Well they replaced my battery in my cell phone. The next day it ran the battery down just as quickly as the old one. Called them, they said bring it back and they will put a new one in. I did and they replaced it at no charge. This battery lasts much better

Ive been to the store several times before and received GREAT service and directions. This time I was looking online to see the price of some batteries for the business emergency EXIT lights & alarm system - no doubt I was going to your store for them, just wanted to be prepared for the price (no idea how much they cost). Your online site was super easy to navigate and showed me options with full descriptions & price list - much to my surprise it offered me a coupon for online purchase & I COULD STILL GO TO THE STORE AND PICK IT UP (or have it delivered in a couple of days ..duh Im picking it up). Went straight in with my purchase confirmation and the guys handed me the batteries I needed and reminded me about recycling - I could bring the old batteries back anytime. Ive tried everywhere in Newport News to find a certain small calculator battery, and the two men at the Turnberry Blvd store immediately produced and installed a compatible battery, and offered to reassemble the calculator case for me. I even used a coupon Ive carried for years. In the future, I will head for Batteries Plus immediately!

Ordered new Duracell car battery online (got 10% discount for ordering online), picked it up at the store about 30 mins later, installed it in store parking lot in about 10 mins, and was on my way. Very convenient & excellent battery warranty... 3 yrs replacement & additional 3 yrs prorated. Dealer wanted $176 (installed) for new battery (4 yrs prorated warranty), but I got a better battery & warranty at Batteries + for $115 and a little of my time. So far, Im very happy with this purchase!

A great place for batteries or lighting. I took my iPhone 8 with a cracked screen back in Jan it has never worked right and just died. I took it back and they sent it off to a 3rd party for repairs. That lasted just over a month before it died again. Now when I took it back they said the phone dying has nothing to do with the screen and its not covered. The cost of replacing the screen was just about $150,Dont take newer phones to this place, maybe they are good at working on older phones. Its been an expensive lesson.

If I could give this store 0 stars - I would. I took my Baby-G in to get a battery replacement & a girl pounced on my soon as I walked in the door - I told her what I wanted - & she took my watch... Yet she knew not a clue in heck how to put a battery in it. IF you dont know how to do the job, dont take the product. Then she asked some guy there & he was like yeah hey... then they cackled having some side-convo while the did lord knows what to my watch. They finally said something else is wrong w/ it because it wont light up... Then they struggled to get it back together...all the meanwhile Im thinking Dam* theyve ruined my watch Ughhh! The girl kept running her mouth to her friend so finally I said - you dont know how to get it back together? she say oh no thats no problem, but then right away I could see & hear her ask him what to do next every step of the way. I have a lifetime battery-change in another watch back when different people worked there who knew what they were doing, & something is only worth what it can CORRECTLY be fixed for... They advised I had to take it to a jeweler... Well, I found one that had it fixed, running & set in LESS than 10min... So I have found my new go-to :)Obviously these jokers didnt know what they were doing! & I will NEVER go back there again!!!!!!!! - Joy H.

They broke my phone and didnt pay me for it

If we could leave zero stars we would. Do not be fooled by high rating because of people just purchasing batteries and bulbs from this location. Their repair services are a joke. We paid $160 to have my husbands cellphone fixed, just to have the charge port replaced and a new battery. It would have only been 49.99 and 49.99 for these two services for the Galaxy. However their master tech broke the screen, told me he had to break it to fix it after the initial payment and dropoff. I was in luck since they would only charge another $60 which was the low cost of the backglass. Do you see the conflict of interest here? They told us they forgot to inform us that you cannot replace a charge port without breaking the glass, which is a lie as a quick internet search will prove. After that it got worse from here. Everytime we went to pick it up something else was wrong with it. It had no audio, then calls were all static, then he said it was a faulty screen again... funny since he just replaced it. After days without the phone and waste of our time and gas we finally gave up and said to just give it back, as is. This was after the tech then told us that a drop to the phone that occurred 2-3 years prior was causing all the problems?!? Yet it worked perfectly except for the charging port when i got there. I figured we would take it up with corporate and get it sorted out. NOPE. We have not been reimbirsed a single cent, yet its now a brick of a phone that has no external audio. Thats right. No sound for incoming calls, no watching videos, no alarm. Basically many valuable features of the once smartphone are now gone. Yet corporate nor the store manager did not find it customary to reimburse a dime for our trouble, for their techs lack of experience and accountability, or the loss of an expensive piece of property. The only resolution i have been offered is to have my phone shipped away for a week or more to some out of state facility where another of their brilliant master techs can look at it. I own a business, an hour job shouldnt become a 2 week hassle for me. I also have been nothing but understanding through this whole bull process, never once raising my voice or cussing or letting them know just how upset i am at this. This could be easily decided in court if i were to take the time. But its okay because we will let everyone we come in contact with know how crooked this place is including every website and all of our face to face customers. We want our money back so we can pay a real professional whose worth a da** to work on the phone. We shouldnt have to eat almost 200 for a phone in worse shape than when we dropped it off. Beware!!!!Update: i see that there is a response. My husband has spoken to the customer care team more than 3 times prior to this post. How is it so hard to comprehend that we no longer trust the services you have to offer and we would like to be refunded for services we paid for that were not completed in any way to a satisfactory standard??? You guys are refusing to return our hardearned money back to us and insisting that we again entrust you with our property for a 6th time. We have given ample chances for you guys to repair the phone with no resolution, now we want our money back.

Took my IPad in and paid 129.00 to have the screen replaced. Everything worked when I dropped it off. I had to call after a week of them having it and they told me the screen they installed didnt work and they were waiting for another one. Another week goes by and I get a call to pick it up, but the tech tells me that now the home button doesnt work anymore. They did try to charge me 149.00 dollars but I asked for a discounted rate because they broke the home button during the repair. Now a week or so from picking it up my wifi does not work on it. I basically paid for them to break my tablet even more than just the screen being cracked.

Worked there for a few months. The store manager is very shady. One girl that works there that tries to get sympothy from everyone around her. Claiming to have every disease known to man. You have a dork that breaks things on purpose so he can sell the parts to his sidekick. He is always talkin about his days in Detroit as a drug dealer. The owner sits in his office all day with thumb up his butt. And the District Manager plays CSR in all of the stores, because all she knows is food. Not electronics... So I get fired for telling my manager off for talking to me as if I was a militant. I left an hour early one day because I felt ill, and thats the thanks I got. I was the district leader in everything sales.Do not go to this store. Total ripoff. Do your research before you get anything at this store.You can get your LED bulbs alot cheaper online. And as far as phone repair. Be very careful. They have the cheapest repair parts. The only thing I suggest getting is a car battery there. Be careful on who installs it.

I wish I could give more stars those ladies are a lifesaver. I have a ford that had MyKey activated at the dealership and was told that it would be from $200-$350 to get this off. MyKey is a safe guard for new drivers/teens the radio wont play unless seatbelt is on and wont go above 14 in volume. And the speed limit is set to 80 at 75 it starts beeping and gives pushback. This could be frustrating if your 39. They took care of it, I now have 2 keys and my car doing what I want not me doing what it wants. And didnt even pay $60. Im so excited...

The Hampton,Va location was nice all around thats where I brought the external charger but had to take it back to this Newport news location but its been about 3 weeks i had to wait on a refund check and its not about the money like i could have kept the charger for all of this. I gave the charger back in excellent condition why i wasnt treated like that with my refund....So i call the Newport news location and a lady named Lisa was absolutely rude cutting me off while talking just basically rushing me off the phone I never called more than twice to check on my refund Its my money I woild have been fine if they gave me the charger back. Worst customer service ever and I been in retail for 8 years no matter what the problem is if I give you respect I should gain it in return.

Short story: Angela went out of her way to help me, found my proof of purchase in their system and because of her Ill be ridein the wind this weekend. Thank you Angela. Hope I spelled your name right. DEEP SEA!I purchased an Odyssey pc-545 motorcycle battery from this store several months ago. I was in the process of moving and figured I would probably lose the receipt. The clerk offered to put my info in their system so I would not have to worry about losing the receipt. After taking the battery in to get checked the clerk tells me a cell has gone bad. Not a problem just look me up in your system and let me exchange for another battery, yeah. Not so much. The clerk finds my info but no proof of purchase, figures. Now Im stuck with an expensive paperweight. I should have kept track of the receipt, yup. Wont make that mistake again, at least at Amazon I can get a digital receipt. Tip, buy online and never count on fading ink receipts.

They told me to come pick up my replacement batteries that were being covered under warranty and then when we got there they gave us back the old batteries and told us that they were not covered under warranty.....Wasted my time and payroll.
