Great facility. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Took their time with me (never felt as if I was being rushed out). The eye doctor (Dr. Rubin) is outstanding. Explained everything he was doing. Highly recommend.

They are the worst.They are so slow with everything they do.when I told the girl I would be paying out of pocketLiterally had me do all these tests. I didn’t know I was getting a glucoma test. Do they really test that for a contacts refill? But hey at least I know now I don’t have glucoma. Mind you I’m 19 years old. Anyway my office time here was 3 hrs to get contacts refill. At the end when they printed out the “bill” with all these crazy tests they did, just walked out. Very unprofessional. They were to let you know what’s being tested & why & if you agree to ig or not. The woman really had me sitting there getting it all done and when I asked she say it’s needed don’t worry . I got my contacts elsewhere that took 30 office time.

I’m shocked to see bad reviews !I arrived early & was seen before my appointment time with very small wait time (which I wasn’t expecting bc I arrived early). The women working were fantastic, sweet, friendly, and Dr. Rubin is just fabulous. It’s rare to come across a doctor like this who just GETS and understands where they work and what they are doing. He has over 25 years of experience and I’m sure puts all of his effort into every patient he sees. This isn’t a private practice, so his care, consideration, explanations, and time put into my eye care was more than appreciated. Throughly enjoyed absolutely every employee who helped me.

Worst place to get an eye exam done. They’re very unprofessional. They will tell you one thing over the phone and another when you get to the office. They stay trying to get someone to pay out of pocket when it’s covered in your insurance. They book appointments and try to rush you out the office or reschedule you if it close to closing time. I will never go back to this particular office. Poor poor service. And don’t get me wrong it’s not even the ophthalmologist it’s the staff in the front. I always go back because I love the ophthalmologist. He works well with my kids and myself. But I won’t go back after my interaction today.

Customer for years. No longer able to book with a specific doctor and some exams are digital. So much for allowing your child to continue to see the same ophthalmologist that they have seen since they were 6 and where they are most comfortable. Taking my business elsewhere. Being a healthcare Regional Manager myself, this was a terrible move on their part to restrict patients from seeing specific providers.

Absolutely terrible. The worst Davisvision Ive ever dealt with. You dont even see a doctor, its all video screens. After wait for 45 minutes to see someone to pay for my contacts I got to listen to the receptionist apologize over and over for mistakes... Ill be finding a new location to go to after todays fiasco. 2 hours for a video exam and to pick and pay contacts... terrible

The workers there were very patient with me. They explained everything to me that I was not sure of and took about an hour with me each time I was there. Very happy with the people there.

Loved coming here. I was a few minutes late and they still gladly took me in. The Optometrist was very knowledgeable and friendly. One of the staff members who is bilingual helped me pick out my frame and Im so glad she did because she picked the perfect frame for me. i also observed that they have a lot of bilingual staff whom they helps those in needs of better understanding and knowledge of what they are about to purchase I couldnt be happier with the service and my glasses. Thank you for all you do ! i know sometimes people take you for granted both just know some of of do appreciated you and love to see more bilingual staff helping others.

My company uses Davis Visionworks and I normally go to the one closest to me. However, I was in the N Babylon area and I called this location. They happened to have an Appointment for me within an hour. I was seen by Dr. Rubin who was without a doubt one of the most reassuring eye docs I’ve ever met. He explained everything to me and was so kind. The front end staff was equally as helpful (I can only recall one name, maybe Tawana?) They helped me pick out the most complimentary frames I’ve ever owned. My family and I will be coming to the Deer Park location from now on!

My son and I had come to this location for few years now, Dr. Ed Rubin is great makes sure we understand and were confortable during the exams. Everyone at Davis Vision is always so professional and wonderful from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. It is a pleasure to come in and be serviced setting appointments are very convenient and their follow ups are very good. I totally would recommend Davis to all my friends and family.

I no longer live close to this store. I called up today to get assistance with buying a pair of glasses and getting them mailed to my home. I was so lucky to get Twana to help me. She was terrific from start to finish. She was patient and knew her stuff. She was able to help me find a pair of glasses, order them and get them shipped to me home. I cant thank Twana enough.

I had to exchange my glasses two times because I just didnt care for them. I had no problem, no questions asked, and the associates were polite . The only problem is they have a limited selection, as far as I am concerned, compared to other optical stores.

Short wait for eye exam. Nice selection of glasses. Great prices. Very accommodating staff, they helped me pick which frame was best. Will be back next year!

My first experience at Visionworks was excellent. All of the staff are extremely friendly and are willing to take plenty of time out to assist you. Twana specifically greeted me with a warm smile and assisted me with picking out frames and sunglasses. There is a great selection of glasses and the price is very affordable. I received my glasses in less than a week of me ordering them and I am absolutely in love with them. Thank you for the great service. I would not go anywhere else other than Visionworks .

Very busy location but spent some of the time looking for glasses and before I knew it was being examined by Dr. Rubin, hes the best and very funny too. I purchased my glasses here and was very pleased. They were damaged at work and a very nice lady on the phone said to bring them in. I was introduced to Erika and she did a wonderful job repairing and readjusting the glasses as if they were brand new. Wonderful place to buy eyewear!

Have not been there in years, but when I did, they all were great!!! Really need to go back now. Hopefully they take my insurance and/or still have great deals on exams, contact lenses and glasses.

I have been coming to Davis Vision for about 10 years and I have never had any problems. I have come in many times for adjustments and they always do it free of charge very quickly. Would recommend 100%

I came here once several years ago to purchase a pair of glasses with a prescription. That experience went well, the staff were nice and very helpful in helping me find my first pair of glasses.Just recently, I went in to have an eye exam and get new glasses. Dr. Rubin was very good and made the exam as quick and comfortable as possible. I was also able to find a nice pair of glasses with the help of the optician, who was also very nice.With that being said, Ive yet to have a poor expereince with this location and look forward to coming back (now that I have insurance) every year for my eye exam. The folks here are great and I highly recommend them!

After my exam Twana was such a pleasure to work with.Out of the 15 pairs I picked we were able to get it down to 3 pairs I totally love. Never on time for set appointments. They dont even care to address or apologize the fact that they are never on time regardless if you are sitting in front of them in excess of a half hour past your appointment. IM SITTING THERE NOW AND HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER 40 MINUTES! They always have a different story about benefits. If you have contacts and they dont provide the ones you need you are not getting them as you should on plan. Then when you tell them you would like the prescription for the contacts and prescription for eyeglasses with A PAIR INCLUDED, they say the cant do that and that YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE CONTACT EXAM . Then when you TELL THEM THAT YOU DONT WANT THE FREE GLASSES AND JUST THE PRESCRIPTION FOR THE CONTACTS AND EYEGLASSES THEY TELL YOU THAT THE CANT BECAUSE YOUR CONTACT LENSES ARENT UNDER THE PLAN. AND THEN YOU TELL THEM THAT ALL YOU WANT IS THE EXAM AND NOTHING ELSE, NO CONTACTS, NO GLASSES, JUST THE EXAM AND PRESCRIPTIONS YOUR ENTITLED TO THEY REFUSE!!!! As a CSEA UNION MEMBER I WISH CSEA WOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE POOR SERVICE AND UNWILLINGNESS ON THERE PART TO PROVIDE THE BENEFITS WHICH VISIONWORKS IS GETTING PAID FOR!! CSEA SHOULD START LOOKING FOR MORE WILLING AND RELIABLE PARTNERS LIKE COSTCO!!!So today, December 7th, one day after writing this review I received an email from Visionworks saying I should give them my telephone number where I could be reached. I did. DO YOU THINK THEY CALLED ME??? NOPE...THEY DIDNT.Today on December 9, I received a call from the regional manager of Visionworks. The conversation was a total waste of time. She offered no explanation for the lack of attention at their store and no compensation whatsoever for my time lost and aggravation. I told her this was an ongoing situation there and that Ive been going to the location for several years (7-8) both by myself, or with my wife and and that entire lunch hours have been wasted and examinations reschesuled.

This place is wonderful! Kudos,to Dr Rubin and Amanda. I took a really long time to pick out frames and they were fine with that. I have been going here for years. Even,got an appointment on the same day!!

The reviews had me reluctant to go, but they excepted my insurance so I went. I changed my appointment 3 times and they accommodated me every time. The 2 young girl at the deck werent warm and fuzzy, but they also were not rude and nasty either. The ladys helping me pick out my glass and dealt with my insurance were very nice too. I definitely didnt feel rushed. I saw one doctor for my eye exam and a different one when I had my follow up to pick up my glasses. Both doctors were very nice and patient.

My husband and I went to Visionworks with our prescriptions we were greeted by Yvonne lovely tone and a smile which made us feel comfortable since this was our first time here. We were assisted by optican Twana who was very helpful, knowledgeable and personable my husband and I love our glasses and the PRICE and GREAT SERVICE! Thank you we will be returning for future needs.

Just left Davis visionsworks and i must say the customer that i received was incredible. Ms Twana and the team at the store help me make decisions not with one pair of glasses but two pair, they really took time with me was very truthful on how i looked with glasses i was picking out. The replacement service is AAA+ rated excellence. The staff is wonderful. Fast and convient service. The one and only also the absolute best eye glass service. The estimate is very accurate. They help you in the best way that is possible. They always have solutions. Repair is soo fast. I appreciate their service. 10 minute wait for repair. In and out. Receptionists were extremely rude on a Saturday morning. One receptionist wouldn’t even make eye contact with me, rolling her eyes like I was bothering her because I came in there. Wasn’t able to get done what needed to be done. Wasn’t even accommodating to help. Didn’t even get to see the Dr. but due to horrible customer service I never will. I will never be back that’s for sure.

This place is terrible you can never get anyone to give you an appointment let alone their undivided attention. Every time I call they put you on hold at least 5 times before they even ask why you are calling! Not only that I even went as far as to drive there and see if I could be a walk in and they turned me and my mom away and said they were booked but no one was even in the building! They literally must lose business all the time! No manners of customer service I would give this place a zero!!!

This location is fast, reliable, and friendly. I would come here before I go to any other location....or Eye doctor for that matter!!!
