Great place, friendly staff. Was on a national run last weekend, 3100 miles total to and from home. Had one small issue with my Challenger chargers ports. Went in Saturday afternoon and it was taken care of right away. Thank you for your service. Also, they have a stock of Indian bikes on hand if anyone looking. In TX theyre hard to get. Check them out..
It was a wonderful experience, I live the Indian brand, style and feel.
The service team gives the best service. They came picked up my Chief Vintage for the first service and recall. I was talking with the owner a few days earlier about a stage 2 kit.I call and told them to do the stage 2 kit they did and brought my bike back 3 days later just as clean as when they picked up. They kept me updated everyday on progress waited for a non rainy day to return my bike .They go above and beyond to give you the best service, by the way it is not like I live across the street I live in Richmond Va. Everyone should use there service department. Thank you guysFor the great job, the stage 2 job really brings my bike to life with some attitude.
Staff is exceptional. No pressure. Whatever pressure you feel comes from not knowing which bike to take home. Nice selection of bikes on hand. No problems with service even after 2 years running. Best bikes on the road today. Have had more hders eating our dust than any prior. The average Joe too. I was once an hd fan. Not anymore!
I needed a battery and they prepped one immediately. I picked it up the next day, had a great chat with Ed, the owner, and their service guy. Lots of good vibes. Sincere and honest. Great Indian motorcyclists! Beautiful new building, lots of bikes in inventory.
The positive reviews you see about the service department are the real deal. I came in for a last minute tire change and Donny treated me like I was their only customer. Sevice like this, especially with something as simple and a low dollar job as a tire change, is not seen many places anymore. I believe many local dealers are shortsighted in the area of service, this type of awesome service will have a lot to do with why my next bike will likely be an Indian. Thanks again Donny!
Salesman was not helpful at all. He made me feel like I was waisting his time. Went to Hampton Roads Harley Davidson to by my bike.
Is motorcycles. Theyre pretty. Staffs got jokes too.
Friendly staff. Not pushy. Nice bikes. I might even buy one within the next couple months.
I love my Chieftain, and the crew at the SEVA Indian dealership are awesome.
Very friendly staff, good selection, very nice building-new but made to look old like the original Indian factory.
Simply the best dealership in every way!!
Test rode a 2020 Icon and was interested in the bike. But when it came down to talking numbers business was conducted standing at the register like checking out at 7-11. Lost interest in the the bike and dealership quickly.
Bought a used bike from them. They made the whole process simple and painless. Would definitely recommend to others!
I stopped in to find one of their local shirts one of the smaller dealerships Ive been in but very nice.
Outstanding service! I felt comfortable and welcomed the moment I walked through the door. The staff was very knowledgeable. One of a kind. Thank you all who assisted with my purchase. CHALLENGER DARKHORSEI love it.
Great customer service from owner and staff. Great selection of bikes. We went to get parts for wifes Scout.
It was a good price and fast install day and I will ride safely again
Deal of the year by all accounts! I wasnt even really in the market after the tax man beat me down this year. Window shopping at best. i was checking local inventory online and came across a used HD wide glide with ridiculously low miles at a ridiculously low price. Such a good deal I had to see it in person to find out what was wrong with it. What I found was a pristine bike with tons of upgrades! It was so nice it even got my wife to sign off on running numbers through the bank! I checked rates at my bank and 8% was the best for a used rig. What does Amy come up with? 3.2% ! Unbelievable! I went from pipe dreams window shopper to killer deal bike owner real quick. The entire staff helps out at this place. No pushy sales folks. Whoever is available will show you the bikes, very low pressure easy process. The bike needed a safety inspection and they told me Monday it would be ready, it was. I found out at the end of the deal that the owner is a retired vet. I always like supporting veteran owned businesses when I can so that was a plus as well. Professional staff, low pressure, sweet bikes, great deals . Im not sure much could be done to make a bike purchase any better.**Update 10JAN2021**I actually traded the bike mentioned above back to Indian SEVA in Oct 2017 for a brand new Indian Springfield. I had 3 good years and almost 20k mi of fun on that bike. The new challenger came out and It simply has everything I want in a bike. I looked at them all! The Goldwing I’m sure is reliable, but the styling is very moped like and the bags are a joke (tiny). The BMW K1600-B is very powerful, but too many reports of stability issues at anything above 60MPH and reliability issues ( no go). The HD Road Glide is what I looked at the most heavily as I prefer American options if available. The price of the RG special and the Challenger limited is neck and neck. I’m not a brand guy or a Harley hater, but the Springfield gave me more for my coin against the Road King back in ‘17 so that’s what I bought. The Challenger is on a whole new level. I can’t imagine how much above purchase price you’d have to spend to get an RG to be in the same league as the Challenger, but it’s A LOT! Cams, intake, exhaust, suspension work, brake upgrades, sound system upgrades would all be needed just to get to where a stock Challenger is. The decision was pretty easy as to what the best bang for my buck was, so there’s a ‘21 Challenger in my garage now. Would I do business with Indian SEVA again? This is my 3rd bike from them, so goes without saying.***Update to the update 12MAR21***I’ve had my Challenger now for 2 months and have clocked just shy of 1500mi. on it. I have to admit, I lack the self control needed to not ride this bike like a maniac. I’ve tried to go on nice leisurely rides, but every damn time the light turns green I have to rip it. It’s a sickness. Smart Lean Tech works! she hooks up and goes! No disturbing my line or unsettling of the chassis. The PowerBand audio has an auto adjust feature that adjusts the sound at a stop so I’m not that A-Hole who makes everyone else listen to my poor taste in music, but kicks up automatically so I can hear it loud and clear on the highway. The power windshield is a feature I’ve never had before and honestly I use it every time I’m out. Down in town and up on the highway. Hampton Roads has some pretty trash potholes and torn up pavement and I’ve yet to hit anything that felt harsh or upset the bike. This is the first American heavy I’ve owned that I don’t feel needs anything other than exhaust (for tone) out of the box. I am a man child so of course I’m going to continue digging for more power, but this bike certainly doesn’t lack in that area from the factory. I’ve been stuck in HRBT traffic jams several times and never have to worry about my bike overheating like I have in the past. The bike is just an absolute ripper! Comfortable, fast, great handling, solid storage capacity, good sound system. I can’t think of anything more I would want out of a road bike.
This place is awesome. I love being in here, and just absorbing the beauty and power and friendship of the Indian world. Customers come in and just want to answer questions and talk stories of their motorcycles. I am looking at an Indian Chief Vintage. I was speaking with another customer today and he described this place best. Its a coffee shop atmosphere surrounded in gorgeous bikes. I cant wait for my finances to allow me to be a part of this great family. I hope everyone buys an Indian here, the smiles created will last a lifetime.
Backs out of commitments, go to Harley! Its amazing that the Manager here has such a bad reputation. Dont go to this location
I bought my 2019 Indian Roadmaster Motorcycle in July. My wife bought me a Backrest and bracket from a local Indian dealership in Chesapeake. I could not remove the hold down seat screw and was told i needed to buy a new rear fender. I spoke with Dave, The General Manager at Newport News Indian. A fender was ordered, and after installing the fender, and backrest, I was on my way. I wont go anywhere but Newport News to get my bike serviced after this! These guys do outstanding work! I was given the opportunity to test ride the 2020 Indian Challenger motorcycle, what a great ride! If you havent had a chance to ride this awesome bike, do it soon! Tell Ed, I said Ride On!.
I had a great experience at Southeastern Virginia Powersports. All of the staff were awesome, and not only during the time of purchase, but they continue to make you feel like family. The deal i received on my 2019 Indian Chieftain Darkhorse was hands down the best Ive ever seen. Truly a outstanding crew.
Love this place. The owner is my brother, however it wouldnt matter. The building is clean, atmosphere is spot on, staff is top notch, and event planning for the community is constant. You can even stop in for a cup of espresso. Need I say more!!!
I have owned 27 different Harley Davidson motorcycles since 1995. I came into this dealership in October of 2017 as a skeptic. Upon meeting the owner, Ed I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Indian brand. Upon talking to him and riding one I traded my Harley for a 2017 Indian Springfield. I have never regretted it! I came in as a skeptic, left as an Indian owner and made friends with Ed and the rest of the staff. Ed is a patriotic Navy veteran. Never mistake his passion for anything other than what it is! The Indian brand far superior to the other brand. I was an avid H- D enthusiast until I discovered this Iconic brand. I have a Harley tattoo on my back to prove it. When someone comes in to check out the bikes Ed is quick to point out why Indian is superior to other brands. He speaks the truth! I would encourage everyone to come in and check out the Indian brand and this dealership! They are great people and the bikes are second to none!
I rented the bike for a weekend from this dealership. What a pleasant experience. Everybody from the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all my questions about the bikes. Now I am considering to buy Indian. And if I decide to do so, I will not hesitate to travel 400 miles to get my motorcycle from this dealership.
Purchased a Indian Scout Bobber, called about the brake recall due to possible brake malfunction, was recommended by this place to “Ride down” 80 miles on the interstate because “should be fine”. This is how much they care about their customers.
Great day of demo rides. Awesome bikes.
Took my Roadmaster in for service. These are great people. They were friendly and fun to speak with. Everything was handled in a timely manner. I look forward to my next visit.
Great place to deal with, great staff, highly recommended
As you approach this dealership its just a WOW looking building. Inside is just as impressive. Greeted right away by a friendly crew. Bonus they have an AWESOME Dealership tee shirt.
We just left the the store and I have to say it is clean, shows off what they have to offer beautifully, and I am fully impressed. The staff was not only nice to us but they treated our daughter so nicely and even gave her a piece of licorice (after asking me of course if it was okay). This store is amazing and Im sorry we didnt find it sooner. My husband owns an Indian motorcycle and the place we go to is eh. This place is amazing!
Great selection of the finest motorcycles in the world along with a friendly and fantastic staff. Service department is awesome as well.
Great people who provide outstanding service. Just go if your in the market for a new or used motorcycle, accessories and apparel. No pressure atmosphere and the staff will happily accommodate you.
Rented a bike from these guys for a weekend recently. Really impressed by their friendliness, knowledge and the way they got me sorted with the bike quickly. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to rent a bike and are in the area.
Its like this dealership has no desire to sell parts. When you finally do get an actual parts person, they really dont try to help in any way. Sorry guys I am taking my money elsewhere.Response to the owner:Not having the part wasnt the problem. Being told you do have the part, driving an hour only to find out you dont actually have the part... that is the problem.
Wow! Thats really the only word that sums up this dealership. They are experts on delivering low pressure, soft sales, as they truly personalize the shopping experience and incorporate you into their family. Another review here stated that they didnt care if they sold you a bike or not but I would argue they care so much, that they will make sure its the right bike for the buyer, before even making the deal. I am an absolute pain in the *** and these fine people have dealt with me for 8 months of being shopped against Harley and a few others. I have haggled at every turn and consumed my fair share of those delicious cappuccinos (Yummy!!). No other dealer bothered to maintain the conversation without the hard sale, emotional pitch, that is typical of every other dealer Ive seen. The Team at SEVA has demonstrated their passion for the experience, family, and motorcycle culture far exceeds their demands for the bottom line. Indians are priced pretty similarly at any Indian dealer, but here the people and their promise, the integrity and intention, are what make all the difference. Im excited to pick up my new Chief Vintage on Friday to kick off the riding season!!! Thank You Indian Motorcycle of Southeastern Virginia!! Ed, John, Marcus, and the whole team- You MADE the Difference!
Great and incredibly helpful staff. A real honest no pressure atmosphere. The service dept is great as well. Willing to actually talk to you about your machine and not talk down to you about it (I dont ride an Indian).
Visiting from out of town, just looking and shopping... Great dealer and showroom - wider selection of Indians than any other dealer I have seen! Met the owner, seems like a great guy - we chatted for quite some time. Friendly engaged dealership, if I lived anywhere in the area this would be my dealer!
I cannot express how much I appreciate both Ed and Maria, and Amy, Dave and ALL the crew here... the personal touch they give to every person who walks into their business is top notch.Jist one small example...My husband had one of his other bikes serviced here. Ed came to the house to pick it up, and was even going to bring it back home for us, due to a tire issue we werent sure if we were ready to fix. He was more concerned with my husbands safety than anything else. Not whether he could sell us a tire.Every time we walk in, its a hug, a cappuccino, and some good friendly banter, regardless of whether we are there to buy something, or just to check something out...These people at this dealership go OUT OF THEIR WAY to do what they can to make you feel like part of the family. Ive been to different dealerships throughout the Tidewater area, but NONE treat you with as much consideration and helpfulness as this one. I would say to ANYONE considering buying a bike, new or used, purchase here... You will NOT regret it.
It was great. The people greeted me as soon as I walked in and were very knowledgeable about the bikes. It smelled great in there and I enjoyed my experience with this place
My experience at this store was no more than amazing. The staff is so knowledgeable about all of the bikes. They take their time with you in every aspect, from the choice that you make to the financing to the delivery. They are awesome they really care. If you have questions about the bike you can call and bring it in at any time. Go on in and look around the Indian Family is the BEST.
I have had the pleasure of visiting three dealerships so far, and they are the best. The number and variety of inventory, the layout and display of merchandise, welcoming and helpful staff, and their relentless devotion to customer satisfaction is impeccable. They were extreemly helpful and walked me through the entire purchase process to get me the best deal on my my new Chieftain. Their support after the sale is equally fantastic.
Jennice and I, Don, spent a lot of time with Ed, Maria and crew before I bought my Indian. I finally decided, and they can tell you it took a while, I wanted a 16 Chieftain Dark Horse. Unfortunately they didnt have one when I was able to buy. I ended up buying from another dealer ONLY for this reason. There is nothing wrong with the dealer I bought from but Eds business is better, without question. Friendliest most up front bunch Ive seen at a motorcycle dealership. No pressure sales staff. You want an Indian go see Ed. Thanks Ed and crew for working with me.
Best of the Best !I wanted to purchase a 2017 Indian Springfield but the dealer didnt have one in stock. Solution: Ed, the owner personally located the bike in another state; Ed drove with a trailer to the coordinating dealer picked up the bike and returned to Va with a delivery including options being added, e.g., cams, exhaust, air filter etc promised in 3 days. Good to his word, I took delivery of my new shinning Springfield and couldnt be happier. Ive owned 9 Harleys, purchased new and never had the dealer purchase experience I had at Indian Motorcycle of Southeastern VA ! These guys are first class and I highly recommend.
This is how a motorcycle dealer should be. I live within walking distance to my local Indian dealer but i will drive the 45 mins to come here. The staff is very friendly and the service tech is one of the best in the area. If you want to be treated right and your bike fixed correctly, this is where you go.
I have had several experiences where something had come up or was done improperly. However, the situation always gets rectified and I am taken care. Nothing but love for this place.
Awesome people, friendly staff. Test ride was easy to setup. 2020 Challenger definatley a performance bagger!
Super friendly staff! Had a great ride with Dave and phone conversation with Ed. I cant wait to get my next bike from them.
Sales and service people a very friendly and knowledgeable. Theyre not pushy and when I did decide to buy they made it fun. I recommend Indian motorcycle to anyone looking for a bike.
Ive been to many dealerships over the years but have to say Ed and his team are top notch. There knowledge and customer service makes the other dealerships Ive dealt with in the past look like a bunch of disorganized rookies. Hard to believe they have only been open a year. You would think theyve been around for a decade. If quality and customer service matter then I would highly recommend IMSV. PS Call and do a demo ride.
The best Indian Dealership with the best, I say again, the best customer service anywhere! As a two time customer (2016 Springfield and 2017 Chieftain), I am qualified to make this comment. My name is Westley Rios and I approve this message. Lets make Indian motorcycles great again.*******Original review from March 2016 when I purchased my first Indian from Indian Motorcycles of SEVA********Not much of a writer but boy, what a bunch of professionals at this dealership. They treated me as if I were their only customer and I was all that mattered during the entire process. From the first phone call placed, in order to purchase a Springfield - crazy considering I have never owned a bagger and I purchased it via phone - to arriving two days later to take delivery; the service was exquisite. The staff certainly value and respect the customer, for example: they had never seen me prior to delivery day since I made my purchase via phone. When I arrived, my Springfield had a SOLD tag on it (my name included) and as I started to play with the bike, the owner walked over and kindly said please do not touch the motorcycle, someone has already purchased it. What!? You cant get better than that! They were protecting that Springfield from tire kickers until the purchaser [me in this case] arrived to whisk it away with not even a fingerprint on it. Okay, that is enough for now. I will certainly recommend this dealership to anyone I know that might be interested in a motorcycle of any type. Side note: Super happy with my new Springfield and after 26 years of sport bike riding, I am in a league of my own now. I look forward to meeting some of you Indian owners; although that sounds wrong.
Owner Ed and staff are wonderful. Very knowledgeable. Ill be purchasing an Indian in the future.
I pass another dealership to come here. Good people and great service. Worth the extra 45 minutes drive for me.
Went to get a part for the dark horse my dad rode along the cashier was super nice she fixed my Daddy a cappuccino with a biscotti he enjoyed it so much he bought a cool Indian hat 🧢 but didn’t have the touch up paint for the Dark horse 😢
Extremely nice people, beautiful motorcycles, a service manager that knows bikes and cares. Last but not least, they have a state of the art espresso machine that brews a cup of coffee that will send Starbucks all the way back to Seattle. 😊
Friendly staff, helped me get set with a motorcycle safety course. Place shows very well and very clean. No pressure to buy, just good conversation about bikes.
Was there for a couple hours and learned a lot about the Indian line from Maria and Ed! Great people! When I make up my mind on which one I’ll be back. :)
A great Indian Dealership with a helpful staff and plenty of variety. Without a doubt the best Indian dealer I have been to.
Walked in one evening when it was only the owner and one or two other employees, he asked me the obvious question of that if I was in the market for a bike. I proceeded to tell him I have had several Harley Davidson motorcycles and he changed his tune. He pretty much raved about how Indian is so much better than harley Davidson due to the whole Americana thing.. blah... blah... blah.. well he stated several things about both motor companies that were not at all factual. He even said that other indian dealers werent up to par with him.... I get the whole competition thing but the way the owner went about it wasnt at all professional. Trying to say your bike is better economically is false due to the fact that compared prices on my phone as we were talking. This is the second Indian dealer Ive been to where the ego is just ridiculous. Get off your high horse. Tell me what actually makes your product better based off of FACTS and actually sell it to me. There is a reason why Ive had 5 harleys. Good customer service, good customer relationships, and personally little to no issues with my motorcycles.
I love this dealership and its owners and employees! Love my Indian chieftain dark horse too!
My Dad just bought a 2016 Springfield and i love riding on the back! Its a great bike and people at Indian of SEVA were really great. They were extremely helpful and patient through out the buying experience. I recommend the dealership to anyone looking to buy a much bette bike than Harley Davidson!
Beautiful bikes there..real friendly folks
The entire staff at Indian motorcycle of Southeast Va are the best around. The most friendly and professional people I know. Service in all areas is second to none. If you go anywhere else you are doing yourself a disservice. I would also suggest that if you purchase an Indian motorcycle that you join IMRG of SEVA.
Great people always helpful
Very welcoming establishment. Much pride in there products. Great staff.
First class team and first class service, have to thanks for the help Dave provided.
Just visited with a customer. Very nice mototcycles.
Very clean, good set up of display floor. People are great!
Simply the best!!! Family atmosphere, great selection and the best staff you will find any where!
The greatest family atmosphere I have EVER seen in a motorcycle shop!! ❤
Very friendly staff
Really nice showroom, welcoming and knowledgeable folks.
A fantastic selection of Americas first motorcycle manufacturer.
Nice place, prices were high
Cant say enough kind things about the owners and Dave. We spent an hour just looking and hanging out and talking. If I were in the market for another bike, Id definitely patronize this place!
Clean store, friendly staff, good inventory.
Terrific bikes and friendly people. Place was hard to get out of the parking lot
I have rode and owned and built Harleys since 1980 its a great long lasting motorcycle BUT, now Indian is back And I believe to stay ! After taking a ride on a 2015 Indian roadmaster I was sold on its smooth suspension extreme detail and styling not to mention it is Americas 1st motorcyle company, so I traded in my Harley ultra and havent regretted it since ! Just 3 words to you all, SMOOTH, POWERFULL and QUALITY, thats a INDIAN.
I love everything about this place
The owners and employees here treat you like family. Ive never been to a motorcycle dealership quite like this one.
Very informative about the new and improved Indian lineup really enjoyed my visit !
Nice people and great store
They are the best at service and really understand what service means.
Friendliest people in town ! ☺️ 👌
Good service and great selection
Great owners, great staff, great deal
