This is one of the nicest comic book stores Ive ever been to!! The girl at the counter was so nice. My children werent sure what boba tea was and she took the time to explain to them and to help them choose what flavor tea and bobas they wanted. It has a very relaxing environment and its nice and cozy. Some comic book places are a little intimidating because you feel out of place but this one was very nice and friendly.This place has a large variety of comics, knickknacks and collectibles. If this place were closer to home, Id probably visit daily lol

Cool little comic book shop. There is a great selection of independent titles with some blackstock of modern issues. The specials are pretty cool and they even have signings by comic book writers and illustrators which makes for a great experience.

Cheap Delicious Hot Chocolates with alot of variety. French toast one was good. They also got spectrum wifi so good if you want a nerdy place to do some stuff on a laptop.

The bubble tea 🧋 is a great concept. They have a wide variety and it’s delicious. As a comic book retailer, they are up to date with a ton of new material. The location has a lot of good parking. The ambiance makes it a pleasant place to kill some time.

I couldnt recall the frozen bubble tea I would get normally, other than that there are peaches in it. Opted for usual dessert instead. Satisfied.

Really nice place for the comic book crowd or if you’re a fan of coffee and tea drinks. Very nice staff, helpful and friendly. Prices seemed good (per my son) and the boba tea was delicious. Worth a stop if you are passing through North Tonawanda and would like to check out all the new stuff going on downtown. I’m looking forward to checking out the two new restaurants in the near future. Looking good, NT.

Huge selection of comics and collectibles. Very spacious and clean. All the drinks we ordered were unique and delicious. I dont know how long they have been around but wish I knew sooner. Cool place for a nerdy family!

Absolutely amazing! The drinks were wonderful, the pricing extremely fair, and everything in stock was varied with plenty of options to help cultivate your customer experience. I was especially pleased with the number of popular comic names and also newer and POC-led issues. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Definitely would recommend to any comic fan, but especially women and kids.

The staff was knowledgeable about the material and made great recommendations. I had gone there to buy materials to inspire and help guide my childs drawing and take it to the next level, this stores employees stepped up to the challenge. Of course we ended our we ended our trip with bubble tea, not really my thing but the Hibiscus tea I got was very good. I am sure we will be returning soon for more inspiration.

Very tiny but has a little bit of everything. I had a strawberry and cream hot chocolate and my sister had a bubble tea with rainbow boba, which speaks to the variety of interesting and creative drinks available. I could have stared at the board for ages honestly deciding. Drinks were delicious and there was a place to sit and enjoy them. Also picked up a copy of a Marvel issue Id been looking for. Highly recommend.

Yesterday we came in for bubble tea (which was amazing) my little guy (got a hot chocolate) and was asking about a specific book. Your worker ( who probably knew it was not carried in there) still took the time to look it up for my little guy to make sure. Your staff is always friendly and they give good recommendations.

Been going there a few times a week for a long time, so I figured it was time for a review! Pulp 716 is a comic shop that has a very comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. They offer a wonderful variety of flavors for bubble tea, coffee and hot chocolate which serves as a perfect combo with your favorite comic book- of which they also have a large selection. Any time Ive needed a newer book ordered or added to my pull the staff have always come through for me and were very helpful. This local business has my upmost respect and is a favorite I recommend to all my friends. Keep it up guys!As a side note: staff is very patient with me. I suffer severe anxiety and they treat me with the upmost respect and dont pressure me or make me feel uneasy, they are very understanding and I am grateful for it.

Meh. The shop really only carries comics by the big four and then only new issues. They have no back issues to go through and their tpbs game is super weak. They have a lot of them but nothing you cant find anywhere else. They also carried weird amounts of tpbs like 10 copies of some random arc no one cares about and despite this no deals on tpbs. If youre an og comics head youll get bored with their selection. Their idea of indie and small press is really non existent and I saw a bunch of comics that one could describe as YA (I know lol). This is a very mainstream shop for the most casual of comics readers and that dont really venture outside of big four titles--pretty disappoiting. Also, staff didnt say a word to me when I came in the shop and it wasnt particularly busy. They have an entire section of the shop for sitting and drinking coffee or whatever that I thought was going to be a back issue section or extensive to library with interesting stuff and oop material but nope. Oh well. Lotsa better LCS in Buffalo and greater western NY region anyway.

This comic book shop is a hidden gem on a quiet street in buffalo. I have come in a few times and every time Im greeted with warmth. Comic selection is awesome, as well as a nice cozy spot to sit and drink (pre covid.) The boba tea is amazing and the selection of flavors is awesome. This shop is also lgbtq+ friendly and the second you walk in you know you can be yourself. Highly recommend.

We recently moved to city of Tonawanda and love this place. A great mix of merchandise and delicious baked goods. The staff are always cheery and helpful. The date for $8 deal on Fridays is fantastic.

Always a wonderful experience here for bubble tea Id suggest the whovian(blue raspberry and vanilla) cool comics and collectibles along with some vintage candies the only thing that would make them better imo would be if they also sold trading cards like MTG and pokemon

Not the biggest comics store in the Buffalo area but totally my favorite. Amy, one of the store owners, is super friendly and gives great recommendations, like; Something is Killing the Children, Finger Guns and Sleeping Beauties,. The drinks are great and theres always a chance at any variant cover at no extra charge. They randomly put them out throughout the day. Go early one Friday and grab a Plankie or later and do a date for $8 (one of their promotions) and always buy 4 get 1. Ive read and collected comics for almost two decades and been to a lot of stores around the East coast and middle America and Pulp 716 in NT is a great mix of the small mom and pop store and the trendy City stores.

This store is awesome. Comic books, graphic novels, collectables, and novelty items of all sorts. Staff is wonderful and very happy to help with whatever you need. The fruit teas and coffees are really fun because you can combine all sorts of flavors and even make them frozen drinks during the summer. Fridays are a good time to stop in as they due 2 drinks and a desert/snack of your choice for only 8$. Go check them out and have fun.

Our family loves this place! Amazing drinks, comic books, novelties, desserts, nostalgic candy, board games to play while waiting or enjoying your drink/dessert. The list goes on. To top it all off they have quick and courteous service and always help my kids decide what drink to get (because there are so many to choose feom)! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!

Everything is 5* at Pulp716 in N.T. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. The Drinks are made to order and Delicious!! Boba pearls are made in small batches, theyre always perfect and Fresh!! Larger orders can be called in ahead and will be ready for pick up. This also ensures they will have enough Boba made for your drinks. Theyre frozen Hot Chocolate drinks are heavenly on a hot day and highly recommended!

I had never heard of this place until my friend convinced me to go to a VIP meet and greet karaoke event hosted by Nicholas Brendon (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame). Besides selling comics, graphic novels, and action figures and other goods, they also serve coffee, tea, and baked goods here. They also have tables, seating, and games for customers. We had a lot of fun meeting Nick and he really can sing very well. I cant so I didnt sing haha. I had the Bananna Cream Pie tea with Blueberry Explosion boba pearls- this was my first ever boba tea and it was Fantastic! Special thanks to Nick and Sarah and the venue staff for an unforgettable night.

I love the atmosphere of this place but I have come to find I am missing a lot of issues of the magazine I asked them to pull for me, when they’ve been telling me all along that I am not missing any issues.Amazing comics but no way to get complete sets of most. They either don’t have certain issues and/or can’t tell you how to get them. I was told to wait until the paperback (which will be probably very hard to find) came out for a title they only had #1 of, yet apparently had like 5 more issues of online. Not a truly good comic shop if I have to try to figure out a way to get titles online myself. I just use them as kind of a preview place even if I have to buy the comics at full price?

My favorite local comic book shop as well as the best Hot Cocoa in town. The owners and workers are always incredibly friendly and accommodating, they work hard to make a fun, friendly environment with not only great comics and great beverages but a variety of fun board games/card games etc. Theyve always been quick to get any issue of any comic I could want (mostly Punisher and Judge Dred) and are good about notifying you as soon as its ready for pickup. If you love comics, board games or just a good hot or cold beverage pulp is the place to go.

The best part of the shop is the fun, knowledgable and friendly staff who are always welcoming and will take good care of your comic or bubble tea needs. The comics are always neatly presented and easy to access, no climbing over boxes of older books to find what you need, so consequently the store always smells fresh and is bright and lively. Their selection of toys, model kits, games, oddities, etc.. gives the place a something for everyone atmosphere.Where they really shine though is their Bubble Tea and the baked goods. Putting their second store in bustling downtown N. Tonawanda added a spark of family-friendly fun that adds immeasurably to the community.

I ordered a few flavors of bubble teas made as slushes on a 90 degree day... My peach lemonade slush was the most refreshing thing I’ve ever had! My roommates loved the raspberry lemonade and hibiscus flavors they ordered.Definitely the best bubble tea I’ve had in WNY. Worth the drive if you live down in Buffalo!They also have comic books and collectibles, if you’re into those things. I had eyes only for the bubble teas, though.

Got the Strawberry Lemonade drink with the exploding Boba, OH MY GOD!!!! It was so good!! It had a slight hint of tea (I should add that I despise tea, lol), and that made it just perfect. I loved it! Such a cool little shop!
