Went to Sgambatos for the first time today (the place came highly recommended by a friend), and Im not going anywhere else in the future! The staff is very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. They detected the issue within minutes, took their time to explain it to me in simple words, gave me an estimate of repair time, and even offered chairs for me and my daughter to sit while waiting. They didnt try to sell anything, and they charged very fairly for all the repairs. Also, they covered the front seats, doors, mats and steering wheel with cellophane, so I got the car in exactly the same condition I left it (small things sometimes make a huge difference). Highly-highly recommend!

I have been going here for years and they are always very professional quick and reasonable. I highly recommend them. The original owners sold a few years ago but still work there part time and the new crew is just great!

Spent $1300 for an exhaust system, my car was still smoking and I was told “come back for an oil change and we will add something to your engine with the oil for the smoke” from the female who works there, another words after $1300 they couldn’t just add some in for me without me paying more money for an oil change. You’d think during a pandemic and that much money it’s the least somebody can do. Also, the service is not that speedy a few relatives of mine have had to wait for weeks for their car for minor repairs. Some of the men are very friendly and kind. But it’s the little things that build trust especially seeing as though I’ve went there for YEARS as well as my relatives.

Im from Boston and we had work to do In RI.My truck broke down in Scituate RI for 12 hrs.I got towed to Sgambatos shop Kenny & Carlos and crew took very good care of me..I was ready to abandon my truck but they brought it back to life..I wish they had a shop near me..they are absolutely the best on service and price..thank you very much..Drew Cooper

Went in for one thing they said it was another and come to find it I never needed my ball joint changed at all. I thought because of the good reviews that I was going to a honest place. Never again! Mechanic was super rude when I picked up my car also.

Great service, these guys and lady know what there doing. They take the time to look at your car and there not in it for the money meaning they dont dont tell you theres something wrong with your car when there isnt. They are always busy and a ton of cars at there shop at all times. What does that tell ya,lol. Im just happy there right down the road from me.

I moved into this area in 1998 and was urgently in need of a car repair. Less than a mile from my home I found Bill Sgambato and his team. A family institution 200 yards from Centerdale is a gem amongst local business and for my family, a wonderful service. Was referred by a friend when I was having problems with my radiator...dropped my car off with Bill overnight...after flushing the system and not finding any leaks, he told me to take the car and drive it...if any problems, to bring it back ...He wouldnt take $ for his time...WILL ABSOLUTELY return if needed in the future!
