Something amazing happened today.... Trek bicycles (formerly bicycles inc.) left me on hold for 15 min. As a result I hung up the phone and looked elsewhere. I found Bonzai Cycle Werx. I popped in for some service on my nukeproof reactor, I was not disappointed. My wheels were trued, my sticky dropper post was fixed and he even found that there were too many spacers on my front caliper not allowing the pad to make full contact. All of this while I waited! As a side note, please ignore the review about the false pricing the owners are simply charging the processing fee the servicer charges to process your credit card. This is not some bait and switch trick. If you dont want to pay it, use cash! I have found my permanent new bicycle shop. When its time for some upgrades or more service, I will be back! Thank you guys again!

These guys are awesome. They gave me the best price in the DFW area to put my bike together. I tried them again recently since my local shop was bought out by a big chain. They got me in immediately and mounted two tires for me at a better price than what I was quoted by other shops. They are still family owned and operated! I WILL be back!

My family and I just started cycling this past summer.I needed a back wheel and these guys took it apart and remounted the gears, ensured the back was aligned, shifting properly and the brake was functioning properly. They have extremely competitive prices well below chain stores. Their costumer service is 110% top notch. I will be a repeat customer with all my needs.The comparison is you finding that “mom and pop” mechanic shop for your vehicle that does better than all other chain places in the area.

Bicycles Inc was always my store of choice. But I started visiting bonsai last year because, bicycles Inc was just too dang busy thanks to Covid19. So I went only out of necessity. Its smaller and of course the selection is not as big, but their service is second to nobody. If you need your bicycle fixed or repaired or tuned up, this is the place to go! The guys will bend over backwards to help you out. Prices are on par with Trek and Inc. (well as of this posting I think inc is being purchased by Trek)

Just moved to the area and found this local shop. Great customer service and phenomenal mechanics. Had a tune up on my 2012 Cannondale CAAD 10 with over 5000 miles on it and it rides like new!!! 10/10 recommend.

This cute little bike shop is legit. Besides the owner and workers being super nice and quick to repair all of the flats I get, its inexpensive as well! Not to mention theyre location is great! Right next to one of the main bike and walking trails in North Richland Hills.

Best bike shop period. Each and everyone of them are super knowledgeable with each type of bike. I had brought my full suspension bike there for a front fork over haul that 3 other bike shops were not able to fix and kept urging me to purchase a new fork even though mine was not broken. Bonzai Cycle Werx was able to get this resolved so quickly and effortlessly that it seemed like the bike never even had an issue. Also they have great prices for bike repairs and parts. I had bought pedals, a helmet and a tool for a great price that other bike shops would over price.I will be going here from now on for any bike service or repairs! 10/10

These guys are great. Brought two bikes in with flat tires, they changed them out right away! They explained what popped the tires. I would definitely recommend them!

Cant recommend these guys enough.I needed to file a warranty claim on a SRAM cassette that is on a bike that I didnt even buy from their shop, and they were more than happy to help me out. Furthermore, they even let me borrow a cassette so I could keep riding while the claim is processed. The shop where I originally bought the bike (Trek Bikes of Coppell fyi) resisted even filing a claim for me and then told me to pound sand when I asked for a loaner wheel/cassette given the possible long wait period. Bonzai is clearly the rider-focused shop that wants to keep you riding no matter what. Will be moving all my business over to this shop and will recommend it to my many riding friends in the area.

I went in with my Mongoose mountain bikes front wheel almost folded in half, and a plethora of other things that needed attention, some not-so-minor.After looking it over, Brian(sp?) starts going down the list of things I need done just to be safe. When the list of parts got to be more than the original purchase price of the bicycle, I almost left the shop.When I told him to go ahead and do it since this is my only source of transportation right now, he told me to wait a minute and went in the back. He came out with a nice Trek.I ended up buying the Trek, for way less than they could have gotten and probably less than it was worth. I am really glad I stopped in that day.These guys are awesome. Great local shop. I love their rent-a-specialist service. While I don’t think I will ever attempt a full overhaul on my bike, it great that I can book a time with a tech, in my case the owner Brian, and together we tune up my bike. Today I did both my mountain bike and road bike. Learned a bunch, relearned some old stuff that I had forgotten long ago, but now feel confident I can fix stuff on the trail or road, or do basic maintenance. The other employees are super chill, no pressure and are helpful. I was replacing the grips on my daughter’s bike and she usually goes with pink, they only had purple, but I thought I matched her bike better. Anyway, they said they could get pink in a day or so, but I said I would call back if my daughter really wanted pink. She liked the purple better, but I thought it was kinda cool when a few days later I go back in the shop, and they stocked pink!Anyway, I wish my schedule would let me join their group rides, but check out their rides and events tab. I had originally gone to a different bike shop that wasnt willing to honor the warranty on my bike and wanted to over charge me for the repair, so it was a great relief to go to this bike shop and get some amazing customer service along with a quick and easy repair. Mason and another gentleman were very helpful, fast and experienced in fixing my bike. They changed the crank arm on my bike in less than ten minutes and made sure to check that everything was working properly and that I was kept in the loop the whole time. All in all, the whole visit took probably half an hour, if that, and cost me what I thought was a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone and I will definitely be coming when I need anything done to my bike.

I purchased a bike online last summer. The manufacturer shipped the bike and paid Bonzai to assemble it for me. They did so with pleasure. I felt the mechanics were very competent and friendly. I never felt pressured to buy anything and would highly recommend this shop!

Ive shopped here since they open a few years ago. Very friendly and good customer service. They dont have everything but they can get what you need within a day which is better than driving all over town in my book.

The first 2 stars are for a pretty good tune up.And the last 3 missing stars are because I got the Deluxe tune up and had the back tire replaced, came in to pick it up and the back tire was flat. I havent had to air up the tire in months so it was a bit of a shocker when instead of instantly putting slime in it the bike tech suggested I replace it and wanted to charge me for the tube because he wasnt sure if the slime they have would go well with what was already in the slime tube..I understand the possibility of a thorn being in the tube then replacing the tire could open it up. But for a cheap tube they get at wholesale prices they could easily have kept a customer for life considering I spent over $130 on that visit and I live right beside them.Guess I was use to my last bike shop going out of their way for their customers..

I went back to them because their product knowledge and service were so much better than everyone else. I have since bought wheels and tons of accessories from them. I am a customer for life. I bought a beginner mountain bike from these guys and they were very helpful. They have been great with answering my numerous questions, showing me how to make adjustments to the bike and offering suggestions on local trails. *They will make free adjustments and tune ups for the 1st year.While I have found other places with slightly better prices, Bonzai is a great specialty shop.

This place is great. I went in there thinking I bought the wrong cleats from Amazon to clip into a spinning cycle. They pointed out that they were the right cleats, just upside down. (They came with no directions or any paperwork for that matter). They were also missing a part. The man who helped me not only turned them the right way, he gave me the missing pieces. I am glad my Amazon purchase was lacking, because now I found an awesome bike shop.

A half mile into my first ride after a spring tune up...my bike lost its first screw! Yeah....not good! The shop had my bike a week. When I got it back it was evident that my bike wasnt washed and the gears and chain werent oiled. Not sure what they did for my bike! But I am sure they took my money! The staff wasnt friendly!Update: the bike shop called me and offered to look at my bike again...but they want to keep my bike overnight. Not sure what they planned to do that would take all day...since they already had the bike for a week. The Guy was like I did survive the last recession giving bad customer service well that was an odd statement....Im so over it Ive decided I will not take my bike back.

Update!! VERY PLEASED! After being in a second time I talked with Corey who was very helpful and explained tons about the differences of the bikes and their features. Definitely looking at getting the 12 GT Sensor 9R 3.0 or the 12 GT Karakoram 2.0... You guys are very helpful! Although I did have to ask for help. It must have been an off day when I was there before. ----- Im new to the area so i went by to see what they had in terms of new bikes and maintenance options they could do to my current bike... Went in, and was there for about 10 min. Nobody said hi or even came to see if they could help me find what I was looking for. Besides that they dont even have decent mountain bikes. None of them have any sort of rear suspension! I mean Walmart has bikes with rear suspension! Maybe it was an off day. Ill try one more time.

If your looking for a place to get a fitting look somewhere else.I setup an appoitment for a fitting a week prior to the fitting date and Frank supposedly took all my information and said we were all set.I drove 25 minutes to the shop and arrived ontime for the appoitment. Apparently Frank was sick for the last couple of days and noone in the shop bothered to call any of his appointments letting them know too reschedule.I talked the owner and he basically was all nonchalent and you could tell from his attitude that he didnt give a crap about wasting mine and who knows how many other people time. No type of remediation discount or an apology was given out.It was also apparent they never put any of the appointments into any kind of system of record as they had to collect all my information again.Stay away from this shop! Honestly the selections in the shop is pretty poor compared to the competitors like bicycle inc.
