helpful input. Arin was amazing at figuring out how to get what I wanted at very reasonable prices.Mark (the owner) is a top notch guy as well. He’s helped me personally a couple times and it’s great to see him in there doing the work along side the rest of the crew.I recommend the shop to every person I know looking for a bike. I’m a customer for life.

Mark and his team at Pro Bike Supply are just the best. I spent a significant amount of time deciding on what new mountain bike I wanted and Mark helped walk me through a number of demos and options to find the perfect fit for me. I settled on an Ibis HD4 and could not be happier. Whether it was finding a new bike, or servicing the one you have, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I ordered a fork for my bike that on the website stated it would ship in a couple weeks. My credit card was charged immediately, but I received an email a few hours later explaining the item was out of stock, and would not ship for a couple of months instead of a couple weeks because it was back ordered. I was asked if I wanted to wait, or to be refunded. The following morning I checked their website and it had not been updated, still saying available to ship in a couple weeks. I looked some more around their site hoping to find a suitable replacement. I came across a fork for approximately 25% more, but had a feature I wanted, and to be honest I would have ordered this fork originally had I seen it. This fork is listed as in stock, ready to ship. Now I am happy because things seem like they will work out for the better. I was prepared to pay the difference and have them send me the more expensive fork. Again, I receive an email apologizing, but that fork is also out of stock. She included a link to the only fork they do have in stock for my bike, but the link is to the fork I am trying to replace. I asked for a refund, and received an email almost immediately stating I had been refunded. I checked my credit card acct more than 48 hours later, no pending refund. After another email I am assured the refund was processed, and I should be receiving it shortly, which I did. It seems as if the only part of this operation that runs efficiently is the part that takes your money. As far as keeping items in stock, or at least keeping their website updated is not a priority. Even refunds are at a snails pace, especially when compared to the lightning speed at which your credit card is charged. Never again.

Unfortunately, Pro Bike Supply disregarded an agreement I made with them on a Thursday evening and sold the bike on Friday morning without giving me ample warning or any warning that our agreement could be canceled. The manager refused to apologized and spoke down to me - highly unprofessional. I recommend using another bike shop. This Pro Bike Supply lacks professionalism through and through.

By far the friendliest, most welcoming bike shop weve been in. They didnt have what we needed in stock but were more than happy to get it ordered for us. Plus they have a shop dog so you know theyre good people.

When you advertised a item, it shall be available in the inventory or shall be advertised as a preorder or back order. Very misleading, order place, my account charge, funds withdraw from my account - next day I received a email that my order would not be fill in 2 - 3 months.Very bad business practices

These guys build the best custom bikes. All the employees ride and love all things mountain biking. Super knowledgeable, but friendly not stuck up...just want more people riding awesome bikes. Demoed a few bikes from them before starting my build. They were super patient with me after multiple visits and tons of email back and forth as I made my final decisions. Bike turned out better than I expected. Also they have fast and complete service. Even got me in and out of there a couple times on walk in service in less than an hour. Can’t say enough

Was servicing my rockshox monarch and ran into a few hiccups. Tried my go to shop in Costa Mesa and they recommended me to Pro Bike Supply due to the complexity of the service. Niko completed the process on my shock. Would recommend for any serious work on your mtb.

Disappointed. Found a 2020 Fox Float DPS shock on sale at Pro Bike Supply and placed the order. The next day I received an e-mail indicating that the shock was no longer in stock but I could wait a month with no clear ship date and get the 2021 version for the same sale price. Wonderful - I can wait a whole month during prime mountain biking season and hope to get the newer shock at some nebulous time in the future. Or, bait and switch time, they will allow me to upgrade to the shinier version for $100 more and Ill get it sooner. Still not the best part... They also charged my credit card for the shock with the transaction posting to my account. Isnt it customary to ship items before charging the credit card? I mean everyone else does but maybe Pro Bike Supply dances to the beat of a different drummer. Needless to say, I will go elsewhere in the future.

This is a great local shop that really cares about the details of the bikes and the people riding them. Dont go anywhere else. I bought my Salsa Woodsmoke there a couple years back and now end up taking my wifes bike there for service. They know a ton of about bikes, never make me feel bad about me knowing very little and I leave dialed in for the next adventure.My wife and I are headed on a 40 day cycling adventure and this is where we want to get things turned up and ready.Thank you Nico and the whole staff.

Had a great experience purchasing a bike from Pro Bike Supply. From the start, Mark was awesome to work with. He took time to answer my questions and create quotes based on various build options. I felt like he gave good advice without trying to upsell me (unlike other shops). Payment was easy, the bike was built and shipped on time. There was a minor issue with shipping, but Mark really came through and took care of it. Incredible customer service, very responsive and highly recommended. I will be shopping at Pro Bike Supply for my next bike.

Hands down the best shop for service in Orange County. I try and do most service myself and theres not many shop mechanics I trust to touch my bikes but the knowledge and service I consistently receive from Pro Bike Supply is always beyond expectation.

I visited this shop while on vacation. I emailed them about a saddle and they got back to me within the hour. I later went to the shop and was greeted by a very helpful shop worker. He found the saddle I was looking for and even provided very helpful sizing information. The shop isn’t very large but had a great selection of bikes, and gear. I’ll certainly be visiting this shop when I’m back in the area.

If you live in the Newport Beach - Cost Mesa area, I dont know why you would have your bike serviced anywhere else. To say this is The Best shop I have ever encountered is a huge understatement. My bike service was everything I asked for and more. Believe my bike is actually running better now than when it was brand new. Nico did my work but am sure all technicians are top notch - please support them as this type of service and integrity needs to be honored with tons of business...

When I received my frame, Yeti had shipped out the wrong fork with the frame, PRO BIKE SUPPLY overnighted me the correct fork from their shop to fix the problem. Worked with Mark at Pro Bike Supply over a period of 2+ months to get the bike I wanted. Ended up going with a Yeti 5.5 with many component swaps, and Mark was absolutely stellar to deal with throughout the entire process. PBS can get any aftermarket component you can think of, is very responsive to phone calls and emails, and offers a vast knowledge of everything mountain bike. I had never had a bike shipped to me until getting my 5.5, and the bike was well protected in the box and a piece of cake to put together. Couldnt be happier!

These guys are the best, definitely bringing back for all my bike needs. Niko very knowledgeable helped me out days before race had to get tubes with 80mm valve and extenders and helped me adjust my derailer & front fork.

I’ve purchased from other shops in OC, and while they’re good, the customer focus and experience at ProBike is superior. Mark, Arin and Niko are friendly and always eager to help. Prices are competitive, and their knowledge and patience to get you dialed in are impressive. I’m extremely selective about my bike and setup, to a fault, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else after the consistently great service I’ve received on my new Ripmo I bought there. Niko recently helped me fine tune my suspension and just nailed it. Overall you’ll sense the air of generosity of this shop. Can’t say enough good things about ProBike. Go check it out.

Prices are good. But shipping was sloooooww for my fox fork. Was told it would be shipped on Friday (3 days ago). Now its Weds. If it gets here a couple days after that it will have took 2 weeks from order date.Plan accordingly if you buy from these guys.

The team at Pro Bike are solution focused. If they dont have something they will take off their bike and put it on yours. Order it, and have it for you the next day. After several issues with my bike and two other shops-they have been the only shop to solve all issues of which two they flexed their muscle to warranty.Awesome custom builds, and have a wide variety of items in stock.
