I can’t reply to what the owner said but it was false! I literally paid $11 for a box and that’s it! They didn’t even pack my stuff inside it! They stated that it would be another fee for them to pack my stuff, so I paid 11$ for a box and $4 for some tape then proceeded to pack my package myself! Avoid this location at all costs! USPS, FEDEX anything but UPS!

Went on a Saturday to get documents notarized and was told they don’t staff a notary on Saturdays despite advertising notary services with no specifications on when they would not have one. When do they think people would be coming to UPS for notary services anyway?! Then when I asked about another UPS store I was told that they are independently owned(fine) and they couldn’t tell me where another one was (not fine). Terrible customer service, will not go there again!

They overcharge for everything at this location! A box was $11! A regular cardboard box!!!! Then I had to pay $35 to ship a box when I know it would’ve cost under $20 with usps. It’s a shame the USPS store here closes at 5 or I would’ve definitely gone there. It’s a shame how high these prices are, it should be illegal!

Excellent service by employee.Helped me with copying and multiple mailings regarding sensitivetime documents, carefully checking each address and looking up information to ensure proper mailing. Took time with each person even when they were under strict covid guidelines. Wore mask, utilized hand sanitizer and offered all individuals assistance. Insured proper number of individuals inside store during my 2 visits.Very pleasant to each person. I just had eye surgery and was in arm and leg brace post injury and they managed to work with me and others efficiently. I appreciate their service and kindness.

We visit this store on a regular basis as always returning something back to an online vendor. The employees are so pleasant, friendly and helpful staffing. My husband and I feel right at home when stopping by as they definitely remember us!!

My experience here was absolutely dreadful. I was told by Apple to drop my iPad off at a UPS location and they could pull all the info needed with a simple repair ID. The gentleman couldn’t figure it out for whatever reason and insisted that it was an error on Apple’s part, while acknowledging he had never processed a transaction like this before. So I took his advice and called Apple to confirm or restate all of the details to find that it was just certainly an error on your employee’s part. This guy treated me like I was an inconvenience for not coming into his store with a package labeled and ready to be shipped. Sorry I needed your help dude, that’s what I thought I was at the store for, your “expertise”. After telling me he couldn’t help me and saying “next in line” before I could ask my next course of action, I went to the Kiln Creek location (exact same type of store) and was in and out hassle free within 5 minutes, and I wasn’t even the first person in line.

If I’m paying online for a drop off. Why am I waiting in the line for. If I’m gonna wait in line why is there online pay for drop off. When I drop of the mail you don’t have to have look at it right away. You could do it after the line is over. In conclusion UPS don’t have drop of if you can’t accept drop off

For some reason UPS will not leave my Amazon orders at my home. Which means I have to go quite frequently. I went to pick a delivery which was attempted on 5/17. 4 days later I was informed they didnt have it. They RETURNED the package to Amazon on the 17th. My only option was to re-order the item! On top of this, the older gentleman is frequently rude and makes no effort at customer service. would give 0 if i could.

Nothing wrong with the UPS store concept, but the owners son is this location is the ABSOLUTE worst. His customer service is horrendous and he single handedly has lost my business. I will drive out of my way to go to another UPS location and will encourage anyone who has a mailbox there to go elsewhere. They simply do not care about the customer experience. Its just horrible witha capital H

I took an amazon package there to be returned for a refund but 2 weeks later amazon never received the package. I talked to the store and the explained that all amazon packages go in a box and not shipped out until the box is full so it can be 2 to 3 weeks before they are shipped out. Do not take anything there that you are expecting a refund back on.

We came to this store location multiple times for Printing and Notary services because the location is convenient. One of our visits, we were able to get 1 of our documents notorized without issue but she refused to notorize the 2nd document claiming that nobody in Virginia would sign that. We ended up going across town to another notory that did not give us any hassel. Today, we returned to have something notorized at 1:24pm. The notary Jacqueline was there but gets off at 1:30. When asked if she would be able to take care of our notary, she said to queue up but no matter what, she is leaving at 1:30 (there was 5 people ahead of us). She had such an attitude when asked if she would still be able to get us in before she leaves if we queued up, her exact works you can queue, but I am leaving at 1:30 regardless. Will never come back to this UPS store because of that woman and her horrible attitude towards the customers.

Very awkward experience using the shredding service. Associate took them and inserted into the bin himself, as well as taking the rest to the back to the other bins. I am paying high dollars for a service where I should be the only one touching my confidential documents, putting them into the bins myself (as all other shredding services allow), and be fully guaranteed with peace of mind that they stay secured until the shredding truck comes.

DO NOT USE THIS STORE OR SERVICE. The lady for one is rude and the drivers WILL NOT deliver on the first try. I work from home and have up cameras that caught the driver just leaving a missed note instead of knocking. I told the manager this and she told me i still cant get my package redelivered even though the driver NEVER made an attempt. I was even willing to pick it up from the access point on the note but the driver did not even take it there either. They will refuse to release your package and give you the run around. You are better off with fedex or DHL. MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL THESE 1 STAR REVIEWS, THEY WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY FROM THESE CROOKS!!

Ive been doing business here for six months. The staff recognize me and are quick to retrieve packages or make labels. I need to store, ship, and receive mail securely, and personalized service at a fair price is what I get here every time. Not far from the USPS if you have outbound APO/FPO mail.

There are always two truths to a story and I can understand from the outside how it could have been busy and an oversight for the UPS lady behind the counter where she didnt explain. I would have been feeling the same way. However, your response was a good one and makes me think more for your store and more about keeping a an open mind when something doesnt seem right. Remember, everyone, your moment at the counter is your time and money. Its our right to ask questions during our exchange. 😊

I will never return to this store. I brought in a package that contained a shot glass and plastic spoon rest. Nothing heavy or large. I wrapped it in bubble wrap, had it snug in a small box. I asked for the associate to ship that in a bag or UPS box thats appropriate, but told her it was already secure. She opened it after asking permission to see the contents. She commented on how nicely it was packaged and protected. She walks away to box it up and returns with my box emptied and my package in a new box three times the size of the original box. She asks how soon I need it there. I said I want the cheapest shipping, its no rush. She says $12. Then just before I sign, she adds on a charge for the box, a service fee, and a materials charge for bubble wrapping what was already bubble wrapped. She quickly says I bubble wrapped it because its a fragile gift. Your total is $24.64, sign the screen. It was spoken so fast, the line was long behind me, I didnt know what just happened. It went from $12, which was already an outrageous cost to double that in a mere 2 seconds. She stood there smiling as she just ripped me off. A $10 gift that I had taken the time to wrap nicely, that would have cost around $7 to ship at the post office, has now cost $24.64 to ship. Never again! This store knows how to smoothly and legally steal from your pockets.

I dont even want to give this place 1 star. Customer service was awful and I was completley mistreated by an employee who obviously didnt want to be there anymore. The staff is so unprofessional and the young man at the counter treated me so nasty. The only words I could even get out when being verbally attacked was to tell him that there was no reason to be upset and mistreat me that way. That only made the young man more upset and he raised his voice to make it an entire store scene and tried to make it seem like I was attacking him. Other employees just stared and didnt care that this was happening. Im still in disbelief at how awful I was treated and I still dont even know why. Im still in shock. Very shameful.

If you come to this store expecting to get help forget about it, they didnt helped me figured out hot to return an item trough their sistem with a label that got sent to me trough their own sistem. They dont provide a good service, I had shipped from other stores and the other store where actually helpful figuring stuff out. Unprofessional. I did not recieved this level from Amazon, this labels comes from ups and they are printed from the ups web page, it suprises me you dont know your own product, its cool that you tried to shield your employees attitudes by blaming the customer, great business ethic if you ask me, if your employees dont know how to help a customer they obviously need some training, instead of making excuses for your employees you should probably take a good look at your business operation and ask your self if your service is good enough

Worst experience I’ve had with a business. The lack of customer service, professionalism, and accountability severely diminished my faith in this businesses.BLUF: I paid $50.84 to ship a package. I verified the to and from on the paperwork and the store took responsibility of the package and placed the label on the package. A couple of days later, my package was returned to the store. The reason given by the employee was the label was damaged. What happened next is where my frustration and disappointment started. The employee (Ereka) stated “it’s not their fault and they cannot refund my money and I would have to pay for the package to be shipped again.”I’ve contacted UPS headquarters/customer relations and they referred me back to the store to resolve the issue. Needless to say, nothing has been resolved. UPS headquarters and the employee (Ereka) pointed fingers at each other, but I’m out $50.84 and have not received a follow up phone call (as promised) from UPS headquarters or the UPS store on Jefferson Avenue.

My wife and I have been conducting business with this store for years, utilizing their services to send the majority of our packages as well as having thousands upon thousands of copies made over the years and using their notarial services but will never step foot in this particular store again.This location nickels and dimes for every little thing, which while somewhat off putting is something we can live with because after all they are in business to make money and some forms of shipping are obviously more profitable for them than others, however, recently an employee has begun claiming that the USPS machine is down whenever he’s left in charge of the store, stating that “it’s out of ink.” In the last 6 weeks, this lazy boned, slack jawed daffodil has tried to pusuade me to ship UPS using this garbage excuse on 3 separate occasions and he’s clearly lying about the machine not working. Of all the places in the world that SHOULD be stocked up on ink cartridges for their shipping machines, and yet this location falls flat on its face? I think not. As previously stated, we will never step foot in your establishment again.Jaqueline (the owner) should seriously consider making some policy changes to the way her employees conduct themselves as this unprofessional, dishonest behavior is costing much more than a 1 star review in the long run. My wife and I, who live 5 minutes from this location, would rather drive a half hour to Suffolk than to use this location ever again.

I went to return my package from Amazon which should have been free as it always have been, They were trying to hold $20 on my account and charge me 2.50 for printing. Worst service ever. The Caucasian lady was very rude and I didn’t like the way she explained it to me because just two days ago I went to another UPS and all I paid was 250 for the printing and they took my package but all of a sudden they want it also take $20 or put it on hold

If I could give zero stars I would. Went out of my way after work (after calling to confirm about notary) and the man(older gentleman) who claims to do it then says he has no idea how to do it! Customer service was horrible, he made no eye contact with me at all and huffed about me being in there. I will never return and I will not refer anyone to their either.

You have a notary service that does not notarized all documents. I call earlier and ask if your notary can handle an I-9 I’m told yes and then no in the store. UPS is trash, FedEx is better...lol USPS is better.

Recently, my wife visited this UPS store to send a gift to friends on Fripp Island, SC. Since our friends have to pick up their mail on a different island some 15-20 miles away, she opted for UPS. UPS does deliver to our friends house. My wife had the clerk (who turned out to be the owner) box and prepare the package for shipping (c. $12). Since a few days extra wouldnt make much difference, my wife asked for the cheapest rate to ship it (a little over $5). The estimated delivery date was one week ahead.Seventeen days later, the US Postal Service returned the package to our house with a label saying they couldnt deliver it. Of course, they couldnt. It was addressed to the house, not to the PO box.When I returned to the UPS Store with the package, two friendly employees seemed perplexed that it was handled this way (sent by US Mail) and said I would have to talk to THE OWNER who would call me when she arrived at 3 PM or earlier. I didnt hear from her, so I called her back after 5 PM and explained to her what had happened. She immediately went into defensive mode saying that my wife wanted the cheapest rate and that she (owner) chose US mail because it was cheaper.A store front like this is in business to make life easier, not more difficult, for customers. This was just one of a dozen chores my wife handled when she shipped the package. When she left the store, she checked it off her list and went on to the next thing assured that this item was done.I have taught customer service skills to company employees, and it is a joy to find those who can solve problems and make customers feel that the business values them. THE OWNER (who waited on my wife when she brought in the package) could have avoided the problem quite easily by asking whether the postal address was the same as the physical address (for many people it isnt. In her business THE OWNER should have known this.) She could have also mentioned that the cheapest rate was with US Mail and asked my wife if this was ok. She didnt do this.After listening to THE OWNER conduct a one-sided argument trying to make it clear that my wife--not THE OWNER--was to blame, I asked her how we could solve the problem now. She said she could send it UPS and asked whether I wanted to handle it by phone. I said that I would like this and asked about cost. She said I could use my credit card. Then, I asked whether she would allow any credit for what we had already paid for. Without answering my question, she immediately returned to the same argument that my wife, not THE OWNER, was to blame. I told her to stop the transaction. I later picked up the package and drove it about a mile to the real UPS.I have emphasized the title her employees used to describe the only prospective problem solver in the business. Again, from a customer service perspective, it would have been easy for her to simply say these words, Im sorry, I mishandled this. If you want me to send it UPS ground, Ill get it right out, and your friend will have it by Friday. If she really wanted to raise the bar on her companys reputation, she could have offered to credit us with the cost of the original postage. If she wanted to paint her customer service credentials across the sky, she could have offered to eat the cost of the UPS fees to resend the package. This would have earned her a positive review (forgiveness of her mistake would have been easy if she had tried to make good on what we thought we had bought). She would have easily made back her money on the Christmas presents we will now be shipping elsewhere.I have read with interest her responses to the critical reviews. They all have in common the theme: “Im sorry YOU didnt like what we did.” There is no taking of responsibility or attempt to make amends. This is the most common characteristic of businesses that get bad reviews for customer service. To the owner: I hope this review helps you improve your customer service. If it does, your success and profitability should improve.We live and learn.

I am very disappointed with my experience with UPS. Not realizing that the package would need to be signed for it was not delivered. After signing the slip left on my door it was not delivered again. When I called customer service I was told someone would call me in an hour from the dispatch center. The person who called me was unhelpful and rude. The conversation began with, the driver already left the area and will not be bringing the package back. When I explained that I had followed the procedure on the form, she suggested that I was lying. I said never mind, I am not going to drive 45 minutes to pick up a package that I could have delivered to my house and that I didnt want it anymore and ended the conversation. On my tracking information someone at UPS I am assuming this particular representative, falsely noted that I refused the package claiming I didnt order it UPS customer service, that note needs to be changed immediately. That employee needs to be counseled and the driver who failed to turn over the form on my door and see the signature needs to be reminded to do so.

I always use this UPS location to send my family home made cookies every Christmas. I never usually had a problem with the employees. This year a male employee was there when I came in to ship out my packages. He seemed to be very disrespectful and just the tone of his voice with everthing seemed to be an effort or a problem for him. Especially when he told me the total of the shipment. He told me the total and displayed unprofessionalism and spoke as if he was annoyed with me. His unprofessionalism and rude comments made me feel uncomfortable and I do not want to ship packages from this location until this problem is ratified or corrected. Thank you.

They would not release a package to me despite the fact that the package matched address on my drivers license and I had the delivery slip. This was apparently because my wife didnt take my last name when we married. They were dismissive, and when I finally got the tracking number from my wife to placate them, they were unapologetic.
