We had a battery,still under warranty,that failed on the road. Took battery to autozone to get tested. We were pressed for time as my wife was on break from work. We got a young Spanish man that gave us unparalleled service. He came outside and tested the battery. Found it was defective and got us a new one. Reinstalled the new one and cleaned area beneath the battery. Gave advice on care of batteries like ours and tightened and got rid of acid. I have to show my appreciation for him as he was also taking care of patrons at the register and on the phone all the while.

Paul L was helping me today with my car problems. He was knowledgeable and took his time with me. He explained what I needed to do and now I have a better perspective. I went to advanced auto parts, but not anymore Paul has won me over. He should get a raise for outstanding customer service.
The people there were very helpful and very nice. Just 1 problem I had was, there was only 2 people working and the line was up the aisle. Other than that they had everything I needed

I just had the most amazing service from here. My company car was having trouble with its battery. The clerks here were very friendly from the moment I walked in and after explaining my problem and buying the battery they offered to install it on my car for free without me even having to ask. Very happy with the service I received today, I called the store and spoke to Jay (He was very courteous and professional) and I was able to pick up all the parts that I needed. He saved the day for me because the competion had no stock. I will definitely return for future purchases.

Very convenient store. Most of the staff are knowledgeable. They help with everything from simple windshield wiper replacement for ladies to code reading and help for the rest of us. The prices for the parts are pretty fair. Their lifetime break warranty replacement policy is amazing. All in all a very good place to buy parts with most in stockHighly recommend
Just was at autozone and a lovely and very helpful young man, Abraham, helped me to find a bulb for my headlight, even offered to install it free of charge! When he went to do it the bulb came back on! Great service, very cordial and helpful!

I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER AT THE NORTH BABYLON LOCATION. ACTUALLY I CALLED FIRST JUST TO SEE IF THEY HAD WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I NEEDED A BATTERY INSTALLED SO WHEN I CALLED THE MANAGER JAY ANSWERED AND SAID HE ONLY HAD ONE. HOWEVER HE WAS WILLING TO HOLD IT FOR ME. HE HAD SUCH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. SO WHEN I GOT THERE TO HAVE MY BATTERY INSTALLED HE ASSIGNED ANOTHER EMPLOYEE TO ME BY THE NAME OF ANTWON WHO WAS JUST AS GOOD AS HE WAS. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE.. JUST WANT TO SAY JOB WELL DONE GUYS!! YOUR GOOD DEEDS DID NOT GO UNNOTICED..

As usual, the aisles are stocked with many items for auto needs, like wipers, bulbs, oils, lubricants and even plate and steering wheel covers. However, the checkout is always long. I spent in excess of 10 minutes waiting to pay for my items. Store can be easily seen from vehicle moving in normal traffic

No carts had to make 2 trips out to my car with my purchase.
A little over priced on some items, but they help install simple items and for me since I dont own the tools needed to remove and replace it makes it all worth the extra pennies. I greatly appreciate this service offered by AutoZone. Just a headed up, the Bay Shore store is much more willing to help out than the Deer Park location.

Waited in line for 10 minutes while exactly zero employees seemed interested in helping the customers. One guy seemed to be picking orders, and two were having a conversation in the back room. I would have walked out if I wasn’t there because of an emergency.

They typically carry the auto additives or oil I use on my MiniCooper and the prices are reasonable. This time it was 5W30 synoil and liqui-mol injector cleaner.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IN ALL MY LIFE... The African American gentleman, sporting the low haircut and glasses was either genuinely/maliciously simple, stupid, or slow! He offered NO ASSISTANCE and behaved as if I was disrupting him at his home... during my visit I witnessed he and another employee openly ridicule and berated consumers.I will never return to this store and I will make it my duty to warn locat consumers to do well to avoid this unprofessional establishment.

I didnt know it was a requirement for people working their to be rude and uncooperative, my dad and I simply wanted to purchase new headlights for his Accord but we were met with hostility from the get go. Definitely will not be going there again.
Had to get a battery replaced, I walked in and was helped within 5 minutes.. Brent or Brett tested my battery, gave me all of the options for my car and installed it for me.. he was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly too!

I only come here when i cant make it to advance auto partsHonestly i only come to this location as a last result.The staff is always rude and unhelpful, and thats when they are willing to speak to me. I often have to wait for them to finish lengthy personal conversations before they are willing to acknowledge my presence (im 6ft 290lbs).There has been many times where the person helping me has just flat out said i have no idea on how to help me, and they pull out their phone and look up how to solve the issue. Stay away if you can.

This review is lengthy but very detailed. Thank you to all who took the time to read it.I arrived at AutoZone in Deer Park around 7:30 pm needing assistance with my car battery. When I walked in there was a line of about 4 people ahead of me and only 2 employees on the registers. When it was my turn I asked for my battery to be tested and to find the right battery for my car using their computer system. When I asked if there was someone able to install it, I was told that they were short staffed and to try again in the morning when there are more employees.I returned the next morning to find one employee already assisting a customer in the parking lot and another working the register. Different employees from last night but still the same amount of staff as the night before. I gave the employee at the register my cars year, make and model to search his system for the correct battery to purchase. According to him, the battery that I selected was out of stock so I went with another one. I asked who was going to install it and he told me the employee that was already outside would help me. I took the battery to my car and told the employee what his coworker said. He became upset and started talking about how his coworker never wants to do extra work. I sat in my car for the next 10 minutes waiting for my battery to be installed. Finally the man who was working the register came outside with a tool kit and another man (not in AutoZone uniform) followed behind him. The un-uniformed man ended up doing the entire removal/installation of the batteries while the employee stood there holding the tool kit. A third employee came outside for a smoke break and happen to notice that the battery was the incorrect size for my car. By this time, the installation was complete. I thanked the un-uniformed man, it was not his fault that the battery was the wrong size.The third employee and I went inside to speak to the other employee about getting the correct battery. After checking the storage racks again, they found that the original battery I wanted was in stock! I was given a full refund and a discount on the correct battery. And this time an employee with actual knowledge of how to install a battery assisted me. By this time, I was already late for work. The employee who caught the error removed and installed the batteries quickly. I thanked him and left.Something that should have taken 20 minutes at the most, took more than an hour. I appreciate the two gentleman that caught the error and were able to correct it but will no longer be doing business at this AutoZone. They really need more staff, period. Preferably staff that know what theyre doing.

Absolutely atrocious service. The old, white, grey haired manager is the most disrespectful, rude, offensive, arrogant, individual to ever work in the service industry. Ive gone to this AutoZone before and Ive seen him get into loud, verbal altercations with customers. Hes extremely immature for a man who appears to be in his seventies. How horrible is this establishment that its managers cannot display the most basic level of maturity? Even the other employees make comments about how bad he is. Its awful that a woman, or any non-mechanic for that matter, must be spoken to in such a condescending manner from a manager. In the end, I know now to never return here again. I prefer Pep Boys or any other parts store.
