I didnt ask the price of an oil change done today because a year ago this shop did a high mileage semi-synthetic change in another vehicle for $55, about the going rate in this area.This time, the full synthetic 5 quart base cost was about $91. My last 6 quart change at a Toyota dealer was $70, again about the going rate in this area. But to add insult to injury, Firestone charged me an added $21.84 for an additional 1.4 quarts! The 0.4 was not necessary since the cold stick reading is about 3/8 above the full mark. They just went by the 6.4 quart spec for the vehicle without actually reading the stick.So, it was $113 for what should have been about a $70 oil change and they overfilled it. Another poster mentioned she was offered a coupon. I was not.I post very few reviews anywhere. I have to be thrilled or sorely disappointed to bother. 5 stars a very high bar for me and 1 star a very low one. You know by now where I stand in this case.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. We’ve dumped over 2 grand worth of money into our vehicle and it’s still not fixed. We’ve been in and out over 5 times. They claim they fixed the issue but every time we go back they keep trying to charge us for the same issue plus something new every single time. And if you have the great pleasure of dealing with Dave that works at this location, your best bet is to turn around and walk right out of the door because he is nothing but rude and unprofessional and he will lie straight to your face to take your money. Also if you try to get ahold of corprate with your complaints good luck trying to get ahold of anyone. TERRIBLE SERVICE & TERRIBLE COMPANY!

The worst tire professionals I have had the unfortunate to experience. If you like Firestone products, do yourself a favor and find another shop.

I had a nail in my tire and Firestone was the only auto shop that I could find that was open on Sunday evening. I asked if they could repair the tire or what my options were. I am not sure the name of the guy who looked at the tire, but he said he would check it out. I tried to point out the nail but he wasnt paying any attention. He was taking out a gauge so that he could measure the tread in the tire. He went on to measure all 4 tires and informed me that because my tread wasnt 7-8/32 that they couldnt consider a repair. I have an AWD vehicle, so his only option for me was that I had to replace all 4 tires for over $800.I was confused by the advice because I knew my tires werent that bad and the prices of the tires were steep, but I took the estimate and went on my way. I knew I could find cheaper tires, but I wanted to be certain that my tires were in bad shape. I had only driven on the tires for less than 10k miles thanks to the pandemic hitting just a year into me owning the car(which had brand new tires at the time). I wasnt under warranty with the dealer so I couldnt get them to replace my tires for free. I was finally able to take my car to another shop and just asked them if the tire with the nail could be repaired and if not, Id like to purchase all new tires which would run me $400. They informed me that the nail was too deep to make a repair, but that my tires were in good shape and I only needed to replace one. That my tread of my other 3 tires were at the right point that they needed to be that the new tire wouldnt cause any issues or be a big difference.After hearing that, I was surprised and now knew that I couldnt with any certainty trust Firestone in Niagara Falls anymore. I had gone here numerous times without much issue, but I was on the fence about them because they had offered me repairs on parts of my car that were less than a year old in the past. Now I know I will never return to this location for anything again.

I called out of nowhere with a nail in my tire and a schedule to keep. Chuck expedited the repair (and an oil change) and got me on my way. Top notch.

All I can say is wow! They really pressure you to purchase add-ons... actually pushy is a better word! I just witnessed an elderly gentleman get 4 new tires put on, that were way more expensive because what he initially wanted was not in stock. They did not discuss this with him or give him an option, they just put them on his car! The man was obviously hard of hearing and is going to be in for a big suprise when he goes to pay... he was taken advantage of. I will never do business with/purchase a Firestone product again.

Great shop. I got tires, suspension work, and repairs I didnt know i needed. They were extremely helpful over the phone and explained everything well. The work was done quickly and I will be returning with my other vehicle for new tires and an oil change soon.

Went in for a oil change wait 29 minutes after my appointment started to get in then a hour wait time wish they would let you know they are running behind so you are not wait so long!

So customer service has Been decent with them very friendly just not to happy with the way some things have gone. Took my car in about a month ago to get looked at because another garage did my alternator and specifically asked they check the work on the alternator. They quoted me a $650 on an evap leak and swore that was the problem with it dying out. Ok great i need it fixed! Paid $1080 to get it fixed.... A week later go in with my husband because car died on us 3 times and we had replaced the battery, my husband demanded they check the alternator wires as i had already requested.... They found the problem other shop had broken the positive wire from battery to alternator and now fire stone quoted me $600 but the quoted my husband $366 to replace this wire 🤦🏻 if they had just did what i asked i wouldnt have had to shell out extra money to tow my vehicle6 times since my vehicle was seen on April 13th. And I wouldnt be out a $1000 for something that was NOT the problem! They need to check what female customers ask and not just treat women like idiots who they can con into paying for something that was not the problem!

Got me right in for 4 tires and wheel alignment

Set an appointment for an oil chamge and tire rotation at 10 am went to pick my car up at 4pm and it still wasnt done. They hadnt even started. They told me it was done and let me pay before they said it would be another half hour. They made me late for work. What was the point of an appointment?Also they have a sign that says they give $10 off for google reviews. Be skeptical abput positive reviews. Probably people trying to get $10 off.

I would NOT recommend going here at all. I’ve been here almost 3 hours for a flat tire. Also, the customer service is poor. I witnessed them talk out of line to a customer over the phone and trash talk them after the call. They called only to ask how long would the work take, which I believe is a valid question that they should have an answer for.

Good guys, brought my car in after visiting another shop that said my tire was needing to be replaced. They took a look at it and found it didnt need such repairs saving me money !

Super friendly service! I got there an hour before closing for an inspection that I scheduled the day prior. It was clear that they were a little short-staffed and a little stressed out. My inspection took an hour, which is a little frustrating but understandable. I didnt catch the name of the tech but he was very friendly and helpful. Satisfied, given the current state of things.

I am going to take a long distance trip, so I took my car to Firestone tire center on Military Rd to get my tires looked out due to a vibration when driving, they found a few issues with them so I decided to buy a full set at a great price and a lifetime alignment. I had a great experience here from the time I walked in the door to the time I left the facility. I now have a new maintenance shop to do my car repairs. Thank you Firestone for the great service.

Had a dead battery in our SUV, went to this Firestone in Niagara Falls. Found a great price on a new battery, they matched it up to our2010 Honda Pilot and installed the battery immediately! Friendly service too. I recommend Firestone!

It was ok experience

Made my appointment for 12 to get a NY inspection completed. Dropped off my vehicle right at 12. The vehicle was pulled in at 1210. The waiting area is small, but clean. Tiny TV that was not on. Water is available with cups and chairs are relatively comfortable. They found the air filter pretty well clogged. New one was OEM 28 bucks. All done after an hr.

I told them that we cant wear masks due to medical conditions. We needed to get our car fixed and waited for a long time to get it looked at. It was raining and they wanted our family to wait outside while they fixed our car. They would not honor medical exemptions or ADA!

Awesome service. Brought in a shredded tire they were able to special order the all season tires on same day. Dave H. Was great to deal with. Deal with again anytime!!

I can’t say enough about these guys. I’m driving into Buffalo from MA and my rear tire is low when I get up in my hotel this morning. So I filled the air in Schenectady and called ahead to Niagara Falls to Firestone on Military Rd. I originally was going to do one tire for about 180-190.00 because of my Jeep having a higher rated speed tire. He put me in 2 tires for an incredible price. A lot less than 2 times the original quote and got me into their garage immediately. Why would you go anywhere else for tires. They are all about tires.

During a road trip to Niagara Falls we woke up to find we had a flat tire on the day we were supposed to leave. Called Firestone and Dave was very helpful getting us in and helping us find an affordable replacement despite being extremely busy. Overall great customer service and a friendly staff!

Ive been coming to Firestone for many years at this location. The staff is very friendly and they do a very good job fixing my cars. I also carry a Firestone credit card.

I was on my way out of town for a cross country trip and they got me in last minute and road ready in no time. Service was fast, efficient, and much more affordable than I expected. Ive been bringing my vehicles here any time I am in town and they have always provided top notch service.

While driving across the country, one of my tires suddenly failed and needed to be replaced. Firestone accommodated my last minute request to service my vehicle (I called at 7 am and they booked me in for 9 am the same day). The work was done very quickly. I am very grateful for their assistance and would highly recommend them.

Chris the store manager is awesome! Got the pleasure to work as an employee in his store. He is the first manager I saw willing to get dirty and help the techs if they needed a hand. Every tech there is knowledgeable in automotive repairs and are also cautious about keeping a nice and tightly work environment, also respectful with every car they work on. Highly recommend any automotive repairs take it to the family over on military road.P.S. GOTTA GET UP THERE!

I have been to quite a few other Firestone locations, and since coming to this location a couple of years ago, I don’t bring my vehicles anywhere else when it’s in my control. I drive from Buffalo just to get my oil changed. I know the pricing can tend to be on the higher side with companies like these, but you get what you pay for. The management team is always honest and to the point. And as far as people feeling like there tends to be a laundry list of work recommended when “you only went in for an oil change “, the reality is these guys are just doing their jobs. And the operative word there is RECOMMENDED. They aren’t telling you you have to do it. And you have the free will to go get a 2nd, 3rd, and so on, opinion elsewhere. Anyone who has worked for a corporation knows they have more expectations for up selling than your local “mom and pop” shop. Again they are just doing their job. The team here has always kept it 100 with me.So, I’m definitely willing to spend the extra $$ when I know, no matter where I’m traveling in the U.S., I can pull into a Firestone or affiliate, and have piece of mind, that the work done at one shop is warranted and honored at another. Having taken many trips on the road for vacations, Firestone has been there to help me on more than one occasion. Not to mention the Lifetime Alignment deal! The special is almost always available, and I have already saved more than twice what I spent on the cost of the Lifetime Alignment purchase.At the end of the day, I very much appreciate the management and staff at this store! They are amazing!

Made an appointment for 2 P205 55r16 tires,was ASSURED that they were in stock,same ones I bought before at this location,went to appointment,and was told they didnt have them on site.They said they would have them tomorrow. I had even rescheduled this appointment,and they still didnt have them.I called specifically to make sure they had this size tire.Anyway,I didnt say anything at the time as I needed to find another shop that carried these,and I did,right down the street.So...Firestone loses $190.00 and my future business for the inconvenience.Even giving one star is hard,but I had to just to post.Ridiculous!

We replaced our windshield wipers and went for our inspection. Our TWO brand NEW wiper blades (that were perfectly fine before pulling into the bay) failed inspection and had clean cuts through them.The mechanic didnt realize that our blades were less than a half hour old and thought this small act of vandalism would be an easy replacement and charge. So we were forced to pay to have them replaced by them in order to pass inspection.

Speedy service and I was approved for a Firestone card on the spot so I didnt need to pay today

Came in to have a tire out on a rim and put on my car when I brought the car in they asked if I wanted them to look for other issues and I said no to just fix my tire they then took and looked over my car for over 2 hours when all that I needed was them to mount tire on top of that they read off a list of parts that need to be changed when I got back in the car only 1 of the 6 things they said were actually wrong with the car I even had a secondary mechanic look over the car to verify that Firestone tried to get me for parts I didnt need as well as tried pressuring me into getting a firestone credit card multiple times I will never go here again.

This where all of my friends and family buy our tires. Great customer service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great prices. Highly recommend. Ask for Chris or Dave.

Took my Jeep to Military Rd. Loc. in Niagara Falls app 1 week ago. They charged me over $800.00 for a throttle body unit . Just days later, the problem is still not fixed ! They said, I would be served w yet another bill! ! After, not doing the job and work right the first time ? Is this honest honorable business ? More like Firestone Incomplete Auto Careless . Still awaiting resolution . Beware

It was bad experience of installing tires of my Tesla model X From Firestone, the manager told me 2 hours and I gave him 3+ . They gave us the time 4pm and when i reached there after shopping from the near by stores the car wasn ready as it looks like they just started but i ignored it and said how much time it will take. They said 15-20 mints as they wanted to 100% make sure that they have the right tools for the Tesla model X, which i am aware what other kind of tools you need. I requested for a discount due to late service on which they give me 10% on my bill.However when the job was completed at 5:30pm, the manager said an advice that you need to rotate the tires after every 5000 km on which I said that there is no rotation you can do as the tire sizes are different front and back. And on checking it was found out that the claim that they wanted to make sure they know what they are doing was completely baseless . I would never recommend this tire shop to anyone.

Im Canadian and own 2 vehicles which I have purchased the Firestone Lifetime Alignment Warranty for. When I started going to this location 4 years ago there was a different manager and great workers. They always took my car in on time and got it out quick. Mind you that it wasnt the cleanest of rides either considering that we live in the salt belt.Fast forward a couple of years later and I get my second car, the was a change in management and people and it clearly shows. Theyre late to get my car in, they once said my car was too low for the alignment rack although it cleared it before. Last week I went for what will be my last alignment with this location. When I left the location, I realized something didnt feel right with the car. When I crossed over into Canada and hit the highway I came face to a dangerous situation where the rear end kept drifting/jolting side to side on bumps and lane changes . When I got home and did my own check on the suspension, I found that the mechanic who took 1.5 hours to get my alignment wrong forgot to properly tighten my camber alignment bolt which caused my suspension to keep sliding left and right on bumps and turns.I am willing to drive an extra 30mins for the Tonawanda location which takes beyond great care of me over this place and until the management and mechanics change at Firestone NY they can expect me to not bother seeing me around.I gave it two stars only because it was once a very good shop.

Went for just an oil change and decided to get a full inspection too, even though my car had been running fine. After, they gave me a huge list of problems, but said they were all typical problems of my car at the age it is. However, the next day my car would not start at all, and I called them asking if they may have accidentally bumped my battery wires or something, and they very rude and short with assuring me that it couldn’t have possibly been them.

The staff is always super helpful . I trust these guys with all my auto service needs and the are the only auto company that I have come across that values me and my business. The firestone card is a huge benefit and makes like so much easier.

We had issues with front end alignment on my hudbands work truck! After leaving Mavis, Firestone took me WITHOUT an apt and we got right in! The Manager was just amazing! They worked on the vehicle for over 4.5 hours, and didnt charge for the alignment because they couldnt get it done, or even 1/4 done. He gave us the recommendations of how to handle it, and saved our information including how much we will be charged at the next visit for the alignment.... The price match cost! I am very pleased with the services and staff, especially the Management! They now have customers for life! 😁

Wasted my time, had an appointment for 4:00pm, was there 15 minutes early. Then a man came in saying he knew someone that worked there and had an appointment at 4:30pm, at 4:45pm they took the guy and I was still waiting. Needless to say I was there an hour and wasnt seen so I left. Why make appointments when you take people ahead of you when their appointment was after yours. Very aggravated!

Fast and courteous oil change less money than valvoline.

Do not go here. They told me my wifes car needed front and rear brakes to pass inspection. No problem there. The problem was they quoted me 3-4 hours of labor to replace 4 sets of brake pads. Ive done brakes plenty of times and knew this was nonsense immediately and also knew Id never go back there. I did it in my driveway in a little over an hour with a jack and hand tools. They have a lift and air tools. On top of the abuse of labor quotes they will give you a grocery list of whats wrong with your car at every visit. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
