From the time you walk in the door they are courteous and professional. The prices are decent and competitive. I went in today when they opened without an appointment because of a brakes emergency and they accommodated me. Theyre awesome. Thanks guys.

I cannot thank the staff of Pin Oak Automotive enough. I took my car in for some maintenance and to address a noise in the back of my car . After they did a inspection of my car they called me with a detailed estimate of repairs needed. They explained to me what they felt was needed for my safety and that some other things were just maintenance recommendations. After giving them the go ahead I received my car back by the time promised. I can not believe how quiet it is and how good it drives . Thank you John and Dave for the great service

Was really happy to get a coupon for an oil change and safety inspection for only 34.99. Brought my car in and everyone was so nice. They did the oil change and safety inspection within the hour and my husband and I were very pleased. They let us know that one of our tires had been patched and was slowly leaking and they gave us a quote for just the one to be replaced for $250 with labor! (I was able to purchase a brand new one from Queenston Tire on Ontario Street for $50 with installation) Their services are extremely overpriced however this was not the only issue we had with this company. As we drove home. we got a warning light on our car as soon as we left that said Oil pressure low, turn off engine We had never had this happen before and my husband had to pull over on the QEW. We checked the oil and they forgot to put oil back in the car!! How can a company forget this??!! I understand everyone makes mistakes but this could have costed us our whole engine and for this reason, we will not be returning. Should have known better than to get an oil change for only $35 bucks

Honest and professional owner. I have come here on two occasions to change a brake light bulb and to top up coolant. Both times, they did not charge me which was very nice of them. Have not gone in for anything major yet but I trust they will do the right thing as they care about retaining customers.

I recommend all Niagra residents to use this place. I had a fairy tale experience with this shop. In January of this year we visited Niagra Falls from Toronto when we had a flat tyre.I had my senior parents with me.Due to Corona restrictions only 2 people were allowed in shop.The owner himself went into Garage so my parents can sit in the office away from -20freezing temperature outside. When the work was completed,to my surprise the owner did not charge any cent from me saying that we were guests andit is complimentary gift from him..Who does It in these days.No doubt if I was living in Niagra,he would have been my Mechanic for life time.....Keep it up Sir

Haven’t been here in awhile as I moved out of town but wanted to write a review so people can see how amazing this shop is.These group of mechanics have serviced previous vehicles of mine and do a great job. John and his crew stand behind their work and don’t take short cuts or they aren’t “all about money”. If something doesn’t need fixing but you think it does, they will tell you and not just go ahead and do it for the sake of more income for the business. John is a very nice guy who knows his vehicles. He fixed my valve cover leak on my Cruze before when nobody else knew what the issue was. He will also bring you into the mechanic area to show you what he’s doing so you know he isn’t messing around. They also do their work in a timely manner and Kelly will drive you home and come get you when your vehicle is finished. As for the receptionist, Kelly (Johns wife) is very professional and polite and also knows a thing or two about cars. As far as their pricing goes, as like every mechanic shop, it is competitive but very reasonable.If you are looking for a new mechanic or are driving through the city to get somewhere and your car needs work, don’t look any further or you may be disappointed. Keep up the great work guys!

Needed my brake lines replaced and took the car to Pin Oak. My car was looked at the next afternoon and fixed the next day. I am so pleased with the promptness, friendliness, openness and professionalism of the team at this automotive shop and I saved $200 over and above the dealers estimate. I am going to make it my go to place for car maintenance/repairs and recommend this place highly.

Good mechanic shop for some but wasnt for me. Brought my vehicle here about a year ago but only now decided to leave this review after repeated disappointments with local shops. Seriously, is there any mechanic shop out there that takes as much pride in a customers vehicle as what the customer does? This place appears to be professional and the staff here are nice and polite however, when my vehicle was in for repairs it was improperly diagnosed which would have costed me over $1000 in an unnecessary repair that I personally fixed myself at no cost. When it comes to my vehicle I am very picky and very meticulous so I know that they did not do what they said they did with my vehicle. The interior was left filthy and covered in greasy boot and hand marks even after they knew I was coming to pick up my vehicle. They did offer to detail my vehicle for me after I complained but still, would it be too much to ask to wipe down your mess before the customers pick up their vehicles? Again, maybe a good mechanic shop for some people but was not a very good mechanic shop for me. Not everyones perfect but more care and more pride definitely needs to be taken so customers leave happy with the intent on returning with future business.

First time coming here today and it wont be my last, these guys are my new mechanic shop. Good prices and workmanship.

Ive been meaning to write this review for some time. I cant say enough good things about this business. I was travelling from out-of-town with family, when my auto needed immediate attention. I could have easily been taken advantage of, but instead they took the time to diagnose the problem and gave me two solution options. They did the work promptly and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Pin Oak, especially if youre travelling from out-of-town and in need of a good, honest mechanic in the Niagara area.

Have had our cars serviced and repaired here for a few years now. Better pricing than dealers and willing to suggest alternatives, if available, if cost is a factor. The whole team is friendly and courtesy.

My new used car needed work for a safety - more work than I expected. They were very fair, prompt and they genuinely wanted to help. Quite accommodating. The counter staff in particular are very helpful.I sense they dont cut corners, even if you wanted them to.My kids will be driving soon and Pin Oak will be keeping our cars safe.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Pin Oak Automotive due to the unfair way they quote their labor. Was charged in total $150 (2 separate occasions) to replace fog lights. Look elsewhere and find a reputable garage.

I was recommended to take my car here by a family member, and the multiple positive reviews solidified my choice to come here. I can honestly say that I have never had such a positive experience while getting my car looked at. I have been to 3 different mechanics around Niagara in the last 7 months because of ongoing front wheel problems, and I will never go to another mechanic after my experience at Pin Oak Automotive.While booking an appointment I was in contact with Kelly, who was very kind, accommodating, and replied to my questions very quickly.While at the shop I was greeted by multiple staff members, all whom were very personable, patient, and kind.The owner asked me to be present while he test drove my car to get a better idea about what the issue was. He was very informative and talked me through what he was looking for, while explaining what he knew was wrong.Back in the shop, the owners went above and beyond. The owner walked me to my car to show me all problem areas, and was the first person (now 4th to look at it) to identify why I was having reoccurring problems- instead of only fixing the issue I was having, he showed me why I was having so many issues. I think its also important to add that I was only ever spoken to with respect, which I have never experienced before while taking my car in to get fixed (especially as a female).While waiting for a quote I was offered drinks, and watched the staff interact with the customers coming in and out. Every single person that walked in to the shop while I was there was treated so wonderfully. The staff all exhibited great customer service, and were all personable and understanding. For every customer they gave a full review on what issues were present, and offered what should be fixed and what could wait. Their honesty and knowledge about cars was outstanding, and they have clearly built their business on trust and understanding.The quote I was given was very reasonable, and I was offered a ride home while the car was being fixed.Overall, I was very anxious at first to get my car looked at, but that quickly passed due to the owners and their staff members. I cannot recommend this shop enough, and I will surely be back for yearly maintenance and any issues I have in the future.

Unfortunately, I took my car for safety, but they quoted a big list to be fixed in order to pass the safety. The exhaust was one of them, it was in working condition when I brought the car in for inspection but the exhaust tips broke off after I picked up the car as I ask the order to be done at later time. I feel that they are scamming you for not doing the work order right away. I wont be coming here again. They are mad on your car if you dont spend the money with them. There should not be any part of your car breaks off during the service!!

I was travelling with my family on a cross Canada trip from Vancouver to Nova Scotia and the serpentine belt on my RV broke while I was in Canadian Tire parking lot. I phoned Canadian Tire and they said to call the north store and I explained my situation and they said to they could get us in and fix it. I had a tow truck tow me all the way across the city just for Canadian Tire to tell me they never spoke to me which was a lie because I had the number on caller ID and recognized the guys accent. The tow truck driver phoned Pin Oak Auto and said to bring it in. They were already really busy but John had a quick look at it and said he could fix it. He fixed the serpentine belt AND the alternator belt which was ready to break. When we came to pick up the RV the shop was closing and I had concerns about the bearings in the front wheel and John stayed and extra hour and half late after work to check BOTH front wheels and repack the bearings with grease at no extra charge. I had 3 kids and 1 was just 4 months old. John and his wife gave me piece of mind that the rest of my trip would be safe. THANK YOU! highly recommend this shop to anybody.

I can’t say enough good things about this automotive centre! I showed up unannounced enroute to Pittsburgh with car problems along my drive. The staff was nothing but super friendly and accommodating. I was scared I wouldn’t make it to my destination but they took me in even when they were fully booked, fixed me car on the spot and sent me charge free! I was in disbelief at the kindness and generosity they have to offer, not to mention they know exactly what they’re doing! I would give 6 stars if I could!! Thank you guys! :)

Get a second quote, went for an alignment awhile back and told me i had to replaces power steering lines and gear box? it just did not make any sense to me what that had to do with alignment because my steering wheel was crooked and they quoted me over 800 dollars . I took it to another garage and only needed a pitman arm to do the alignment and saved 700 dollars

If you have not yet seen angels among us these people are. My family and I were on a trip from Massachusetts(USA) to Niagara Falls in Canada on a busy summer day in July 2019. On the way I heard some rattling noise under my Toyota Venza. This noise got worse when we got to our destination. I was lucky to have my phone working so I googled and bam! I got this place. As soon as we pulled in the yard a lady who I later learned to be the owner came out to meet us. She was so nice to us. She told us the problem might be the heat shield that was loose. Her husband came out too and they were able to accommodate us right away. They were awesome, they let our car in. Kelly (the wife) gave my kids some doughnuts whilst we waited for the car. To top it all, they didnt charge us a penny; something that we werent expecting. Toyota 1993 Itasca motorhome back on road worthy. They went great lenghts to fix our vehicle last minute on a Saturday took us in and even on a Sunday just to get us on the road on time.
