I have been shopping here for a very long time. The workers in the pharmacy are knowledgeable of the customers and the Pharamcist is helpful with any questions you may have about your medication and they greet you by name. They are courteous and kind. The store is kept clean and the other cashiers are very friendly. Pleasant atmosphere and the prices are affordable.
The Pharmacy is TERRIBLE. I don’t know if it’s a short staffed issue or they simply don’t care. The wait to pick up is always timely and no one EVER answers the phone. I have been trying to talk to someone for the past 20 mins and I just kept getting sent to the beginning of the message. It’s terrible customer service for something so important. Something needs to be done.
Thank you Jake in North Babylon Rite aidI recently had to pick up a prescription in the north Babylon Rite Aid location . My insurance was transitioning to a new carrier and my info was not coming up and I couldn’t get my prescription .Jake, the pharmacist tech went above and beyond to help me. He even got on the phone with my insurance rep and fluently went through the new process. The entire time he was patient which made me feel less anxious .I can’t express my gratefulness to Jake .I suffer from anxieties in general and a situation like this would have provoked an episode, but it didn’t .It took an hour to complete this visit because of these changes, but I got my prescription and did not sweat it once.Thank you so much Jake . Pharmacy is always understaffed and backed up. They never answer the phone or leave you on hold for over 20mins and then hang up. One of the worst pharmacies ever!
Today’s date is May 5, 2021.I just relocated to Long Island from out of state. My cat is thirteen years old and experiencing health issues. Because we aren’t yet settled in with a local vet, his vet in our home state called in two prescriptions for him to this pharmacy. This was done on April 24. The pharmacy tech that took this call never bothered to fill his prescriptions. On May 3 my vet’s office again called Rite-Aid on 1200 Deer Park Ave. with the medication orders. The tech she spoke with was very rude. She had the audacity to ask why she was calling NY with an out of state prescription. She never filled his meds either. I called again this morning and she told me she would get his medicine ready. It is 3:30 pm. The prescriptions are still not ready. My cat’s health is important to me. These two have put his health at risk. I will never use this pharmacy again. Both techs are in incompetent and one is nothing short of disrespectful. I have the names of both techs and all calls are documented with my vet’s office. This is going to corporate. 0 stars
Very very short handed kept trying to get through for 45 minutes. when someone finally answered he put me on hold I was holding for 30 mins and he never returned to the phone.I had to hang up and I went somewhere else to buy what I needed from the phramacy..
Lady behind the counter at the pharmacy said she wasnt acceping walkins for the vaccine. But the store said they were. They also set up my 2nd appointment for the wrong day at the wrong time. literally says on their website *ACCEPTING WALK-INS*
My wife scheduled an appointment online to get the j&j c19 vaccine here. She got an email and text confirmation. We got here on time and went to the pharmacy register. The worker at the register took my wifes license, went somewhere, came back and said that they ran out of J&J vaccine. She said some one was suppsed to have had called my wife but no one did. She said that my wifes only options are to get pfizer or keep checking back with them until they get j&j. I asked the woman if she can look up if other rite aids have J&J vaccines available as my wifes school and work are mandating it and she must be vaccinated by the end of the month. The worker gave us attitude saying I just told you that her 2 options are..... My wife and I walked away before she finished the sentence. Rude and unprofessional. If you (or your coworkers) messed up, at least be polite. Things happen and customers would undertand and not write a 1 star review. The poor ratings of this store and its worker say it all. By the way, when we got in the car, I went on the rite aid website and it still said that this store still had j&j vaccines available .
I called to see if I can get some information on the vaccine. They answer the phone then hung up. Very unprofessional pharmacy.
DO NOT ever buy gift card from this store! They will scam you! BEWARE! It was charged on credit card but no money on gift card. Keith the manager sucks ! He would not help customer. I will take them to court!
These are desperate times. Everyone in the pharmacy is helpful and patient. The other day I was questioning Which of my medications were up for renewal. I was nervous that I would be running out. Later that day I received a phone call that my seven prescriptions would be delivered the next day. I was flabbergasted. I couldn’t ask for anything more.Thank you Rite-Aid.
Repeated difficulties month after month filling an Aimovig prescription with a manufacturer’s coupon. Instead of finding out how to process the coupon, they kept sending me away and telling me the coupon couldn’t be applied. One month customer service for the coupon called for me and told them how to process it. The very next month, they again told me the coupon couldn’t be applied. I spent 30 minutes in the store asking Yunah the pharmacist to please just call the number on the coupon to find out how to process it. I was treated so rudely by Yunah and Thea the cashier, I never picked up the prescription. Instead I had it transferred to a local, independent pharmacy. I couldn’t be happier. They fill the prescription each month without a problem. They get paid approximately $500 each month and I receive my medication. Not only do I not use the pharmacy, I won’t purchase anything in the store anymore either.

OUTRAGED. Very poor customer service. Went to check out at pharmacy with my cold medicine. I was told by the clerk to go to front register because she was busy getting medicine ready for sick people. Why did she think I was buying cold medicine? Clueless. Left my $40 in cold medicine and went somewhere else to spend my money. Also the store was a mess.
This rite aid deserves more than 5 stars because of their employees they are soo nice. Ill give their pharmacy a 6 because their technicians actually care about you and I mean that the women are sooo sweet. Andrew is one of the Male technicians hes the man always trynna save you money hes a very big help also very knowledgeable about the product and meds that they sell. If you ever have any questions just ask they will be happy to help. Im so glad I changed my pharmacy to this one. All reviews that are negative about this rite is bogus probably just unhappy ppl who have nothing better to do then to write bad reviews about a rite aid that deserves more stars then google gives to you.
Had one simple question and the woman had such an attitude about it..just be professional if you’re having a bad day.
1200 deer park is the worst pharmacy .. never has the medicine available always has to order. So if you need something in an emergency situation you are out of luck . Will certainly be taking my business elsewhere
