My fitbit broke and I went in to get a new one. Even though I went closer to closing time the staff didnt rush me in anyway and helped me in the fitbit section all the way to the check out. Thank you for the help and answering my questions! Love my fitbit I upgraded to.

I like going to this location. Geek squad is really helpful. I wish I would have purchased my laptop here instead of a place where the associates know nothing about computers. I rarely go to best buy for anything anymore but maybe I will start going back. These guys are awesome.

I went in for a work headset and a speaker, possibly an Echo. I was promptly helped and given great information on products. There was an awesome deal on the Echo plus, so ended up getting that based on the information and price. Very helpful staff!

I had an amazing experience earlier this week with a gentleman in the Car audio department. I had a stereo and had no idea how to go about wiring one. An employee named Randy really helped me allot. There is no way I had any energy or brain left to have done it without his help. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. It feels so nice to be able to listen to music especially after 2 weeks lol. My stereo sounds fantastic and better than it ever did before.

The particular location I went to(Geneva) had a great selection of computers compared to other locations. Sales associate was pretty good. Seemed knowledgeable and interested.

I dont know if anyone has dealt with Myrian in the mobile phone department but she is the absolute best. Shes one of the most helpful Best Buy employees I have ever encountered. Her multitasking capabilities are something you cannot believe unless you see her working in person. Patient, kind, joyful, intelligent....just not enough words to describe the way she has treated my wife and myself. She has been the standout in that department but every one of the other people that work in that area of the store seem to have much wisdom and a servants heart for helping people. They make your whole shopping experience a joyful one. This store is actually farther away than my local store but to me it is worth the drive to shop there when I encounter employees as outstanding as the ones at Best Buy North Aurora. Thank you Best Buy and keep up the good work.

Ive been to this store many times over the last few years for TVs, cell phones, computers, etc. and the employees have always been very friendly and helpful. Any returns or exchanges that Ive done have been fast, simple and hassle-free. I cant say the same for other Best Buys that Ive been to in the past but this one is great and Ill keep returning.

Great service here from the General Manager and his team. Their computer system was on the Fritz and online orders that had been notified couldn’t be matched to customers. Despite the place being busier than King’s Cross on a Monday morning, the staff elevated the problem to the GM (Yangwe) and he sorted it out efficiently and with a level head. Highly recommended for solid leadership under fire!

Needed a new refrigerator stat! I walked into Best Buy and found the model I had wanted for lower than all their competitors and had first rate customer service as well. My new fridge will be delivered in less than a week. Thank you Best Buy !

I have never went into best buy and had trouble getting anyone to help me until today. I have an app. on my phone that I use and sometimes it requires help finding things and as soon as people find out that it doesnt include a sale they run away in the opposite direction. Not only was I mad but it is very rude. I will never go back to best buy. You can only get help if you are lining someones pockets. But really...this is Illinois. Kind of like Springfield......

Very informational associates. Everyone was happy to assist, and were really knowledgeable about the products, or quick to find someone more specialized. Steve did a great job helping us and making sure we had exactly what we were looking for

Would not recommend going there without calling first. The store is like a ghost town. Very minimal products to choose from - they are closing the store but are not offering any close out specials. Was greeted when I came in and when I left. The rest of my time while I wandered around trying to find a monitor cable - I was never asked if I needed help. The other employees I saw were standing in the back talking to each other. The store should just be closed at this point or hand out flat 10-25% discount coupons when people walk in - to give them incentive to try and find something to purchase. Call before you make the trip is my best advice.

Dont buy cell phones here out right they wont honor any warranty on them. The manufacturer told me to bring it back to the retailer since I bought it there and not direct. Was told by Myrian they cant and wont do anything for me. Loyal customer who buys all my technology from Best buy. Looking to go else where now over the service I was given there. DONT BUY Cell phones out right at Best buy. Go direct or to another retailer that will support you and give you the customer service. Where was the customer service Best buy. Staff is helpful but the store isnt as well stocked as some of the other Best Buy stores. Usually not very crowded so easier to move through the store. The guy at the front that greets you is always happy & friendly.

Ask for Alex P in computers if you need anything in that area he is full of knowledge. But everyone there has been very nice and even price matched with no problems so far best customer service out of the best buy locations I have been to.

Staff knowledge can be a hit-or-miss, so do your homework first. Lots of choices on great electronics. I like the fact that I can get what I want when I want it without having to wait for shipping. They will price match just about any large website deal, so why bother buying online.

I was dropping off a computer for its annual software cleaning. Apparently you have to make an appointment.They need another set up for simple drop off and pickups. Very annoying. Told me to come back in 4 hours.As luck has it, the next appointment was late and they squeezed me in.Professional sevice, but never the less, appointments for quick purchase not cool.

Switched cell carrier. Salesperson was slow and distracted. He waited until the paper work was finished, then told me they only had 1 phone in store. I had to drive 12 miles in rush hour to get 2 more phones at a different Best Buy. 3 hours later I had new service. Ridiculous!

Really nice people but they have horribly diminished their stock of useful accessories for cell phones. I wanted a charger capable of quck charging or turbo charging, and they had nothing. Their dual socket cig lighter adapter was grossly overpriced and didnt work reliably. I found what I needed of better quality and less money at Target. Best Buy is going downhill. Sad.

I havent been to a Best Buy in like 10 years prior to this one. Floor staff was nice but since I was like the only one in the store I was jumped on by everyone. Regardless, it was still a Best Buy and the nostalgia in me loved it.I have no desire for the uber fancy TVs and speaker systems but being able to browse the computers and see totally rando accessories is great. Browsing online at New Egg, etc can only bring so much satisfaction. With the exception of he refurbished deals you can find online the prices are reasonable in terms of you being able to get a product immediately. Also, if you time the deals right you can definitely get some things way cheaper.

Staff was extremely helpful when their system said they had 2 of the product and there were none on the floor. They helped us order and ship for free to our house. The manager even gave us a discount because we went to 3 best buys before stopping there. I will always stop at this location first!

Its places like this that can really knock a persons screw loose. Customer assistance is a joke here all the employees are always chatting with each other or other young adults that they know outside of work, while anyone who actually requires help is left to scavenge around the store for what they need, or came for. As another reviewer has said, the children working here do in fact take time off their, apparently, extremely busy schedule to talk crap about any customer who doesnt meet their highly required fashion or face standards. Wouldve expected more from a well known electronics store.

Was able to go back they price matched the product I bought refunded me the $100 and set up the installation easily very painless experience.

This is a great store. Somewhat smaller than normal Best Buys but none the less they have most everything you need technologically.

Went in looking for a router with adv parental features. One of the associates stated with MIMO tech would work good. Seriously dont say anything if you dont understand the customers needs. This is why i try to not have to shop at Best Buy because its all about the sale and sale of stupid service plans. You guys blow it again. See you maybe in another 2 years if your even still around.

Not the best selection for a Best Buy. The employees are very nice, but it gets a little annoying every time you turn a corner theres another one asking if you need anything. Join the members benefits club. It gives you great discounts.

I visited on Mothers Day and they had a table at the entrance for Mothers Day suggestions (varied & well thought out). This store has a HUGE Samsung area w/Samsung staff. Clearance items are at the front and we almost fell victim to them (wording plus great price points) Their mobile phone department is pretty knowledgeable. They make sure you get the right unlocked phone for your carrier. Having cellphone cases galore, youll find the RIGHT ONE. It has to be a huge seller for this area.

Employees hang together with their friends and you have to go get them. Very few people knowledgeable about the products.

Horrid selection on the most basic of electronics. Out dated tech with today prices. Overly high prices. Barely had any SD cards. I just wish Frys was closer. If you need something specific or specialty dont go here, go to Frys.

HORRIBLE Customer service from their Geek Squad team. I has an appointment for 4:15 pm for my remote starter installation.I had to leave work early for that, I arrived around 425, and the guy refuse to intall it saying I came late..I tried explaining to him that i came from work and I was lae due to traffic and rain. but he was not willing to stay 10 mins past his 6pm time..I spoke with store manager, no use..I couldnt believe it.Will never go back to this best buy again.NEVER

Im sorry I ever went there... I was holiday shopping for my fiance. I saw a best buy ad on there website for a good HD camcorder at a really good price. So I asked one of the store associates for assistance, and said I would like to purchase this camcorder. This is where it starts going downhill. I stood around for half an hour while the associate started looking for one. What happened was, he looked and looked and then only after I suggested to check inventory did he go and do that. He came back and told me they had one left available for sale, but he couldnt locate it. So, after he wrangled a team of other associates together they went on a wild goose chase to find it... never did. Im a pretty level headed guy, so I wasnt really upset. We proceeded to look at other options. I ended up ordering in store from online with expedited shipping. I get the package the next day and find out they ordered the wrong camcorder for me at the same price. I went back to the store and waited at the customer service desk... and waited... and waited... and waited. All the while Im staring at a group of associates and their manager stand around chatting it up and joking about customers. It may have looked like the manager/ sales team lead was directing them but I was close enough to listen in. Finally I get someone to help me, I explain the whole situation 3 times, and only then do they comprehend what the problem was... Then they went off to go look for the non-existent camcorder all over again as I waited at the customer service desk for another good amount of time (still staring at the same group of employees goofing off). In the end, all was in vain and I ended up forcing them to give me a better camcorder for an even exchange of what I already paid for including the shipping and handling. Overall though, I wouldnt be so upset if they had just been more genuine people. Instead of just staring at my receipt and their computer screens scratching their heads and actually look at me and listen to what I was say from the beginning none of this would have happened. Im never going back there or to any other Best Buy to experience this negligence, incompetence, and outright insincerity again. Not the first time Ive had to deal with this from them or only this location (this is by far the worst one though), but it is definitely the last.
