Needed a signal light harness for my Jeep fast due to my vehicle inspection closely approaching. Alan, who I believe to be the store manager was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was looking for. Didnt even need to spend time looking it up on the computer. He went right to the aisle and found it right away. I dont know if I was more impressed by how knowledgeable and fast he was able to locate it or the fact that they actually had it in stock considering how old my rig is. Either way, the transaction was quick and easy and the harness was reasonably priced. I will be returning again to this location in the near future. The rest of the staff seemed to be very helpful with the other customers based on my observation during the time I spent here shopping.

I just wanted to say thank you Max from autozone for helping me out when I my car stall on me while driving home with my kids. My car started to shake and slow down so I pull on the side and I search for a mechanic shop, I notice there was autozone store near in North arlington and I call and the person who answer was max and he said no problem that he can come out to the car to help me, I was was park a block away from the store, he then came to my vehicle check my car and tested my battery and see whats was wrong, my battery was bad, he went to the store n I went with him got a new battery and he went back in the rain to install it for me while my kids and I waited in the store. Excellent service Max I give him a 5 star and beyond, Thanks aAutozone and Max for helping me when I was in need of help.

Alan was really great he helped me find the correct brake light for my car. Then he came out and changed it for me. I really appreciate this level of customer service because he didn’t have to do that.Thank you!

Store Manager Mark was very professional and helpful in locating the correct car battery and replacing it with a new one. I appreciate the time and effort he put in. I was there Friday July 30th. I had a battery issue both Jeff and the manager on duty Alan where very helpful. Alan went outside to test my battery and then tested my alternator as well. He then explained to me that my alternator was not producing the correct voltage need to charge my battery and that i should replace that asap. We went back inside and then he sold me a battery and priced out the alternator for me. As I was speaking to Alan the other employee Jeff went outside and installed my new battery. Alan is very knowledgable and respectful. And Jeff did install my battery with ease. Thanks again. Looking forward to visiting this location again.

Wonderful AutoZone with a nice large parking! Almost all of the employees are willing to come out to help you with your smaller car needs. For example, if you need help changing a headlight bulb or your windshield wipers blades, they will always assist you with these types of issues. Plus this services is always FREE to all AutoZone customers. I especially love this AutoZone because of the large parking lot and the pleasant & friendly workers at this location!

I went to Kearny Auto Spa to get my Air Cabin filter and engine filter changed and removed. Unfortunately they did not have any more in stock to my disappoint although the attendant was very helpful. Then an idea struck me and I said what if I go to AutoZone. I drove to Auto Zone and Max an exemplary employee who worked there was more than willing to assist me. In fact he was very knowledgeable. He rung up my purchase and I explained to him that I had no idea what I was doing and he said that he would assist me in a moment after he attended to another customers needs. I waited outside and to my surprise he was true to his word. Max walked me through the process step by explaining as he went through the filter replacement procedures inside the car Air Cabin Filter and the outside Engine Filter. I was very impressed and grateful that Max assisted me. He actually changed it for me. I was afraid that I would have to go on Youtube to figure out how to change and replace these filters. After speaking with Max and finding out he was part-time I was shocked. This man needs to be Full time. He goes above and beyond and is excellent. I highly recommend his work ethic and dedication. Thank you for all of your assistance and leaving a very positive experience for me.

Great for 90% of my automotive needs. Does not always have parts for my BMW, but that is my only complaint (which is not really a complaint). Excellent car cleaning products and friendly staff

The basic washer fluid that they sell here costs more than at the gas station.EDIT: The reply they left is a typical corporate Lets make this sound good response. Why would I email them to tell them exactly what I already posted in the review? How incompetent are they? How many more ways do I have to spell out the fact that their cheap washer fluid costs more than the fluid at gas stations (which is always overpriced for the convenience)? Either lower your price or dont. But dont tell me to email you to repeat myself.Because of this terrible reply, I lowered my rating from 3 stars to 1 star.

Low score based solely on customer service. Manager- heavy set male, and young cashier named Jeff seemed completely clueless and were not helpful at all. Jeff may be new- so thats ok. But I was disturbed by the managers behavior and lack of customer service. I watched as they both struggled for over 5 minutes to open the new batterys plastic, then struggle to unscrew my car fob and place the new batteries in. The manager then came extremely close to me to the point where I had to jump back. He never said excuse me, and he was coughing/hacking the whole time. I felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected.

I went into this Autozone in North Arlington on Saturday May 22 2021 and left with a lot of knowledge and confidence to take on my DIY project on my motorcycle. As I walked in I was greeted by on of the managers Alan. I explained to him what i was planning to do. He then designed and drew up a wiring diagram as well as provide me with all the products and equipment I needed to get the job done. Thanks to him I was able to go home and wire everything up and now have LED lights in the fenders and frame of my bike where i was picturing everything. He also checked up on me during his break to make sure that everything was done correctly. What can I say that is truly exceptional customer service. Im glad I spoke to Alan and will continue to be a loyal customer to this location.

I would like to comment on my excellent experience on May 18, 2021. I was greeted and assisted by the manager on duty Alan Alvarez. i explained the issue my vehicle was experiencing. He then offered to test my battery to access the problem. Once outside he also tested my alternator. Once all the testing was done we went back inside the establishment and he explained everything that was going on and gave me the solution. It was my battery that failed. Then he showed me the best recommeded battery for my vechile. He also offered to install my new battery as a courtesy. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I am greatful that i was assisted by him. He was very respectful and knowledgeable. i look forward to seeing him again for any future issues that I may run in it.

Went to get battery change on my 2017 GMC Yukon. Due to the complicated process with the computer box attached to battery I was advised to take to dealer to keep warranty intact in case of a problem. Went to leave and it wouldnt start. The floor manager came out and jumped my truck and advised the best battery options. He was very friendly and helpful. He would not accept a generous tip I offered him saying he was just happy to help. I am very impressed. Thank you Auto Zone!!!!

I came in for an alternator, not only they advise me to bring in the core so I get some money back but they also advised me on getting other related parts to get the job done right. Ive been to other autozones but this one is the best.

Me and my husband have been having car issues with our 2016 Hyundai santa fe. It would always turn off and we didnt know what it was because when we would try to turn it on it would give a click noise and the radio would turn on but thats it. We went to autozone and Mark who is the store manager was very helpful and changed a new battery for us, but he also told us the terminal was loose and that could be the problem. Sure enough he was right! The battery wasnt charging properly because of the loose terminal and he was kind enough to fix it for us! Mark was super helpful and he knows what hes doing. If anyone needs a place to go this is the spot!!!!

After having spent several hundred dollars at this location in the last year, I was told today by the parts manager that a pair of brake pads I bought 6 months ago would be covered under the AutoZone Lifetime Guarantee.He told me to buy another pair, install them, and bring back the (Not so) old ones in the same box to be refunded my purchase price on the second set. I did just that and was back within 2 hours (because I actually know how to work on cars). This time the Store Manager was there to process my return. Instead of the credit the parts manager told me I was due 2 hours earlier (since their pads have a lifetime warranty) I received a lecture that I drive too much and my pads were not covered in the warranty.Six months and the pads were worn to the backing plates?! No refund on the second purchase?! My business will be taken elsewhere including away from the entire chain. Dont GET INTO THE ZONE AT AUTOZONE unless you enjoy wasting your money and dealing with hacks.17 years as an auto body technician including ASE Master certification and an uneducated franchisee tells me that brake pads should only last 6 months. Follow up with AutoZone corporate on its way ...

I like this AutoZone, the workers always help however they can and have a good attitude. Prices can be higher on some items, but they also have great deals from time to time.
