Won’t be back to captains after a recent incident.Called and ordered a chicken caesar wrap with fried chicken for delivery. To prevent any mistakes, I specifically repeated fried chicken numerous times on the phone. Upon receiving my food, I found that the chicken inside the wrap was grilled. A simple mistake. I politely called the restaurant to inform them of their mistake and to possibly send over the correct wrap. The same man who originally took the order was now arguing with me that the chicken was in fact fried. I was shocked as I steered down at the grilled chicken in the wrap. He couldn’t comprehend the fact that he was wrong. He told me he would know it was fried since he made it but the sad reality was that he did not know.A situation like this shouldn’t call for any sort of escalation but the man was standing firm on his beliefs. After being hung up on numerous times, I was finally able to reach a more reasonable individual. It would make sense after such frustration to request a full refund, however, I only requested the wrap to be credited.I’d like to add that I’ve never had an issue with the food here. However, I can’t rationally return to a business that treats their customers with such bitter disrespect.

Tried calling multiple times to order some pizza when it was listed as open but no one picked up. Stayed on the line for 3 minutes with the ringing noise and eventually got disconnected.

Make a solid cheese steak.

They have food, cant say its very good food or very bad food. It will fill you up but as far as being worth more than 2 stars, 2 stars is a generous rating. Try it and see for yourself, or not, theres better delivery type pizza food in the area, you might have to look hard to find any.. good delivery food that is.

The food is pizza and subs. Ive had worse. Ive had better. The issue is the customer service. Ive been here several times, to the point the gentleman that appears to be the boss at night knows my name. On several nights Ive stopped in before work and the older gentleman with glasses was rude to me. Im giving you business, and youre rude to me when ordering food? I figure its just him. I go in on Saturday night and the regular night crew is working. One person in front of me. His order is taken. The boss answers the phone. Hangs up. Addresses the person in front of me again. Answers the phone again. Then a person walks in, right past me, and the boss hangs up the phone and starts talking to him. Like old friends. Again. HE SAW ME! Im standing 6 feet away from the boss. He knows me. Weve done business before. I walk out. Hey boss man. Remember when you told me to tell people youre still open. Dont worry. I wont say a positive word about your business. There are other options in the area.

Great place to get food. Also one of the only places that got late hours in the area. Family ran, everyone that works their is nice. I have never gotten food here that I had to question, SO GOOD

Trash.Smallest sub I have EVER seen in my life. I took pictures it was THAT bad.Italian.2 PCs of meat. 1 PC of cheese and lettuce. Nothing else. They outta be embarrassed.My company usually orders a couple hundred dollars worth of food every week from here.Not anymore. I called to complain and the customer service is non existent. They are beyond rude.And CHEAP.

The meals and service were above our expectations. I really loved the environment of this restaurant. Fantastic spot to take my family out for lunch.

I have been been a customer since I was a teenager before I got my license i would meet with my friends with little money we would share fries and the owners would let us stay as long as we wanted.Then I met my husband 31 yrs ago and he also loved captain pizza. Saying this place has absolutely great pizza would be (although correct) dismissing the other great food that they serve here. The subs here are great and full of meat, and there calzones are to die for. The service here makes it seem like you have been brought into there little Captain Pizza family. Great place, truly epic.

Years ago with my kids we tried every pizza place around and captain pizza was it. I think today they could spruce it up. Move inventory out of dinning area. But the pizza is excellent.

My hometown Pizza joint! I will always have love for Captain.. Much like Dave Portnoy with Montes Id give Captain a 10 for a one bite pizza score. The sandwiches are also amazing.

Pizza is Greek Style which is not my favorite, but theirs is surprisingly so good that I have come to prefer it! And they really shine on subs and MANY other items, and the staff seems motivated to go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy. Whenever nobody wants to cook, North Readings Captain Pizza is one of our first choices.

What happened to your delicious, juicy burgers? Took a few bites, couldn’t finish it. Obviously it was a previously frozen burger of poor quality. My husband agrees, he threw his out as well. Very disappointed as we’ve been fans for over 20 years!!

Ive never eaten here before, and just ordered a pizza for the first time tonight. I talked to the kid on the phone at 9:36. I asked him for a particular pizza that I saw on their website, and asked if I could substitute one of the meat options on it for a vegetable. The kid told me yes, and I chose which vegetable, and then proceeded to read out every ingredient that would be on the pizza to confirm with him. He agreed. My boyfriend went to pick up the pizza at 9:57. When he arrived, he opened the pizza to check that the order was right, and could clearly see that it wasnt. The kid assured him that he had told me over the phone that they had changed their menu, and the pizza that I ordered would not have the exact same ingredients anymore. (He did not mention this at all on the phone, and certain ingredients were totally missing, and werent replaced with anything else.) My boyfriend paid and left, even leaving a tip. When he arrived home, I saw that the meat on top was sausage and was supposed to be hamburger. I called, especially after hearing about the kids lie that he told me about the new menu, and asked if he had put hamburger on my pizza. He assured me that he did, that he had personally made my pizza himself. I tasted it, my boyfriend tasted it, and the meat was clearly sausage. He told me again that he had put the ground beef on himself (another lie.) I live at the bottom of the street from this pizza place, and I will never be back again. When I let them know how disappointed I was, especially with this being the first time I had tried this pizza place, the kid had literally nothing to say, not even sorry, and FORGET trying to make any amends. I moved to this town a year and a half ago and no one had anything good to say about Captain Pizza. I now know why, and I certainly wont be back.

I always get the Artichoke Delight Pizza. Its sooooo delicious. Sometimes Ill pick up one before work and I share it with a couple of friends. They love it as well.

Friends and I ordered a chicken parm calzone. They left it in a bit long so it came out a bit crispier than expected. The owner told us if we didnt like it, he would make us a new one. It was great regardless, and he offered us some sides for free, too. We were happy with the calzone, but we did take him up on his offer for a free drink on our way out the door.A great experience on our way up to New Hampshire from the South Shore and honestly some of the best service Ive ever had from a restaurant.

This place sucks. They over charged my credit card. Gave themselves a 3.00 tip. After I gave the driver a 2.00 tip. Then to top it off they send me burnt fries and refused to refund me the proper amount of money for returning the fries. I wouldnt recommend this place to my dog. No customer service skills theyre very rude.

Ordered a large pastrami sub with American and pickles. The bread was stale. It is a small not a large and one peice of cheese. I asked for plain potato chips and got two large bags of sour cream and onion, which I can not have due to a dietary restriction.

Ive been a customer of Captain Pizza for a while now (I knew it existed and ate there a handful of times) and recently went in for a sub as I was in the area.While waiting for my sub, one of the veteran cooks threw a handful of chicken tenders into a fryer. One tender bounced off the side and landed back behind the stove area. The cook turned off the burner next to him, reached around, grabbed the chicken tender, and tossed it into the fryer like nothing happened.Instead of throwing the bad piece of chicken away, the cook decided to minimize food costs. Next time, why dont you leave the 3 point throws to Lebron?Basically, if you want to eat food that was once on the floor, go here. I will never ever go back there.
