Favorite store!!! it’s a treasure trove. I can count on maybe one hand the other shops of this kind (libations and fantastic things to pair with them) that I’ve ever been to that have this good of a selection, whether that be abroad, in nyc, Massachusetts/New England etc. just great taste. If I can’t find it anywhere else, it’s likely here. Bonus likes for their sake section. Love.

I guess some stores are making up their own rules about what you have to wear on your face now. Its one thing to do under a mandate but now its just discriminating against customers & prolonging the stupidity. Plenty of other stores in town!

Pricey, but worth it. Most varied wine selection in the valley, with particular focus on organic, biodynamic, natural, and interesting small wine producers. Pair that with interesting cheeses and an array of craft beer and artisanal dry goods. A go-to for special occasion meals, quality gifts, or treats you cant find anywhere else!

Wow. I walked in and immediately knew I had to come back. This place is amazing! Excellent cheese selection, incredible wine and craft beer selection and wonderfully friendly staff. Great products, without charging you an arm and a leg. Definitely put this on your grocery run!

Hands down the best wine/beer/cheese shop in western Mass. The vast cheese selection (with some exclusives that only they receive) located in spanking new cheese coolers draws you in, soon you notice the selection of both local and faraway beers rounded out by stacks upon stacks of natural & classical wine. Having visited most of these sort of shops from Boston to the Berkshires, Provisions ranks easily among the top in the state— and region. I bring friends from far and wide to visit and the reaction is always the same... “wow!”

I went to Provisions for the first time last year because I was looking for specialty cheese shops in Western Mass and I was not disappointed! The team working behind the cheese counter spoke to me very enthusiastically about different cheeses and they made me feel comfortable to ask questions to understand what cheeses would work best for the dishes I was planning to make. The team recommended me an incredible Spanish Manchego and it was one of the best cheeses I had ever eaten!

The selection here really is fantastic and well curated. Beer, wine, cider, cheese all the tasty treats you shouldnt eat much of. Luckily its all so expensive you wont be able to buy much. The staff mostly knows the inventory, but they dont bug you. I enjoy shopping here the way one enjoys whole foods. You know you can get it for less somewhere else, but it sure is a pleasant shopping experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Three young woman behind the cheese case was so knowledgeable about all of their products, I was truly amazed! Its customer service like this that will prevent Amazon from taking over the world.

This place has awesome wines, craft beers and cheeses. The staff had always been helpful and friendly. They have frequent free tastings and they also have many paid events. They range from fairly reasonably priced to kind of pricey, at least for my wallet. I highly recommend checking out their website and maybe signing up for their email list. Youll get more and better information from them, than I could possibly explain. Also, the wine selection is immense for such a moderate space and they have everything for everyones palates and wallet. Their craft beer section is great and they also carry brands that I havent seen at other locations.

Always a pleasure. Knowledgeable about beer, wine. Opportunities to pair with delicious meat and cheese. They have a fantastic keg selection. Its the only packy I go to and the term doesnt do it justice with all the tastings and great staff.

Great selections and the staff is always super helpful, whether wine or cheese purchases. Always fun to look around to find the different things they have there. Anytime were in Northampton for a chill evening we always stop in! If you happen upon one of the tastings, its a great time.

This place is an epicurean playground. If you need something esoteric to cook with, drink, or eat, it will be here. Cheese/charcuterie selection is totally on point and wine/beer gets even better. Go here if you are in Northampton.

They also have a variety of interesting cheese and other specialty grocery items.Note: they dont carry hard liquor, so youll have to go elsewhere for that (the nearest place being State Street).Four stars only because the prices here are very high. I cant tell you if the wine prices are competitive, but all the grocery items are very expensive.Its a very nice place to browse, and the staff seems very competent in terms of their ability to talk about the inventory.

Stopped to get a bottle of wine for Mom and ended up getting an entire case. Great selection of mead and cider. Very helpful staff.

This beer/cider selection is on par with the best craft brew stores in the US. Im an avid sour beer enthusiast and these guys had nearly everything. They had 6 varieties of jolly pumpkin alone! I was able to find beer that has since disappeared in NYC. The staff is extremely knowledgeable as well. Great job!

If youre looking for the best of the best in fine wines, beers, and other imbibeables, this is the place to go. The staff knows a lot about everything they carry, and have never steered me wrong. Add knowledgeable cheesemongers, and a variety of gourmet items, you could lose yourself for an hour on this small, but packed shop. Not inexpensive, but so worth it, and they do have something for most budgets.GO!

Provisions has the most expansive selection of craft beer I have ever seen at a store of this nature and any time Im craving beer thats my number one stop.

They may not be the least expensive ppace to shop, but their selection of specialty and local food and drink is spectacular. This is a great place to check out if you want to go beyond what is available at the regular supermarket.

This is my favorite place to buy wine and beer, hands down. They sell good local beers. They have a pretty huge wine cellar and really know their product! Theres a cheese monger, dried meats expert (charcuterie?). I saw real grenadine for sale and a nice bitters selection. I could go on, its like the apple store of wine stores. And I thought the prices were fair on top of everything.

A fairly large and well stocked shop, especially for wine and beer. A good choice for natural wine by the bottle.

Shopping here has turned me into the hors doeuvre master of family gatherings. Their vast selection of cheeses and meats makes it easy to construct a delicious cheese and charcuterie board. Their incredibly knowledgeable and patient staff are a lifesaver when you find yourself tasked with providing pre-dinner snacks for 16 hungry relatives on Thanksgiving.
