I had never been to a audiology appt. Ever.I called up and made my appointment and went.Very pleasant and professional and they do it for free the first visit.Im not having any problems at this time.I dont have to go back for 2 years.It was pretty neat.

After being tested by two other audiologists, you found my left inner ear was full of water and whatever. I went to the doctor you recommended and he inserted a tube in that ear. He said it just squirted out when he made the incision.I still have the tube in there but my hearing has improved as you probably remember I couldn’t hear very well on the left side, and the pain is gone.Thanks & stay safe.Lew.

Dr. Overcasher patiently took me through the entire hearing screening/examination process and had some very useful suggestions to help me with my general ear health. After the screening was completed she let me try out the set of hear aids that she felt suited my needs the best, but didnt pressure me into making the purchase, instead she left this important decision up to me.UPDATE: 5/20/20What I didn’t know when I made my purchase I know now:My options were never explained before my purchase. I was offered 2, BTE styles and was never offered an ITE style. I am an avid cyclist and sweat a lot during my rides. I wear a helmet and also wear a hood in the winter to keep my head warm. During the summer I wear a something similar to a hairnet to keep moisture off my face. BTE hearing aids do not work well under these conditions. Had I know this before my purchase I would have chosen the ITE hearing aid that would be much less susceptible to sweat and temperature changes. But like I said, I wasn’t offered another choice. Now, after only 3 years my right hearing aid is not working properly and is of no use. $5,000 for 3 years of use! It could have been so positive of an experience if I would have been asked just a few questions about my lifestyle before the purchase.
