I bought a car battery here in March of 2020. The battery died within the first two weeks of purchase. When I called to exchange it with the warranty, the guy actually spoke down to me, like Im a child, and said well you cant let your car sit for two days and not drive it, thats why it died. We clearly disagreed, but he told me they would not exchange it. I ended up buying a charger, and I have to use it at least once a month if I dont drive my car for a couple days. Ive never had this happen before and I have definitely gone much longer than two days without my old battery dying. I called a second time a few months later, hoping that speaking to a different person would bring a different result, but no, the second person I talked to said that they would not exchange it either. I get that times are tough for some businesses, but they clearly sold me a bad battery, and their refusal to make it right has definitely caused them to lose my family and friends as customers.I tried to just shrug this all off, but after not being able to drive to store because its dead again, and me having to hook it up to the charger again, Ive just reached my limit. I will be buying a battery from OReilly Auto Parts, and I will never go to this advance auto parts again.

My husband took my car in for them to check the battery. They didnt even pull the battery out to check it... They said it waa fine. 3 Days later I took my car in and asked the gentleman working to check it he turned me down and said I was better off at OReillys or Dougs... Instead of getting nasty with him I walked right out and drove across the street to OReillys. I am very thankful for the gentleman that would NOT help me at Advance because my car broke down in the parking lot of OReillys. The gentlemen there were by my side for 2 HOURS until they got my car back up and running... They got a good amount of money from me that day that I would have spent at Advance but I am happy I spent it else where. I am a woman that doesnt know much about cars BUT I am willing to learn, instead of being treated less because of it. My husband and I will no longer go here and we are making sure my story is heard.

They were super helpful got me back on the road my alternate went out and they not only figured it out but hook me up with James came and put it in on the spot thanks so very much too all of the employees Tom Jared and three others were all very helpful check out advance Auto parts in Northfield
