BEWARE! If i can give them a zero i really would(Check the other lowest reviews too,a lot of those).Mind you, they don’t care about there customers. The workers here are very unprofessional, be aware they will you rip off and will try to take how much ever money they can from you. The “boss” was very disrespectful and will give you an attitude and won’t let you talk when you try to explain something your not understanding. Don’t even get your tires fixed here either they will rip you off with that too and will try to fail your inspection with whatever little thing and take your money and force you to get it done or else you will drive without a sticker, oh and they won’t even tell you ahead of time either that they will take it off, also when asking her what it i get pulled over on my way home? She said well that’s not my problem. “Boss” said she doesn’t need to, oh and to top it off she started raising her voice and cursed at an adult because the CUSTOMER was trying to explain something. Highly waste and time of money. Management horrible as well as business.

This is the worst business I have had the misfortune of having to deal with. Went in for a simple inspection and they ruined my tire locks on my car and did not offer compensation. They claimed they were like that already when they in-fact completely stripped the wheel nuts on every single one of my wheels. They then failed my inspection and did NOT leave me with a temporary inspection claiming they dont do that and making me leave with no proof of inspection on my vehicle. The reasons they stated for the failed inspection did not even make sense because I had no issues prior, and consistently had my inspection passed. The owner was present and just simply stated there is nothing he can do and that I have to find a way to get the tire locks off myself. Awful business awful customer service and I highly recommend people DO NOT GO HERE EVER unless you want to deal with a headache from their incompetence

Had a tire plugged here TWICE in a three week period and was told “sometimes the tire just warps when it’s older”. It’s a one year old car…. Just got an alert while down on the beach that our tire pressure was at 12 psi. Don’t waste your time here getting a tire plugged.

Took my truck for a leaking brake line and spoke with Lou the owner, he stated that the repair was gonna be 800 dollars. I approved repairs then was given a bill for 3,100 that I did not approve. It seemed he needed to replace all brake line, calipers, pads, socks, struts pretty much the whole underneath of the car. Lou stated vehicle was worth the repair and come to find out the vehicle is only worth 800 dollars. He is a scammer, a liar and be aware that he will disable your vehicle, and make it unsafe to operate, and you either pay the repairs or get your vehicle towed.

Went to this location after catching a flat and calling the place to verify I can get my tire replaced. After going there, the owner refused to change my tire because I had run flats on my car. After explaining I had no where else to go, he took my car out of his shop on a flat and refused to service my car. How are you a tire shop and can’t replace run flats? I normally don’t write reviews but this left me furious. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Take your business elsewhere. The woman/ owners wife was rude and obnoxious as if they were the only place in the world to get your car fixed. My family has brought them a lot of business in the past but never again.Customer service is not one of their strong points.

Quick service way to expensive for a flat tire

I wasnt able to get my flat fix because of the way the tire was punctured, but they were very helpful with getting me a good alternative.

This is the worst place ever. Robbed me blind. Normily I care battery cost 150 buck. They charged me 379.20 cents. They charged my cared then told me the price of the battery. DONT EVER GO THERE.

Took alittle longer than Id like but the service was great and it was done correctly

Brought my car into check for a vacuum leak. Told them to use a smoke test to see where the leak could be escaping. They had it for a whole day and told me they didn’t find anything. Went to a different place and they found a leak from the rear main seal, the PCV diaphragm and part of the timing chain cover. If they truly did conduct a smoke test the at least the diaphragm and timing chain cover would be leaking smoke. So I know they didn’t even do that. Apparently paid for a smoke test that was never conducted.

Beware of this place. Owner will try and sell you and repair things that are not needed. Plenty of other reputable mechanics in area. But I did get satisfaction with the results of notifying corporate. Should of looked at the better business bureau first where there rating is a F. Will be posting this info on all social media sites as well as the north Babylon patch to make people more aware.

Louie is the man! he really helped me out with my car when no one else wanted to deal with the headache. he is really the best guy to go to for mechanical issues; kind and professional. he gets the job done right and in a timely manner!

The guy who always in the front told me they dont accept you bring your own oil if you bring your own they wouldnt not change it unless you buy it from them. theres other place where they told you they would change it for 20 dollar but this guy is like he want you to buy their oil you cant bring your own. Ashamed of this place, I dont recommend this place.

Great Experience Every time I go! From a basic oil change to replacing my rear axial, I have never had any problems with their service.They treat everyone like family and work their hardest to get the job done on time and perfect.Thanks to Louie and the guys at sky Firestone my car is always running well! Sold me a used tire that had a hole in the sidewall... tire lasted one day before becoming flat. Went back to the shop and was told that in those ten miles I drove, the hole was my fault and not theirs. The adhesive is still present on the tire where they tried to patch the sidewall before selling it. Everyone knows to NOT patch a sidewall, nor sell a tire with a hole in the sidewall. Will never recommend this place to anyone, what they did was dangerous and not only that, but they didnt even have the decency to put a new tire on for the troubles caused.

Went here for a noise that I had on my front tire on the highway. To make a long story short, added a repair that doubled the cost. All repairs done and still didnt fix the problem. Then suggested another fix. Went to another place (DVS Mt.Sinai)they knew what it was and asked me if I wanted to go forward. $1700 and this shop didnt fix the one thing I came in for... There are so nicer shops in the area. Why go to one with shady people?

Beware!!!! Do not go to this store unless you want to cause trouble to your vehicle. They gave me a terrible tire with a hole in it. I drove less than 10 miles and my brand new tire I got had already became flat. When I tried to talk to the members at the store to come up with a resolve to my problem, they were by far the rudest people I have ever met. They treated me so poorly and acted like this was my fault. I will not be going back to Firestone again and I recommend others to go else where unless you dont mind buying tires with holes in them.... then Firestone is the place for you.

Because my car is lowered (and I have ramps in my trunk to make higher to easily lift) they did not want to take and extra 5 minutes to check my car when I had a major tire problem. Nothing like risking a customers safety over laziness!

I went to sky firestone for a simple oil change and nys inspection. The guy there, Louie, wonderful guy looked over my car and gave me a breakdown of what is needed and what i could wait on. Not only did he tell me but he showed me as well so I knew that he was not bullshitting me. Gave me great prices on top of that. Really nice place to go to and friendly staff makes you feel welcome.

Honest guys and helped me out of a tough spot

AWFUL!!!!! i dropped off my truck to get a pair of tires put on and he destroyed my 22 inch wheels. his rim machine chewed up the whole edge and took the paint off the wheel as well as gauged the metal. his resolution was to send it out for refinishing it for 80 bucks in which i dont agree with because there is nothing better then the manufacturer finish then what someone will do for a cheap fix. i wanted a new wheel in which i presented him with the cost of 400 for it and he wouldnt pay it. he instead settled for half the cost of 200 therefore this trip cost me hundreds of dollars and a headache now of having to find the wheel that matched my set. the owner is incredibly rude and his staff as well. they have no idea what they are doing in there regardless of his defense he has been there for 25 years. if i broke down on the side of the road in front of his shop i would push my truck to the next shop before i ever give this place a penny of my money. if i didnt settle for the half the cost in which he knows he beat me on the deal to save money and not have any care for my property he told me as far as he is concerned he didnt do anything when at first he owned up to it. he was quick to raise his first offer to settle at the halfway point because he knew he was guilty and at fault for the damage to my wheel. NEVER USE THIS PLACE! Firestone should be embarrassed to let this guy hang there sign out front. i have used many other firestones and never had a problem but this is the last time i use any of them. STAY AWAY!!! NO CARE FOR YOUR CAR!!!

Call to mount a tire, they say yeah come over anytime, free until 4pm. I get there at 2. Then they tell me to leave car until Monday.

Wife took Kia Sorento in for an oil change. She left, and we drove from Long Island to Cape May for five hours. Hotel staff noticed oil leak when we pulled out. Took vehicle to Kia, service there stated that the oil filter was not even tightened at all. Kia performed full oil change. Wife brought vehicle back to Firestone, and they issued a full credit, which was the only good thing here. Gentlemen at Firestone told my wife that Kia should have just tightened the oil filter and topped off with oil, and that Kia took advantage of her. Firestone should have simply apologized, and not blamed Kia for anything. Kia did not want to take a chance, and they suggested a full oil change, and we agreed. Firestone told my wife that he was being the nice guy, which is nonsense. Firestone is completely incompetent. Thankfully we made it all the way to Cape May, without damage to our brand new vehicle.

They are hacks. They didnt do the job I paid them to and I dont trust them to fix it either. My tires arent balanced and they lost my centering caps for the rims and my inflation caps.

Told me I needed control arms for my car to pass inspection, brought it to another local business and they told me they were 100% fine and new place didnt charge me for unnecessary parts and labor, and passed mu car for nothing more than the $37 for nys inspection, bunch of scamming cheats
