I had a very good experience dealing with Reser as I was looking for a high end mountain bike. They had the one I wanted and were super responsive in sending me info. I live 4 hours away so it was important for me to have good information before making the trip to buy the bike. I have more than 50 years of bike and mechanic experience and this was the first built up bike I’ve bought in more than 30 years. It was done well. I recommend them for anyone looking to find a hard to get bike from long distance.

Reser is the best shop in the Tri-State area. When you go in there is always someone who proactively asks if they can help. Their wrenches are the best. Whether you are a serious cyclist or just getting started this should be your first stop.

One of the best bike outfitters I have visited! I was traveling from Michigan and was interested in finding some trails to ride. I went to Reser Bike Shop and found a very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. They were awesome with information about local trails and equipment. I couldnt believe how well stocked the store was during this crazy pandemic. The number of high quality bikes like Salsa and others blew me away! We went to Reser to get our old mountain bikes repaired. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and never made us feel pressured to buy anything, but we did end up taking home a new bike after testing them out and realizing how much nicer a new bike is than an old, beat-up mountain bike. Everyone was very nice and helped us out a lot. Definitely would recommend going there if you either need to buy a new bike or need a bike repair.

There are exactly two good bike shops in the Cincy area. This is one of them. They do excellent work on maintenance and repairs. You need something ordered? They got you. And all the friendly advice youd need.And as an added bonus They have coffee and pastries. Whats not to love?

Very pleased to have Reser as my LBS. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that can outfit you for your next adventure on two wheels. Their energy is infectious and if you are into cycling in any of its forms, the staff will happily jaw with you about it to your heart’s content. Reser bikes is an awesome locally owned establishment. Today was the first time Ive been there on a Saturday morning and the atmosphere with the coffee shop was really cool. They also have excellent service, knowledge and inventory. Ill definitely be going back when my son outgrows this bike!

The search for the best bike shop around has come to a close! Reser Bicycle Outfitters is a 10 out of 10 experience! As a bicycle novice I was hesitant to believe my own research, and to point and click over the internet for my first major purchase. I have visited a couple bike shops in the area and none of them provided the knowledge, experience, stoke, and customer care that Ryan and the rest of the staff have here at Reser! They made everything very pleasant, easy, and are totally worth a stop in. Thank you for everything!

Finally decided to get back into biking after 5 years and wanted a road trail hybrid. After looking at multiple bike shops around town Reser had exactly what I was looking for. With super friendly (no pressure) sales and knowledge to answer all my questions, I pulled the trigger on a Specialized Sirrus X 4.0. Wonderful bike that handles great and climbs with ease. Ryan was the guy I worked with and was super fantastic going above and beyond. I think I’ve found myself a new bike shop in town!

Weve ridden recumbent trikes for the last 8 plus years due to an injury. When we decided we were ready for 2 wheel bikes we began our search. Due to the state of the world we werent sure we were going to be able to find what we wanted then we found Reser online. I called and spoke with Ryan to ensure they had what we wanted as it was a 3 1/2 hour drive one way. Ryan was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! We reserved our bikes and drove down Saturday. Matt helped us when we arrived he like Ryan was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful! Needless to say we left Saturday with a couple of bikes well enjoy for years! I cant say enough how great they were too work with! Highly recommend!

My wife and I have bought two road bikes, have had them serviced, and purchased cycling accessories there for 10 years.The level, quality, and availability of great sales and repair services, as well as a wide array of cycling items are unsurpassed. We also love the great tasting coffee at the coffee bar.

Out on a ride this morning I noticed my chain was giving me problems. Just happened to pass this place and I figured I’d stop in and ask a question. Their service tech immediately was able to identify my issue and performed my repair on the spot. You just don’t find service like this anymore. Place is a true Gem ! Haegen, one of the mechanics, took the time to look over my bike and noticed a serious brake issue that I hadn’t even take. The bike in for which saved me. He fixed it on the spot and didn’t do it begrudgingly. What an awesome dude

Update 9-11-2021: my right bicycle pedal broke when I hit part of a curb while riding. Took the bike in to Resers and they replaced the pedals for me. Afterwards, I went for a ride and the right bike pedal fell off from a crank issue. Will from Resers came out to where I rode and tried to see if he could repair the problem. He took the bike back to the shop where they repaired it. They found the crack arm was damage from the hit and it should not have been damaged. Jason Reser and Will worked on the bike and got me back on the road again to ride. What an amazing effort and job they did for me to repair the bike and get me back to riding on the road again. Such great service and excellent customer service! Thank you.I went to Resers today to get parts for a rebuild of an old bicycle and I knew it would be expensive. I talked to Alex about rebuilding the old mountain bike or buying a new bike, which I was wanting a new bike anyway, and he greatly helped me on picking the right mountain bike for myself. Rather than invest money in new parts and time in to an old bike, it was well worth investing the money in to a new mountain bike.Alex helped me throughout the entire process, explained everything to me about the bike as I have not been on a bicycle for 4 decades. I did not expect to buy a bike and there was no pressure or talk about buying a bike. I made the decision myself.Alex did an outstanding job handling the entire process. Great staff. One staff member didn’t know the answer to my question, he made sure to ask the correct person multiple questions until we figured out exactly what to order. Another employee did say I was wrong over a tire (which I was not) but the first employee was great so I brushed it off. When I picked up my product, every employee was very kind and busy, apologizing for the delay of getting to me. Keep it up and I’ll keep coming back!

He is very knowledgeable, detail-oriented and truly cares about your goals and requests. I worked with Brandon on the fit bike, purchased a bike based on my numbers and then followed up with him when I received my new bike. I did in fact achieve a perfect fit with his knowledge and skill level and am now so happy and comfortable when riding. Based on the fantastic experience I had, I will be going to Brandon for all of my fit-related needs in the future.

I’ve been a customer of Reser Bicycle Outfitters since they opened many years ago in Newport, KY. I have purchased 3 mountain bikes and a touring bike from them and I’m on the verge of buying an eBike from Them as well. I just had a bike fitting session with Brandon Grant who does all Reser’s fittings on state-of-the-art equipment. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. Today he also fit me for a custom pair of orthotics for my riding shoes. They greatly add to my comfort on the bike. I’ve known Jason Reser for a long time. He is passionate about both bicycles and his customers as well as the community he serves. Sebastian and the rest of his staff are excellent, honest and always helpful. And their coffee ain’t bad!! I highly recommend this fine bike shop.

I’m a fan of these guys. Not only a great shop, they also help out with the great system of trails around Cincinnati, which I appreciate.

The owner makes you feel as if youre an inconvenience. Very odd attitude and belittling jokes about other customers out of their earshot. Subpar communication even after spending thousands on a bicycle with them. Some of the employees seem great but I wish that attitude started from the top.

I’ve loved my experiences every time I have come to Reser’s! All the employees are super nice and want to help. Definitely recommend checking them out!

I am new to cycling and these guys took time out of their day to one, look over my bike and ensure it’s safety and stability for riding and two, they spent their time (which they are swamped right now) to help me get fitted properly for shoes and new pedals for my bike. I highly recommend them for beginners. Prices were very reasonable as well and they didn’t try to upsell me anything.

The guys at Reser are a cut above the usual mechanics you find at a chain bike shop. I always learn something when I shop Reser. I needed a helmet and they helped fit me with a Specialized that will call for help if I crash. I wasnt aware helmets were equipped to do that.

Broke a spoke on my MTB while visiting the area. The Reser crew had me back rolling with quick same day service, allowing my wife and I to continue enjoying the local trails. Couldn’t ask for any more!

My friend and I were embarking on a trip following the Ohio to Erie Trail from Cincy to Cle last week. Just as we were leaving Cincy, I had realized that my one of my clipless pedals appeared to be broken. No idea how it had happened, but needed it fixed or replaced ASAP. We went to a bike repair shop that told me the pedal could not be fixed, but to call Reser Bicycle Outfitters in Newport, Kentucky as they should have pedals stocked. We headed that way and were very thankful for all of their help! Not only did I leave with brand new spiffy clipless pedals, it turned out that they also had a cassette for my indoor trainer that I was trying to get my hands on and had ordered back in February from a different bike shop that is still on backorder. The personal at the bike shop were extremely helpful and even took the time to give us directions for biking from Newport to make our way up north. Even though, I am based in Columbus, Ohio I will be sure to call Resers for my biking needs as they are able to ship anywhere!
