My favorite people work here. Always the kindest and most helpful, especially Walter! I get two of my vehicles serviced here, and buy gas and on the run groceries. Always clean and very well maintained. The mechanics are honest men! Rare find all around. Highly recommend.

I got a few stares getting pics for the review but other then that, I was able to purchase with no issues. Its a shame when you expect issues buying food at a gas station, but this is the world we live in. Anyway I asked if the store is 24 hours and got a yes. They do have some refreshments. I took a fee pics for the reviw. 8ve never seen a machine for the fuel rewards program and pictured that. Anyway most seemed ok

They price gouge the gas prices . They are the closest gas station to me, so I put in a gallon when I am desperate for gas and I drive to a reasonable gas station.

You pay for the convenience of being right off the beltway. Pumps are always good to go. Accepts the five cents per gallon rebate from using your Giant loyalty card.

This gas station price gouges like no other gas station in the area. Less than 1 mile away, the gas is up to 50 cents cheaper a gallon. For example, almost all the gas stations in the area are currently at 2.15 - 219 a gallon for regular gas. They are selling theirs for 2.59. Grimey.

For the first time ever, my car’s steering wheel locked in place after I came out of the Swiss Bakery. I walked down to the gas station for advice. The very nice gentleman behind the desk at the station took the time to walk back to my car with me and unlock it, above and beyond.

Who would of thought that Shell Gas Station on braddock road would be a bank. I prepay $10 of gas and they proceed to TAKE $85 out of my bank account. Who does that? I mean I paid for the gas, why am I being punished and charged extra money for something i didnt even get. My car doesnt even take $85 worth of gas.Shame on you for practicing this type of shady business with your customers. I applaud your lack of communication and non-care free attitude towards this matter. I mean all I had to was buy my medication with that but looks like yall dont care.

Best service station around. They are reasonable and honest. They work all weekend and you can drop your car off on Friday and pick it up before work for almost everything. Also the best place to get an inspection. Early hours are great.

Literally the most expensive gas in the area. Its often 10-20 cents above what other stations, only a couple miles away. Id recommend driving a mile down Braddock and filling up at one of the stations down there.The only positive about this place is that they offer free air and its the gas station I know of in Northern VA that does.

The highest gas around, but its because of its location right of Braddock Road heading onto 495. The customer service there has been above and beyond each time I have visited which was for a nail in my tire and inspections. (Had one car done and the mechanic said, Hurry home and get the other one so I can take care of both of them for you today!). The location is one of the few in the area that offers free air. I wish theyd upgrade to the machines that gauge the tire pressure like Sheets machines, but then itd probably would no longer be free... Cant have it all, right?

VERY SESITIVE PUMPS. Despite FIRMLY pushing the 87 grade, I was charged (& fueled) my car with mid-grade gas. When I inquired inside, the attendant showed me outside that despite selecting 87 the hose MAY have hit the mid grade. This is not the appropriate fuel & Im stuck with it.

Im giving this place 1 star specifically directed at the people inside the location for their rude behavior and complete unprofessionalism. Ill give 5 stars to the gentleman that helped me in the service garage for my emissions inspection. His name is Richard and hes as friendly as they come. The folks inside the store location were completely rude. When the emissions testing was completed, I went into the store to ask them about payment. They looked at me and asked if I had a ticket, which I did not. They then rudely told me that I had to do it with the gentleman in the service garage. I asked, so, just knock on the garage door and ask him to check me out? to which the store clerk rudely pointed to the door behind him and said There! Go through there!Let me address that rude clerk: This isnt something thats obvious. In fact, most garages dont want their patrons to step foot in the actual garage due to liabilities and the dangers of being in a garage. You could learn something from Richard and simply answer your customers questions with respect without getting snippy. I dont know what your deal is, but you need an attitude adjustment. Bottom line, dont be a jerk.

Their gas prices are more than stations further away, but they have a great location and so can charge more for convenience (I would do the same if I owned it).Their service station is excellent. They do not try to upsell, in fact theyve told me I didnt require service I thought the car needed. It would have been very easy to just do the work and charge me for it. Yes, they charge standard fees for work but I trust the work is necessary and fairly calculated. They are friendly, easy to work with and very accommodating.Updated 2019: while the gas station is still fine, the service station has gone down in my opinion. I stopped using them when they started doing work I didn’t feel was necessary and the prices became unreasonable. I felt I could no longer trust the work and went elsewhere.

Friendly staff, open till late. My first experience with the shop was on a Thursday evening while i notice my car inspection is due the next date. This show open late till 8pm. I was able to drive in a get the inspection done after work. How awesome is that?

BEST place to get your emergency flat fix. I was driving around the beltway and BOOM, my front tire lost some tread. I flopped into this station on a Saturday morning. I have a spare but it was flat as well. Most places would have pressured me into buy a new EXPENSIVE tire - not these guys. He looks at the spare, said he could patch the hole and in 15 mins i was back on the road again. HONEST and Trustworthy - what could be better?

Ive heard this place was great under Sunoco, but I get the impression its a bit hit and miss now. My wifes car (before we were married) was serviced there and noticed a few things a bit off with the old invoices.They flush the brake system in Jan then 6k miles and 9 months later they are recommending another flush. (vs 2-3 years 20-45k miles that a quick google search will recommend) - if the fluid was going bad that fast clearly something else is at fault. Really quite skeptical of this.A questionable incident, after the rear spark plugs were replaced by them (difficult to get to with some vacuum hoses in the area), check engine light comes on and when they look it over, turns out a hose is disconnected from the engine (I am willing to believe it jiggled loose on its own but 1 week after they were in there... sounds like something might have accidentally come loose) -- so they charged 100$ for finding it and reconnecting. On the chance that they had accidentally knocked it loose, seems like the kind of thing you would just give for free.Those two were enough to give me doubts, but just the other day we took the car in for a free brake inspection, and the parking brake which worked in the parking lot when we got there, was rusted through when we picked it up. No other problems mentioned, but after having cable replaced (elsewhere) and brakes re-inspected (also elsewhere) its clear that the right rear caliper isnt working (and almost certainly hasnt been for awhile). Not sure whether it is negligence or bad work on their part - but in any case I highly recommend you pick a different mechanic.Also, as other point out, their gas is high priced so dont go there for that either!

I take my car here to get serviced, and I find the people to be very pleasant, professional, and reasonable. I highly recommend this neighborhood service station!!

The Inspection Wiper $24: Recommend you make a video of how well your wipers are working before coming here for a Saftey Inspection. I believe my wipers were fine; I made a point to check them the week prior. .... At the station the inspector suggested I go get a coffee and come back in 15 min. I did just that, since my favorite bakery is in that plaza. But when I returned to pick-up the vehicle, he had already installed a new wiper and put it on the bill. $24 wiper + $16 fee. (**This seems to be a Virginian business model.) I am very particular about keeping good tires and wipers, but amazingly this is the 2nd obligatory wiper Ive needed in 5 inspections. The other station was in Alexandria.

They took me right in, the staff was nice, convenient hours, not that typical place that tries to sale you things that you dont need, absolutely a great experience!

The gas is more expensive here than other local stations BUT the state inspector is great. We always come here for inspections because you can leave your keys and car in the queue and go to the Swiss Bakery, 7-11 or other local stores and wait.

Failed state inspection for windshield wipers and tint. Wouldnt let me go across the street to buy new blades and same tint passed last year at different station.

I had to get off 495 because my old wipers were smearing the salt and yuck from the winter roads so badly I had trouble with visibility in the first light snow of the season. I pulled in and asked if they could sell me wipers. I dont think they do standardly, but I think they saw a mama who wasnt quite prepared for first snow and were willing to do so. I took off my old wipers to verify the size and they sold them to me straight since I could install them myself. I also grabbed a coffee and the guys were in great spirits, threw in my coffee for free, which was very kind. Best part was when I COULDNT install them myself after trying for several minutes I turned around to go back to the shop and one of the younger associates was already heading my way. He had seen me struggling in the snow to install the new blades and showed me how to do it in two seconds flat. Its not my neighborhood, but if it was they would have earned a customer for life.

Got an oil change. They promised to be done within 30 min, and had my keys back in about 25. Didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need. I think thats the first time a mechanic hasnt done that, so I really appreciate that. Scott, the manager was very professional.
